Men who have sex with men (MSM) is one of the key populations for HIV / AIDS cases but the population is one of the most inaccessible populations due to the stigma in society that the population size is unknown. This makes the study in groups of MSM difficult to do because there is no sample frame that used as a benchmark to find the number of samples. Respondent Driven Sampling (RDS) is a sampling method for hidden population by using snowball sampling principle. The principle of snowball sampling makes collecting data potential to biases because not all populations have the same probability to choose. To drop the biases the data analysis techniques used are not as usual. There is a special tool that is RDSA to analyze the data. However, until now there is still data analysis on MSM ignoring the fact that data collected by RDS method but analyzed as if data collected by Simple Random Sampling (SRS) method. The aim of this study was to compare the results of univariate and bivariate analyzes of data collected by RDS method but analyzed by the technique using RDSA and data collected by RDS method but analyzed (assuming that data collected by SRS method) using STATA. The results show that there is difference estimation of the proportion between the two, especially in the section Confidence Interval (CI). RDSA results produce a wider CI than using Simple Random Sampling assumption results.

A comprehensive knowledge of HIV / AIDS is a knowledge of transmission and prevention of HIV / AIDS, which is translated into 5 components of knowledge, namely; HIV / AIDS can be prevented by having sex with husband / wife only (no sex with multiple partners), HIV / AIDS can be prevented by using condoms, HIV / AIDS can not be transmitted through the use of cutlery with the patient, HIV / AIDS is not Can be transmitted through mosquito bites / insects, can not recognize people living with HIV just by looking at the physical appearance only. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between comprehensive knowledge about HIV / AIDS with pre-marital sexual behavior in adolescents in Indonesia. The study design was cross-sectional, using the Biological Integrated Surveys and Behavior data of 2015. The number of respondents was 5250 people. The results of multiple logistic regression tests in this study showed that the proportion of adolescents with comprehensive knowledge about HIV / AIDS was 18.7% with 5.6% of adolescents with pre-marital sexual behavior, and there was a significant relationship between comprehensive knowledge about HIV / AIDS with pre-marital sexual behavior in adolescents, with p = 0.041 after controling by sex, father education, and school intervention.

ABSTRACT Name :Yatinawati Program Studi : Epidemiology Title :“Determinants Associated With HIV Occurrence In Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) At 6 Cities Indonesia Year 2015 (Integrated Data Surveillance Analysis Biological And Behavior Year 2015" Counselor : dr. Syachrizal Syarif, MPH, PhD HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that data infects cells in the immune system that can destroy or menggukan its function. Infection of this virus issued a disturbance of the immune system that can lead to immune deficiency. HIV cases in MSM compared to the year 2007 that is 5 , 35% in 2013 to 17.29%. The purpose of this study was to determine what is related to the incidence of HIV in MSM in Indonesia Year 2015. This study used a cross sectional design with regression analysis which is to see the determinant factors. The minimum sample in this study was 690 samples. The results of this study were history sifilis, gonorrhea or chlamydia disease associated with p-value HIV incidence <0.05. This can be done on MSM who are associated with routine health checks that have a history history sifilis, gonorrhea or clamidya disease. Keywords: HIV, MSM, Sifilis, Gonorrhea or Chlamydia
