Postponement of early initiation respresent risk factor able to improve death of neonates equal to 2,4%. Role and commitment from hospital is needed to support execution of early initiation because nine from ten efficacy steps is conducted in hospital. Budi Kemuliaan Mother and Child Hospital is a hospital that carrying out early initation since 2008. The purpose of this research is to know about midwifery performance in execution of early initiation, using cross-sectional design and 50 responder samples. The data will be analysed by univariate, bivariate analysis using Chi-Square, while the multivariate analysis using double logistics regretion. The avarage research shows that midwifery has a good performance, age more than 35 years equal to 52%, year of working more than 10 years equal to 46%, education level of Diploma three midwifery equal to 82% and diploma four midwifery equal to 18%, good knowledge equal to 62%, supporting Early initation equal to 52%, training followed less than two year equal to 22. There is a significant relationship between midwife performance with the age (p value=0.000), period working (p value=0.000), education (p value=0.028), knowledge(p value=0.000), atitude (p value=0.002), and training (p value=0.015). The dominant factor that has relationship with midwife performance in the implementation at early initation is the period of working (OR=36,7), after taking control with the education (OR=22,7) and knowledge (OR=8,1).

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose levels due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action, or both. High blood levels in diabetics are associated with long-term damage, dysfunction, and failure of some organs, especially the eyes, kidneys, heart, nerves, and blood vessels. Blood glucose levels of diabetics can be influenced by various factors such as intake, physical activity, and others. This study aims to see the differences proportion of blood glucose levels in diabetics based on physical activity and other factors. The study was conducted on diabetics at Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Minggu on April 2018. The design of this study is cross-sectional with a total sample of 110 people. Blood glucose levels are known through the medical records of respondents, physical activity and intake are known through physical activity questionnaires (GPAQ) and Semi-quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SFFQ). The results showed that 57.3% of diabetics had controlled blood glucose levels. Chisquare test showed that physical activity, medication adherence, fiber intake, duration of disease, and stress have significant differences with blood glucose levels. To increase the rate of controlled blood glucose in diabetics, it is recommended to be educated about physical activity, fiber intake, and management of stress (if necessary) in diabetics.
