Abstrak:
PT XYZ adalah industri manufaktur yang memiliki proses produksi yang menghasilkan panas dan berpotensi menimbulkan heat stress bagi pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat keluhan subjektif akibat tekanan panas pada pekerja di area fermentasi kedelai dan pemasakan PT XYZ. Penelitian dilakukan pada 55 responden dengan desain studi cross sectional deskriptif. Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) digunakan untuk mengukur risiko tekanan panas. Kuesioner menilai keluhan subjektif pekerja akibat tekanan panas. Hasil menunjukkan indeks WBGT rata-rata di area adalah 27,35°C - 32,29°C. Terdapat 70,9% responden mengalami tekanan panas dan 54,5% mengalami keluhan ringan. Keluhan subjektif utama yaitu banyak berkeringat (67,3%) dan merasa haus (50,9%). Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat keluhan subjektif, yaitu kejadian tekanan panas (p value= 0,001) dan beban kerja (p value= 0,019). Rekomendasi dari segi teknis, administratif, maupun personal dibutuhkan untuk meminimalisasi keluhan subjektif dan dampak kesehatan akibat tekanan panas.

The purpose of this study was to determine factors related to the level of subjective complaints due to heat stress among workers in soybean fermentation and cooking area. This study performed on 55 workers using cross sectional descriptive study design. Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) were used to quantify risk of heat stress. Questionnaires assessed worker's subjective complaints from heat stress. Results showed WBGT index in the average area are 27,35°C - 32,29°C. About 70,9% respondents experienced heat stress and 54,5% suffered minor complaints. The most subjective complaints were excessive sweating (67,3%) and feeling thirsty (50,9%). Factors related to the level of subjective complaints were heat stress (p value= 0,001) and workload (p value= 0,019). Hence, the recommendation such as engineering, administrative, and personal control are needed to minimize the subjective complaints and adverse health effect of heat stress.

Abstrak:
Aktivitas administrasi di dalam ruang kantor seperti menulis, membaca, mengetik dan menggunakan komputer merupakan pekerjaan yang dilakukan terus menerus dan membutuhkan tingkat pencahayaan yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pencahayaan dan keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata pada pekerja di ruang kantor PT. XYZ tahun 2017. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat pencahayaan, usia, lama kerja, kelainan refraksi, perilaku berisiko terhadap kesehatan mata, durasi kerja, kekontrasan, dan tampilan layar monitor. Sedangkan variabel dependen adalah keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 45 orang pekerja dengan desain studi cross sectional. Hasil pengukuran tingkat pencahayaan menggunakan lux meter diketahui bahwa 80% area kerja tidak memenuhi standar Permenkes No. 48 Tahun 2016, dimana terdapat 82,2% pekerja mengalami keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata. Hasil penelitian ini tidak menunjukan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik individu (usia, lama kerja, kelainan refraksi, perilaku berisiko terhadap kesehatan mata), faktor pekerjaan (durasi kerja, kekontrasan,tampilan layar monitor), dan tingkat pencahayaan dengan keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata.

The independent variables in this study are the lighting level, age, duration of employment, refractive abnormalities, risky behavior, duration of work, contrast, and monitor screen display. While the dependent variable is subjective complaints of eye fatigue. This research was conducted to 45 workers with cross sectional study design.
