Stunting is linear growth retardation because of chronic malnutrition that associated with decline of cognitive function and physic skill in children. The objective of this research is to determine the dominant factor related with stunting occurence among 1st grade primary school student in Jakarta Barat, 2016. This research was descriptive study with cross sectional design that using primary data and included 182 students from 1st grade of 6 public elementary school that located in Jakarta Barat. Data were collected through the questionnaire and food frequency questionnaire. The result showed prevalence of stunting was 21,4%. The independent t-test analysis showed that food consumption frequency of zinc, iron, vitamin A, and protein had a significant difference with stunting. Chi square analysis also showed that birth weight (OR=6,31), exclusive breast-feeding (OR=2,62), history of infection (OR=2,86), basic immunization status (OR=3,45), suplementation of Vitamin A, maternal health and nutrition knowledge (OR=2,77), care feeding (OR=2,88), family size, dan family income (OR=2,88) had a significant association with stunting. Regresi binary logistic showed that consumption frequency of zinc as dominant factor of stunting occurence among 1st grade primary school stundent, Jakarta Barat in 2016. Overweight and obesity on school-age children associated with risk of obesity onadulthood and would be continued become non-communicable disease, such asDiabetes Mellitus type 2. The purpose of this study is to determine the dominantfactor of overweight and obesity on 1st grade elementary school students at SouthJakarta. This study used cross sectional design with 153 sampels amongelementary school students aged 6-9 years old at South Jakarta. In this study,overweight and obesity measured using Z-score index IMT/U. The result of thisstudy shows that 32% students are overweight and obesity and there weresignificant differences of overweight and obesity based on fat consumptionfrequency, fiber consumption frequency, physical activity, screen time, andmaternal employment. Multivariate analysis using multiple regression logicticshows that screen time as dominant factor of overweight and obesity aftercontrolled by fat consumption frequency, fiber consumption frequency, physicalactivity, and maternal education, maternal employment. According to these result,it was expected for school to monitor nutritional status of their studentsperiodically. Parents are suggested to control children‟s time for watching TV andplaying games/laptop/computer at home and they must consider to take theirchildren for outdoor activities.Key words :Overweight and obesity, school-age children, IMT/U, screen time, physicalactivity.
Wasting is a condition of acute malnutrition that can increase the risk of infectious disease and death in children. The objective of this research is to determine the dominant factor related with wasting among children aged 6 ndash 23 months in North Jakarta in 2017. This research used a cross sectional study design and primary data with total sample of 207 children from 11 selected posyandu obtained through multistage random sampling method. Data were collected by anthropometric measurements weight and body length and questionnaire interviews with respondents mother caregiver of research sample. The result showed that 9,2 of children aged 6 ndash 23 months in North Jakarta are wasting. The result of bivariate analysis with chi square test showed that the practice of giving colostrum p value.

This study discusses the obesity and factors causing obesity in 6th grade elementary schoolstudents in North Jakarta. The purposes of this study were to determine the prevalence ofobesity and prove the priority to sleep as the dominant factor of obesity in the studypopulation. This study used cross sectional study design. The data collection processincludes anthropometric measurements using validated weight scales and microtoise, 24-hour food recall interview, filling out questionnaires to find out related information, diet,and sleep duration. The results showed that there were 52.3% students having obesity(IMT/U Z-score> 1.00 standard deviation). The factors associated with obesity is sleepduration. Researcher recommends to educate students about Gerakan Masyarakat Sehat(GERMAS) to students.

ABSTRAK Nama : Annisa Nursita Angesti Program studi : Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Judul : Riwayat Hipertensi Keluarga sebagai Faktor Dominan Hipertensi pada Remaja Kelas XI SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok Tahun 2017 Perubahan status gizi, pola makan dan gaya hidup pada remaja turut mempengaruhi hipertensi remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor dominan hipertensi pada remaja di SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer dari 144 responden (tekanan darah, IMT/U, asupan natrium, kalium, kalsium, lemak, konsumsi buah dan sayur, durasi tidur, stres, aktivitas fisik, jenis kelamin dan riwayat hipertensi keluarga dengan menggunakan sfigmomanometer air raksa, antropometri, Semi Quantitative FFQ, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sebanyak 42,4% remaja SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok mengalami hipertensi (≥95 persentil). Terdapat perbedaan IMT/U dan riwayat hipertensi keluarga pada hipertensi. Faktor dominan yang paling berhubungan dengan hipertensi pada remaja di SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok tahun 2017 adalah riwayat hipertensi keluarga. Diperlukan edukasi tentang pentingnya riwayat hipertensi keluarga seperti kegiatan konseling genetik sebagai pencegahan hipertensi remaja. Kata kunci : hipertensi, remaja, riwayat hipertensi keluarga

The purpose of this research is to determine the most dominant factor of hypertension among adolescent at SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok 2017. This research used a cross sectional design Data was collected trough primary data collection from 144 respondens (blood pressure, BMI for age, sodium, potassium, calcium, fat intake, fruit and vegetable consumption, sleep duration, stress, physical activity, sex and family history of hypertension by mercury sphygmomanometer, anthropometry and Semi Quantitative FFQ) and questionnaire. The study showed that 42.4% of adolescent of SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok had hypertension (≥95 percentile). Factors associated with hypertension was BMI for age and family history of hypertension. The most dominant factor associated with hypertension among adolescents at SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok 2017 was family history of hypertension. Education’s family history of hypertension such as genetic counseling was needed for prevent adolescent’s hypertension.. Keywords: adolescent, family history of hypertension, hypertension
