This thesis aims to determine the relationship between unintended pregnancy and antenatal care behavior which is a composite of the first antenatal visit, the frequency of antenatal checks and iron consumption. The method used is a cross-sectional design using the 2017 IDHS data. Analysis was performed with chi square and logistic regression models of risk factors. There is a relationship between unintended pregnancy and antenatal care behavior (p value = 0.0001). Mothers with unintended pregnancies have an opportunity to perform poor antenatal care behavior 2,338 times compared to intended pregnancies. The effect of unintended pregnancy on antenatal care behavior depends or varies according to the group of risky maternal age, parity and type of residence.

In addition to the direct causes, there are also manyfactors triggering the occurrence of neonatal mortality. These factors includesocioeconomic factors, maternal factors, health service factors, neonatal factors, factors childbirth and postnatal care. This study used cross sectional design byusing multiple logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate thatthe cause of neonatal mortality is completeness ANC, visit neonatal, maternalage, birth attendants, maternal education, maternal employment and the place ofdelivery. Respondents who experienced pregnancy complications heartburnbefore 9 months have a chance at 1,021 to experience neonatal death, respondents who experienced pregnancy complications excessive bleeding have achance at 1,170 times to experience neonatal death, respondents who experiencedkommplikasi pregnancy fever has the opportunity for 1,153 times to experienceneonatal deaths , respondents who experienced pregnancy complications seizureshave a chance at 1,036 times to experience neonatal death, respondents whoexperienced pregnancy complications with danger signs of more than onejenistanda hazards such as hypertension, headache, fetal position, breechpresentation, and edema have a chance at 1,276 times to experience neonataldeath. And associated with complications of pregnancy, it is expected thegovernment to make efforts terhadapa early detection of complications inpregnancy and should be followed by continuous monitoring on compliancemother against the advice of health officials.

More than 90% of cases of children infected with HIV are transmitted through the process of mother-to-child transmission. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the regularity of antenatal care and HIV testing in pregnant women in Indonesia based on data from the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas). This study was an observational survey method (cross sectional) using data sourced from Riskesdas in 2018. The sample was women. of childbearing age in Indonesia who have a history of pregnancy and were selected as Riskesdas respondents in 2018 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample size in this study was 12,383 respondents. The dependent variable in this study was HIV testing for pregnant women, the main independent variable was the regularity of antenatal check-ups (ANC) and the covariates were age, place of residence, education, work status, parity, knowledge of HIV, attitudes towards people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). ), 10T antenatal care, health workers (nakes) who provide services and health facilities (faskes) where mothers check for pregnancy. The variables of regularity of antenatal check-ups and variables of health facilities have almost the same effect in influencing the low coverage of HIV testing in pregnant women. There were 1.8 times more HIV tests in women who had regular pregnancy check-ups in urban areas and 2.2 times more in rural areas compared to those who did not regularly check for pregnancy. Furthermore, HIV tests for mothers who regularly check for pregnancy are found to be 1.5 times more checked at the hospital, 2.8 times are checked at the puskesmas and 2.2 times are checked at the clinic/independent practice compared to those who do not regularly check for pregnancy. Suggestions to health workers and MCH program managers to improve the regularity and completeness of Antenatal services and increase the availability of HIV testing facilities

The mentioned report proposed to conduct a study of internal as well as external factors that prevents mothers from utilizing delivery supporters provided by the health institute. A cross sectional study was performed and followed a method of short term survey of community. This study was carried out according to two procedure sampling. The first step was to select 30 cluster in accordance with probability proportional to size (pps) of the rural population that had been informed, the second step was the selection of homes located closed to the center of the rural center and moved to the center. The number of the sample consisted of 210 mother respondents, experiencing delivery in the year 2001. Collecting the data took place on May 2002, using questioner forms and interviews guided by officials of the District Health Service Department of Garut, that were 10 in number. Mothers education, perception to delivery supporters and delivery bill were internal as well as external factors that may become hindrance to utilizing supporters available. Mother perception was the most significant variable of utilizing delivery supporters. Cooperative attitude of delivery supporters with traditional midwifery habits may became clues of willingness to utilize supporters delivery team members were suggested to adopt some experiences of traditional midwifes and advance their technical knowledge and communication activities. For those needing delivery bill of skill full supporters JPKM should extend its capacity of finding system and last of all the community should be motivated to have delivery insurance and other mechanism that may increase supportive measures to health services.
