Working at heights is a high-risk activity. Falls from heights accounted for 38% of the 105,182 work accidents in the construction sector. In 2020 and 2021, PT.X had two falls from a height. Organizational influence is the biggest contributor in both cases. This study discusses in depth the analysis of work accidents at the height that occurred at PT.X in 2020-2021 using human factors aspects. In the accident analysis, one of the theories of human factors will be used, namely the Swiss Cheese Model with derivative tools, namely Human Factors Analysis and Classification. The research method used is a case study using secondary data and interviews with PT.X. The use of human factors aspects in accidents at work will find latent conditions and active failures that can be contributing factors to accidents. Latent conditions found include lack of management awareness in enforcing safety aspects, unavailability of optimal safety support facilities, and others. While active conditions that contribute include lack of knowledge and training of workers about hazards and controls in the workplace, violation of work rules, and others. Researchers suggest PT.X make improvements to the factors that contribute to the incidence of accidents, especially at the management and organizational levels.
This thesis analyses the adherence of operational workers in a public transportation operator in Jakarta. This study aims to analyze and explain the determinants of adherence to a health protection policy during the COVID-19 pandemic within 2020-2021. Using a cross-sectional design, this study was conducted in Jakarta from January to May 2022 with 100 respondents to participate. The collected data was analyzed by Chi Square and multiple logistic regression analysis. This study found 51% of the workers adheres and 49% of which not adheres to health protection policy at PT X. Chi Square analysis found determinants of adherence are sex, age, education background, risk perception, social support, availability and access to facilities and infrastructure and health protection viii policy. Meanwhile, multiple logistic regression found availability and access to facilities and infrastructure is the most influencing factor to adherence. Developing risk communication, imposing a measurable and evident saction, conducting two ways communications between management and workers, and creating service level agreement are some suggested measures to ensure and improve the worker’s adherence to health protection policy.
Salah satu bahaya yang sering melanda daerah pengembangan lapangan Panas Bumi adalah gerakan tanah. Secara alamiah daerah panas bumi adalah sangat rentan terhadap pergerakan tanah, karena daerah tersebut umumnya didaerah vulkanik, dimana jalur patahan banyak ditemukan dan kegiatan gempa bumi relatif tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebaran potensi bahaya gerakan tanah dan mengevaluasi tingkat bahayanya terhadap kegiatan pengembangan Panas Bumi didaerah Wayang Windu, Jawa Barat.Ada enam lokasi potensi bahaya gerakan tanah telah di petakan, menyebar secara tidak teratur di daerah penelitian. Methoda yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat bahaya potensi gerakan tanah adalah dengan mengenalisa tingkat ketidakstabilan lereng dari masing-masing lokasi potensi gerakan tanah dan kemuadian mengenalisa tingkat kerugian terhadap property, manusia maupun lingkungan yang mungkin terjadi sebagai akibat gerakan tanah tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian dibuat program yang ter-integrasi untuk pencegahan, mitigasi atau perbaikan dalam rangka mengelola potensi bahaya tersebut.Daftar bacaan : 26 (1977 - 2002)
Rock Movement Hazards Analysis at the Wayang Windu Geothermal Development FieldNaturally, geothermal development fields are susceptible to rock movement hazards because the areas are normally developed in volcanic regions, where fault structures are well developed and earthquake occurrence is highly intense. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential rock movement hazards and to assess the potential risk to property, employees, and possibly to the environment at the Wayang Windu geothermal development field, West Java.Six (6) potential rock movement hazards were mapped, geographically disseminated from the north to the south in the field investigation. The method used to assess the level of potential rock movement hazards was to analyze the slope instability of every single potential landslide that was identified and then evaluate the level of potential loss or vulnerability to property, humans, and the environment associated with the identified potential landslides. From the results of the research, we will make a recommendation to management on the best, cost-effective way to manage the potential hazards.References : 26 (1977 - 2002)
Stress kerja kerap menjangkiti banyak pihak di tempat kerja. Dari sejumlah penjelasan para ahli, stress kerja ini bisa menimbulkan dampak baik (eustress), tetapi sekaligus buruk (distress) bagi yang bersangkutan dan bagi organisasi atau perusahaan. Orang yang terkena stres kerja cenderung jadi tidak produktif, tidak tertantang untuk menunjukan kehebatannya, secara tidak sadar malah menujukan kebodohannya, bermalas malasan, tidak efektif dan tidak efisien, Secara kalkulasi manajemen tentunya ini merugikan organisasi atau perusahaan, apalagi jika pekerja yang terkena stress kerja ini jumlahnya banyak.
Job stress is often affects to many people in the workplace. Explanations from the experts, job stress can lead to better effect (eustress), but also bad (distress) for the concerned and for the organization or company. People affected by job stress tend to be non-productive, does not challenged to show his prowess, even unconsciously attribute stupidity, laze lazy, ineffective and inefficient, in calculation of course management is detrimental to the organization or company, especially if workers are exposed to stress this job.
