The prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus tends to increase and will increase in several years in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the prevalence of obesity closely related to the incidence of diabetes mellitus type 2 has also increased and is expected to increase in few years later. The study as a retrospective cohort aims to find out the relationship between the combination of general obesity (body mass index/BMI) and central obesity (waist-toheight ratio/WtHR) with the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the adult population of Central Bogor Subdistrict, Bogor City year 2011-2018, using secondary data of Studi Kohor Faktor Risiko PTM. The results showed the cumulative incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus was 18.3% and more than half (51.2%) of respondents were obese. The proportion of incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in each category was 24.7% for the combination of general obesity and central obesity; 12.5% for central obesity only; and 50.0% for general obesity only. The results of multivariate analysis showed that the combination of general obesity and central obesity (RR = 1.914; 95% CI 1.514-2.418; p = 0.000) and general obesity only (RR = 5.013; 95% CI 1.58215.889; p = 0.006) were significantly associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus after controlled by age and triglyceride levels. Meanwhile, the central obesity only was not significantly associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (RR = 1.024; 95% CI: 0.7611.377). The results of this study are still reliable and influenced by several things, including the AUC value for the cut-off point of LP-TB ratio is not ideal; the minimum sample size for each category (both exposed and unexposed); lower power of study in certain categories; remaining chance effect; the possibility of misclassification; and selection bias because of loss to follow up

Hypertension affected mortality at least 8 millions for every years. Pattern and life style not health related with hypertension, so there are risk factors. In comparated, most of central obesity is one of risk factors of hypertension founded at women on middle ages than men. Output of this research is to know about relationship between central obesity with hypertension case in women. Research design is crossectional. The population are all women with > 18 years old registered in Posbindu PTM Surveilance database at 2015. Result showed that prevalance of hypertension 29,1%. Hypertension case more than half on >45 years old are 51,71% with everage of ages 46 years. Prevalance of central obesity with cut off point 85 cm is 53,30%. In multivariable : central obesity effect become hypertension influenced by physical activity after controlled by age. Central obesity affect to be hypertension with less of physical activity is 2,21 more than central obesity affect with high of physical activity on cut off point 85 cm. while central obesity affect to be hypertension with high physical activity is 1,34 times. The recomendation are keep of abdominal circumference size maximum 85 cm, doing the physical activity 30 minutes/day with 3 times a week or 150 minutes every week, check of blood pressure once a month in Posbindu PTM, practice of doctor or midwife.

ABSTRACT STDs prevalence is high in the WPSL. This study aims to determine the relationship the consistency of condom use in the last month with the incidence of sexually transmitted infections in female sex workers directly (WPSL). This study uses crosssectional study design. Data is collected secondary data results of Integrated Biological and Behavioral Survey in 2011. Population is female direct sex workers (WPSL) in West Java province. Number of sample is 500 respondents. The study found that the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections in female sex workers directly (WPSL) by 21% most of the WPSL is inconsistent use of condoms 76%. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between the consistency of condom use with the incidence of STI OR 1:14 (95% CI 0.66; 2.3). Increase particularly the consistent use of condoms and increased opportunities to use condoms.
ABSTRACT Name : Purwo Setiyo Nugroho Program : Master of Epidemiology Title : Association of Diabetes Mellitus With Coronary Heart Disease (Baseline Data Analysis of Non-Communicable Disease, 2011). Diabetes mellitus is a disease that can cause complications that lead to the emergence of other diseases. Cardiovascular disease is the biggest disease in patients with diabetes mellitus. This study aims to determine the relationship of diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease in the Baseline Data Non-Communicable Disease Cohort Study. The analysis is the Cox Regression estimate the Prevalence Ratio. Multivariate analysis using Cox regression analysis revealed that people suffering from diabetes mellitus have a prevalence ratio of 1.094 times (p value = 0.929 95% CI 0.149 to 8.026) than respondents who do not have diabetes mellitus. However, the results of this analysis showed that the association of diabetes mellitus against coronary heart disease is not significant considering p value <0.05 and 95% Confidence Intervals range is exceeded 1. This study the minimal selection bias because there is missing data on a sample of eligible total 1937 respondents. Similarly, the minimal bias variable measurement information for research using standard measurement tools. However, this study has weaknesses in temporality so that research results can not be justified that diabetes mellitus is a cause of coronary heart disease. Tthe value of association prevalence ratio is not the value of the actual risk. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Coronary Heart Disease, Baseline Cohort, Non Communicable Disease
