This research is an analytical study of Public Health Emergency ofInternational Concern Preparedness in Port Health Office using quantitative anqualitative approaches. The purpose of this study is to assess Public HealthEmergency of International Concern Preparedness of Tanjung Priok Port HealthOffice in 2017 based on IHR (2005) and Indonesian quarantine regulation.Population of this study is Tanjung Priok Port Health Office in general. Ten officersare chosen with purposive and snowball samping to be this study informants. Thedata were collected from self-administered PHEIC preparedness assessment filled byinstitutional representative and in-depth interview results (primary data), as well as2014-2016 Tanjung Priok Port Health Office Yearly Reports (secondary data). Thisstudy was conducted on April-June of 2017. Complience rate in Tanjung Priok PortHealth Office is rated excellence (CR=95,86%), although there are 8 items that donot meet the PHEIC preparedness standard, such as quarantine speedboat; quarantinespeedboat motorist with ANT-V sertificate; psychologist; refraction, audiometry, andspirometry experts; and hemocytometer. Quarantine and epidemiologic surveillanceactivities in port of entry have been done 100 %. The researcher suggests that thereshould be an improvement in Port Health Office facilities and human resourcesneeded for PHEIC preparedness.Key words:Port Health Office, PHEIC, port of entry, epidemiologic surveillance, quarantine.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui prevalensi hipertensi pada pekerja pelabuhan di wilayah kerja Kantor Kesehatan Pelabuhan Kelas II Tarakan serta faktor-faktor risiko yang berpengaruh.
Metode: Desain penelitian adalah potong lintang; subyek diperoleh dari hasil survei PTM tahun 2011 oleh Kantor Kesehatan Pelabuhan Tarakan, subyek yang terkumpul adalah 361 pekerja. Nilai pengukuran tekanan darah menggunakan nilai baku dari JNC VII tahun 2003. Hasil: Faktor yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap hipertensi adalah Umur > 42 tahun, didapatkan POR = 4,19 (95% CI 1,99 – 8,79) dengan nilai p = 0,00.
Kesimpulan: Prevalensi hipertensi adalah 21,88%. Terdapat hubungan antara umur, riwayat keluarga hipertensi, stres, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dan terpajan kebisingan dengan hipertensi. Pada penelitian ini tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin, merokok, konsumsi alkohol, olahraga, area kerja dan unit kerja dengan hipertensi.
The number of AIDS cases in Indonesia has increased, until the period ofJune 2013 amounted to 43.667 cases. The crew of ship is a mobile migrantpopulation who have HIV/AIDS-risk sexual behaviors. This research aims to havedescription of the factors correlation with risk sexual behavior related toHIV/AIDS in the crew at the Polyclinic of Port Health Office Class I of TanjungPriok. This research is an observational research using cross-sectional designstudy. Research population was entire the crew that have Medical Check Up(MCU) in the Polyclinic of Port Health Office Class I of Tanjung Priok. Researchsample was partially of the crew that have Medical Check Up (MCU) withinclusion criteria male, work period at least 3 months, Indonesian, and signedinformed consent. The result showed 30,7% of the crew have HIV/AIDS-risksexual behavior. Most of the crew characteristic are above 30 years old (56,7%),get married (59,3%), educational grade over junior high school (78,7%), back totheir hometown less than once in 9 months (78,7%), longer anchore less than 3days (59,3%), age of first sex in over 21 years old (51,3%), level of knowledgelow (53,3%), negative demeanor (54,7%), and less exposure to HIV/AIDSinformation (56,7%). The factors that are statistically have correlation with risksexual behavior was marital status, education, frequency back to their hometown,longer anchored, age of first sex, knowledge, attitudes and media exposureinformation. So that needs to be given information, education and communicationabout HIV/AIDS and sustainable use of condoms and provision of condoms ATM.Keywords : risky sexual behavior, HIV/AIDS, the crew.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja pegawai kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bintan tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan disain cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini seluruh pegawai yang berjumlah 75 orang (total sampling). Nilai kinerja pegawai 65 dengan nilai terendah kinerja pegawai 15 dan kinerja pegawai tertinggi 81. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bintan adalah faktor individu dan faktor organisasi. Faktor yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bintan Tahun 2012 adalah pendidikan terakhir (Beta = 0,482). Hasil penelitian kinerja pegawai kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bintan tahun 2012 berkinerja rendah. Peningkatan kualitas SDM akan meningkatkan kemampuan teknis pegawai dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan sehingga kinerja pegawai meningkat.
The purpose of this study to find out employee performance of Bintan Health Office in 2012. This study uses quantitative methods with cross sectional design. Sample in this study are all of the employees in Bintan Health Office 75 person in total. Employee performance point is 65, with the lowest performance of employees is 15 and the highest employee performance is 81. Employee Performance of Bintan Health Office are affected by two factors, there are individual factor and organizational factor. The most influence factor on staff performance Bintan Health Office in 2012 is the latest education. The result shows that employee in health office of bintan regencyin low performance. The Improvement quality of human resources will improve staff's technical ability in carrying out the work so that employee performance increases.
