Hypertension is a disease with very high mortality and morbidity in the world.Hypertension is the most common disease with cases of 3.336 in Puskesmas PasarManggis. This study aims to determine the factors associated with antihypertensivemedication adherence among elderly in the working area of Pasar Manggis Health Centerin 2020. This research is a quantitative-based cross-sectional design. Respondents in thisstudy were 59 elderly (≥60 years old) with hypertension who lived in the working area ofPasar Manggis Health Center which were selected using the quota sampling method.Data was collected through phone interview questions with the Morisky MedicationAdherence Scale-8 (MMAS-8) questionnaire and a questionnaire that has been modifiedfrom previous studies which will be analyzed by chi-square test. The results showed thateducational factors (p = 0.011), knowledge (p = 0.009), and family support (p = 0.001)had a significant relationship with antihypertensive medication adherence. Gender, age,role of health workers and access to health services do not have a significant relationshipwith antihypertensive medication adherence (p> 0.05). The result of this study areexpected to benefit the Sout Jakarta city Health Office & Pasar Manggis Health Centeras a basis for making decisions for future efforts to raise awareness, treatmet and controlof hypertension in the community.Keyword: Medication Adherence, Antihypertensive Medication, Blood Pressure,Hypertension, Elderly.

According to WHO, Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease that have been concerned as public health problem because of the number of cases continuously increased for decades and contributed 4,2 million deaths in 2019 where the largest proportion are people with type 2 diabetes. In Indonesia, DM is one of the non-communicable disease that cause major death. Diet is one of the important components of DM management to prevent disease complications. Adherence to diet becomes a very important behavior and requires self control to perform it. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between health locus of control on internal, powerful others and chance dimensions with dietary adherence among patients with type 2 DM at Depok City Hospital in 2020 along with another influencing factors. This study used a cross-sectional design with quantitative approach and data collection carried out through convenience sampling on 52 patients with type 2 DM who visited internist poly. The instrument used in this study are dietary adherence questionnaire, multidimensional health locus of control form C, diabetes knowledge questionnaire and questionnaire from the previous research. The results of this study indicate that patients have adequate dietary adherence values of 66,23 from scale of 100. Pearson correlation test results indicate that there are a significant relationship between health locus of control internal dimension with moderate and positive relationship with dietary adherence (r= 0,46) followed by powerful-others dimension which show moderate and positive relationship with dietary adherence (r= 0,28) while chance dimension show moderate and negative relationship with dietary adherence (r= -0,28). The other variables such as age, level of education, occupation, duration of DM and knowledge did not show a significant relationship with dietary adherence. However, sex variables show a significant relationship with dietary adherence with p value (0,029) and thought to be a disturbing variable of the relationship between health locus of control with dietary adherence. Therefore, an intervention and education are needed to increase awareness and patient responsibility towards adherence to diet.

Program KB di Indonesia belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan target yang diharapkan. Jumlah Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) yang aktif menggunakan alat kontrasepsi di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ciater Kota Tangerang Selatan berkisar 52,5%. Angka ini tentu saja masih berada di bawah target nasional sebesar 61,78%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi pada WUS di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ciater tahun 2025. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional, pada 115 responden yang dipilih secara consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner secara mandiri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel pekerjaan (p <0,001), pendapatan (p <0,001), pengetahuan (p <0,001), sumber informasi (p = 0,030, akses fasilitas kesehatan (p <0,001), dukungan keluarga (p <0,001), dan dukungan petugas kesehatan (p = 0,001) memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku penggunaan alat kontrasepsi pada WUS. Atas dasar tersebut perlu pemberian edukasi mengenai kontrasepsi melalui berbagai metode seperti edukasi langsung, layanan konseling personal, serta pendekatan berbasis keluarga terutama suami dan komunitas dengan melibatkan kader Puskesmas Ciater pada WUS di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Ciater.

The Family Planning program in Indonesia has not yet fully met its expected targets. The percentage of Women of Reproductive Age (WRA) actively using contraceptives in the working area of UPTD Ciater Public Health Center, South Tangerang City, is approximately 52.5%. This figure remains below the national target of 61.78%. This study aims to identify the factors associated with contraceptive use among WRA in the UPTD Ciater Public Health Center working area in 2025. This research employed a cross-sectional design involving 115 respondents selected through consecutive sampling. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires. The results showed that employment status (p < 0.001), income (p < 0.001), knowledge (p < 0.001), sources of information (p = 0.030), access to health facilities (p < 0.001), family support (p < 0.001), and support from health workers (p = 0.001) were significantly associated with contraceptive use behavior among WRA. Based on these findings, it is necessary to provide contraceptive education through various methods, such as direct education, personal counseling services, and family-based approaches—particularly involving husbands and the community—by engaging Ciater Health Center cadres within the WRA population in the UPTD Ciater Public Health Center working area.
