Abstrak:
Diabetes mellitus tipe 2 adalah penyakit kronis dimana tubuh tidak bisa menggunakan insulin untuk metabolisme glukosa. Penyakit ini terus menerus bertambah setiap tahun baik pada masyarakat perkotaan maupun pedesaan. Disayangkan, penyakit diabetes mellitus tidak dapat disembuhkan, hanya bisa dikendalikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor dominan terhadap kejadian pre DM dan DM tipe 2 pada Staf Kependidikan FKM UI, Depok. Variabel independen yang diteliti adalah umur, jenis kelamin, riwayat keluarga, asupan zat gizi (energi, karbohidrat, lemak, dan serat), aktivitas fisik, status gizi lebih, lingkar pinggang, dan pengetahuan gizi. Desain studi penelitian yaitu cross sectional dengan analisis chi square. Penelitian dilakukan pada 122 responden dan pada bulan April 2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 26,2% penderita pre DMDM (Pre DM (17,2%) dan DM (9%)). Variabel yang memiliki perbedaan proporsi yang bermakna dengan kejadian pre DM-DM adalah umur. Faktor dominan adalah riwayat keluarga dan umur. Staf kependidikan FKM UI diharapkan meningkatkan kesadaran untuk melakukan pola hidup sehat baik makan-makanan seimbang maupun olahraga rutin, dan melakukan pengecekan glukosa darah.
Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a chronic disease which the body can not use insulin for glucose metabolism. The disease is constantly increasing every year both in urban and rural communities. Unfortunately, diabetes mellitus can not be cured, only controlled. This study aims to determine the dominant factor on the incidence of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes mellitus in Education Staff at FKM UI, Depok. The independent variables studied were age, sex, family history, the adequacy of nutrients (energy, carbohydrates, fats, and fiber), physical activity, BMI, waist circumference, and nutrition knowledge. The study design is a crosssectional study with a chi-square analysis. The study was conducted on 122 respondents, on April 7 to 25, 2014. Results showed 26.2% of patients with pre-DM - DM (Pre DM (17.2%) and DM (9%)). Variables that had significant differences in the proportion of the incidence of pre-DM and DM is age. Dominant factor is family history ang age. Education Staff at FKM UI is expected to raise awareness for do healthy lifestyle such as eat balanc meals and exercise regularly, and do a blood sugar check.

Abstrak:
Prevalensi diabetes mellitus tipe 2 terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun yaitu 4,7% pada tahun 1980 menjadi 8,5% pada tahun 2014 dan mulai berkembang pada semua kalangan. Diabetes mellitus dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi kesehatan seperti serangan jantung, stroke, gagal ginjal, amputasi, kehilangan penglihatan dan kerusakan saraf. Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian, diet vegetarian dapat menjadi salah satu cara penanggulangan dan pencegahan diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan diet vegetarian (termasuk vegan, lacto/ovo dan lacto-ovo) serta beberapa faktor lainnya dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2 pada anggota Gereja Masehi Advent Hari Ketujuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juni 2017 di sepuluh Gereja Masehi Advent Hari Ketujuh wilayah 16 Jakarta. Teknik pemilhan sampel yang digunakan adalah consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument kuesioner dan FFQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 16.3% responden terkena DM tipe 2. Prevalensi DM tipe 2 pada responden non vegetarian adalah 2.6 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan vegan dan vegetarian lacto-ovo. Kata kunci : Diabetes mellitus tipe 2, pola diet vegetarian, gereja masehi advent hari ketujuh Prevalence of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) is on the rise which is 4,7% on 1980 became 8,5% on 2014 and this disease increasing everywhere. T2DM may cause such complications as heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, amputation, vision loss and nerve damage. Based on some research, vegetarian diet could be one way to prevent T2DM. The purpose of this research was to determine the correlation of vegetarian diet (include vegan, lacto/ovo and lacto ovo) and also other factors with the occurrence of T2DM among Jakarta Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church member. This research used cross-sectional study which was held between May- June 2014 in 10 SDA churches of region 16 Jakarta. The sampling method of this reseach is consecutive sampling. Datas was collected with questionnaire and FFQ. The results showed that 16.3% of the respondents suffered from T2DM. Prevalences of T2DM among non-vegetarians was 2,6 greater than vegetarians. Abstrak:
Tingkat kepatuhan diet di Indonesia rata-rata masih rendah. Diet dalam menjaga makanan seringkali menjadi kendala karena masih tergoda dengan segala makanan yang dapat memperburuk kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan diet pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain cross-sectional. Sampel yang diteliti adalah seluruh penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan rentang usia 25-65 tahun yang sedang rawat jalan, sampel diambil dengan metode non-random sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 130 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengukuran antropometri, pengisian kuesioner, form food recall 1x24 jam dan semi- quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SFFQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 13,8% responden yang patuh diet. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kepatuhan diet diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan jenis kelamin (p=0,008) dan lama menderita (p=0,044). Hasil uji regresi logistik menunjukkan lama menderita merupakan faktor dominan yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan diet diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penderita diabetes melitus diharapkan untuk memperhatikan pola makan yang dianjurkan dan melaksanakannya dengan baik, mampu secara aktif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya terkait penyakit diabetes melitus dan faktor-faktor terkait lainnya dan tetap mempertahankan pola makan yang sudah dijalankan bagi yang sudah lama menderita diabetes melitus tipe 2.

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that associated with dietary adherence in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. This study was using a cross-sectional design. The samples studied were all type 2 diabetes mellitus type 2 with the age range 25-65 years was outpatient, samples were taken with non-random sampling method with purposive sampling of 130 people. Data were collected through anthropometric measurements, filling-out questionnaires, 1x24 hour food recall and dan (semi- quantitative food frequency questionnaire) SFFQ form. The results showed 13.8% of respondents were diet-compliant. There were significant relationship between gender (p=0.008) and length of suffering (p=0.044) with between dietary adherence. The result of logistic regression test showed that the duration of suffering is the dominant factor associated with dietary adherence in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were expected to pay attention to the diet recommended and carry it out well, to actively to improve the knowledge related to the disease diabetes mellitus and related to the other factors and still preserve diet that has been run for who has long been suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstrak:
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor dominan terhadap kecenderungan perilaku makan menyimpang pada siswi SMA Labschool Kebayoran Jakarta Tahun 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatifdengan desain cross sectional. Dari keseluruhan responden (n=145) didapatkan sebanyak 51% memiliki kecenderungan perilaku makan menyimpang dengan1,3% mengalami kecenderungan yang serius. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan hubungan yang bermakna antara riwayat diet (P=0,000), percaya diri (P=0,043),pengaruh keluarga (P=0,001), ejekan seputar berat badan dan bentuk tubuh(P=0,023), dan IMT (P=0,037) terhadap kecenderungan perilaku makan menyimpang. Analisis multivariat juga dilakukan pada penelitian ini, didapatkan riwayat diet merupakan faktor dominan terhadap kecenderungan perilaku makan menyimpang setelah dikontrol dengan variabel percaya diri, pengaruh keluargadan ejekan (OR=3,589). Hasil dari penelitian ini menyarankan agar sekolah dan dinas kesehatan dapat bekerja sama dalam melakukan kegiatan promosi gizi mengenai perilaku makan menyimpang, perhitungan berat badan ideal,perhitungan IMT/U serta mengatur pola makan yang baik agar para siswa dapat menjaga kesehatan. Kata Kunci : kecenderungan perilaku makan menyimpang, riwayat diet, pengaruh keluarga, ejekan seputar berat badan dan bentuk tubuh.
