Tengkes (stunting) merupakan salah satu permasalahan gizi kurang pada balita yang ada di Indonesia. Pengelolaan sampah yang belum maksimal di TPA dapat menimbulkan pencemaran sanitasi lingkungan yang menjadi faktor penyebab tidak langsung tengkes (stunting) dan perilaku hidup bersih yang kurang. TPA Cipeucang menjadi satu-satunya TPA untuk wilayah Tangerang Selatan dengan 2 kelurahan yang berada dekat dengan TPA mengalami kenaikan kasus tengkes (stunting) pada tahun 2021-2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi dasar rumah sehat dan personal higiene rumah tangga dengan kejadian tengkes tengkes (stunting) pada balita di pemukiman sekitar TPA Cipeucang Kota Tangerang Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional melalui pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh balita yang ada di pemukiman sekitar TPA meliputi 2 Kelurahan dengan 4 RT dan 2 RW. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 86 dengan menggunakan teknik total dan purposive sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan April hingga Juni 2023. Analisis data menggunakan univariat, bivariat (uji Chi Square) dan multivariat (uji regresi logistik). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara sarana air minum dengan tengkes (stunting) (p=0,05, POR=1,89) dan menjadi faktor dominan penyebab tengkes (stunting) (p=0,054). Sedangkan sarana air bersih (p=0,374, POR=1,44), sarana jamban (p=0,613, POR=1,22), sarana pembuangan air limbah (p=1,000, POR=1,54), kebersihan kulit (p=1,000, POR=1,24) serta kebersihan kuku dan tangan (p=0,625, POR=1,22) tidak berhubungan dengan tengkes (stunting) namun berpotensi menjadi risiko tengkes (stunting). Sarana pengelolaan sampah padat rumah tangga (p=0,310) tidak ada hubungan dengan tengkes (stunting) dan bukan merupakan faktor risiko. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah sarana sanitasi dasar air minum memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan kejadian tengkes (stunting) dan menjadi faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kejadian tengkes (stunting) pada balita di pemukiman sekitar TPA Cipeucang Kota Tangerang Selatan Tahun 2023.
Stunting is one of malnutrition problems towards toddlers in Indonesia. Environmental sanitation has an important role against stunting. Waste management that has not been maximized at landfill can cause environmental sanitation pollution and lack of healthy hygiene behavior. Cipeucang Landfill is the only landfill for South Tangerang City with 2 sub-districts that are close to the landfill and have an increase stunting case in 2021-2022. This study aims to determine the relationship between basic healthy home sanitation and household personal hygiene with stunting case towards toddlers in settlements around Cipeucang Landfill, Tangerang Selatan City. This type of research is observational analytic through a cross sectional approach. The study population was all toddlers in settlements around Cipeucang Landfill with 2 Sub-Districts (4 RTs and 2 RWs). The research sample was 86 using a total and purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted from April to June 2023. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate (Chi Square test) and multivariate (logistic regression test). The results showed that there was relation between drinking water facilities and stunting (p=0.05, POR=1.89) and became a dominant factor causing stunting (p=0.054). While clean water facilities (p=0.374, POR=1.44), latrines (p=0.613, POR=1.22), waste water disposal facilities (p=1.000, POR=1.54), skin hygiene (p=1.000, POR=1.24) and hand and nail hygiene (p=0.625, POR=1.22) were not related to stunting but were potentially a risk of stunting. Household solid waste management facilities (p=0.310) have no relation with stunting and is not a risk factor. The conclusion in this study is basic sanitation facility for drinking water has a significant relationship with stunting case and is the dominant factor influencing stunting case towards toddlers in the settlements around TPA Cipeucang, South Tangerang City, 2023.

Kehadiran Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) sampah di suatu wilayah dapat menimbulkan risiko kesehatan bagi penduduk sekitar. Manajemen yang tidak baik dapat mengakibatkan pencemaran air, udara, dan tanah oleh tumpukan sampah. Pencemaran ini berpotensi menyebabkan penyakit berbasis lingkungan seperti ISPA, Diare, DBD, dan masalah kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kondisi lingkungan permukiman, personal hygiene, dengan kejadian penyakit berbasis lingkungan di sekitar TPA Sungai Andok Padang Panjang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan data primer dari wawancara dan observasi. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu bivariat dengan Chi Square dan analisis multivariat dengan Binary Regresi logistic model prediksi. Sampel sebanyak 103 responden dipilih melalui metode convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa variabel lingkungan permukiman seperti luas ventilasi, penerangan alami, kelembaban rumah, dan kebersihan rumah berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian penyakit berbasis lingkungan (p<0,05). Variabel personal hygiene seperti kebersihan kulit dan kebersihan tangan juga memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan penyakit tersebut (p<0,05). Umur, lama bermukim, kelembaban rumah, dan kebersihan kulit diidentifikasi sebagai variabel yang paling dominan berhubungan kejadian penyakit berbasis lingkungan di masyarakat sekitar TPA Sungai Andok. Kesimpulan Penelitian ini menemukan hubungan signifikan faktor lingkungan permukiman dan personal hygiene dengan penyakit berbasis lingkungan di sekitar TPA Sungai Andok. Umur, lama bermukim, kelembaban rumah, dan kebersihan kulit menjadi variabel paling dominan. Temuan ini dapat membantu pengembangan kebijakan kesehatan masyarakat dan program intervensi untuk mengurangi prevalensi penyakit berbasis lingkungan.
The presence of a landfill (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir or TPA) in a certain area can pose health risks tothe surrounding population. Poor management can result in water, air, and soil pollution from waste piles. This pollution has the potential to cause Environmentally Based Diseases such as Acute Respiratory Infections (ISPA), Diarrhea, Dengue Fever (DBD), and skin problems. This research aims to analyze the relationship between settlement environmental conditions, personal hygiene, and the occurrence of Environmentally Based Diseases around TPA Sungai Andok in Padang Panjang. The research methodology uses a cross-sectional approach with primary data obtained from interviews and observations. The analysis includes bivariate Chi Square and multivariate analysis using Binary Logistic Regression model prediction. A sample of 103 respondents was selected through Convenience sampling. The research results indicate that several settlement environmental variables such as ventilation area, natural lighting, house humidity, and house cleanliness are significantly associated with the occurrence of Environmentally Based Diseases (p<0.05). Personal hygiene variables such as skin cleanliness and hand hygiene also show a significant association with these diseases (p<0.05). Age, length of residence, house humidity, and skin cleanliness are identified as the most dominant variables associated with the occurrence of Environmentally Based Diseases in the community around TPA Sungai Andok. The conclusion of this research identifies a significant relationship between environmental factors in settlements and personal hygiene with environmentally based diseases around the TPA Sungai Andok area. Age, length of residence, humidity in the house, and skin hygiene emerge as the most dominant variables. These findings can contribute to the development of public health policies and intervention programs to reduce the prevalence of environmentally based diseases.

Abstrak:
Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh yang menyebabkan anak terlalu pendek untuk umurnya sebagai akibat dari kerkurangan gizi kronis. Stunting dapat diidentifikasi dengan menilai panjang atau tinggi badan anak sesuai umurnya dimana balita dikatakan stunting jika hasil penilaian tersebut memiliki Z score <-2 standar deviasi. Pada tahun 2023 prevalensi stunting Kota Depok mengalami kenaikan dari tahun sebelumnya. Stunting dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya higiene dan sanitasi masyarakat. Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM) merupakan program pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan higiene dan sanitasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara STBM dengan kejadian stunting di Kota Depok pada tahunn 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi ekologi dengan unit analisis 63 kelurahan di Kota Depok menggunakan data sekunder dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok. Analisis data dilakukan baik secara statistik menggunakan uji korelasi dan spasial menggunakan metode overlay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara capaian pilar 5 STBM Pengelolaan Limbah Cair Rumah Tangga dengan kejadian stunting di Kota Depok tahun 2023. Sementara, keempat pilar STBM lainnya tidak menunjukkan adanya hubungan dengan kejadian stunting di Kota Depok tahun 2023.

Stunting can be identified by assessing the length or height of a child according to his/her age where a child is said to be stunted if the assessment results have a Z score <-2 standard deviations. In 2023, the prevalence of stunting in Depok City increased from the previous year. Stunting is influenced by several factors, one of which is community hygiene and sanitation. Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) is a government program that aims to improve community hygiene and sanitation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between STBM and the incidence of stunting in Depok City in 2023. This study used ecological study design with an analysis unit of 63 sub-districts in Depok City using secondary data from the Depok City Health Office. Data analysis was carried out both statistically using correlation tests and spatially using the overlay method. Diare termasuk salah satu permasalahan kesehatan utama yang membutuhkan perhatian serius, terutama pada kelompok rentan seperti balita. Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan menjadi salah satu provinsi yang turut memberikan kontribusi terhadap angka kejadian diare nasional pada balita dengan prevalensi sebesar 5,9%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pengelolaan air rumah tangga dengan kejadian diare pada balita di wilayah perkotaan dan perdesaan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan menggunakan data Survei Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional dengan besar sampel 1.141 balita. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah distribusi frekuensi, uji chi-square, dan uji regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumber air minum memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian diare pada balita di wilayah perkotaan (p=0,049; OR=4,543). Sementara itu, sumber air bersih, pengolahan air minum, dan wadah penyimpanan air minum, status gizi, dan status imunisasi tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan, baik di wilayah perkotaan maupun perdesaan. Setelah dikontrol oleh status gizi dan status imunisasi, hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengelolaan air rumah tangga dengan kejadian diare pada balita. Variabel sumber air minum merupakan variabel yang paling mendekati signifikan, tetapi pada tahap pemodelan akhir tetap tidak bermakna secara statistik. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk tetap memperkuat upaya promotif dan preventif melalui peningkatan akses air minum aman, edukasi pengelolaan air rumah tangga, penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, serta pemantauan kesehatan balita secara berkelanjutan.
Diarrhea is one of the major health problems that requires serious attention, especially among vulnerable groups such as toddlers. South Kalimantan Province is one of the provinces contributing to the national burden of diarrhea among toddlers, with a prevalence of 5.9%. This study aimed to analyze the association between household water management and diarrhea incidence among toddlers in urban and rural areas of South Kalimantan Province using data from the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 1.141 toddlers. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, chi-square tests, and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that drinking water source was significantly associated with diarrhea incidence among toddlers in urban areas (p = 0,049; OR = 4,543). Meanwhile, clean water source, drinking water treatment, drinking water storage container, nutritional status, and immunization status were not significantly associated with diarrhea incidence in either urban or rural areas. After controlling for nutritional status and immunization status, there was no significant association between household water management and diarrhea incidence among toddlers. Drinking water source was the variable closest to statistical significance; however, it remained statistically insignificant in the final model. In conclusion, this study stated that there was no significant association between household water management and diarrhea incidence in toddlers. Therefore, promotive and preventive efforts should continue to be strengthened through improved access to safe drinking water, household water management education, promotion of clean and healthy living behaviors, and continuous monitoring of child health.

Escherichia coli merupakan bakteri yang umum digunakan sebagai parameter terkait cemaran tinja dan sanitasi. Keberadaan nitrat pada air juga menjadi salah satu indikator terkait sanitasi. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sanitasi dapat mempengaruhi konsentrasi TDS (Total Dissolve Solids) dalam air tanah. Adanya kandungan E .coli, nitrat, dan TDS berlebih dalam air tanah yang digunakan sebagai air minum rumah tangga dapat berdampak pada kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kondisi sanitasi rumah tangga dengan kualitas air minum rumah tangga bersumber air tanah berdasarkan parameter E .coli, nitrat, dan TDS. Kondisi sanitasi yang diteliti meliputi 7 aspek, yaitu sarana buang air besar, tempat pembuangan akhir tinja, jarak tempat pembuangan akhir tinja, tempat pembuangan sampah rumah tangga, jarak TPS/TPA terdekat, sarana pembuangan limbah cair rumah tangga, serta jarak sarana pembuangan limbah cair rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan metode cross sectional. Analisis dilakukan dengan uji univariat dan uji bivariat menggunakan uji chi square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 90%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara tempat pembuangan akhir tinja dengan kandungan TDS (p=0.086), tempat pembuangan sampah dengan cemaran E. coli (p=0.054), dan jarak TPS/TPA terdekat dengan kandungan TDS (p=0.061). Disarankan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk menganalisis lebih lanjut mengenai keterkaitannya dengan kesehatan.

This research uses secondary data with a cross sectional analysis method. The analysis was carried out with univariate test and bivariate test using chi square test with a confidence level of 90%. Hidrogen sulfida (H2S) merupakan gas penyumbang bau yang sangat menyengat dari proses bakteri timbunan sampah di TPA Cipeucang. Apabila konsentrasi gas H2S tersebut melebihi baku mutu dan terhirup oleh anak-anak maka akan berdampak langsung pada kesehatan anak-anak yang bermukim di Pemukiman TPA Cipeucang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi risiko kesehatan anak-anak akibat pajanan gas H2S. Untuk mengestimasi risiko kesehatan akibat pajanan inhalasi H2S, dilakukan analisis risiko kesehatan lingkungan pada anak-anak yang bermukim di pemukiman TPA Cipeucang. Konsentrasi H2S dianalisis menggunakan alat pompa hisap dan spektrofotometer air sampler (HVS). Sementara itu, sebanyak 69 responden diobservasi untuk dilakukan estimasi mengenai tingkat risiko kesehatan akibat pajanan H2S. Hasil uji laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi rata-rata H2S di pemukiman TPA Cipeucang telah melebihi baku mutu yaitu 0,024 ppm (baku mutu: 0,02 ppm). Nilai rata-rata CDI H2S pada anak-anak adalah 0,0025 mg/kg/hari. Nilai RQ pada anak-anak diatas >1 yaitu 1,28. Sementara gejala kesehatan pada beberapa responden menunjukan adanya gejala kelebihan asupan H2S, meskipun belum diketahui apakah gejala tersebut hanya disebabkan oleh H2S atau oleh risk agent lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pajanan H2S pada anakanak berisiko terhadap kesehatan karena RQ>1. Abstrak:
Latar Belakang: Pneumonia merupakan penyakit menular pada saluran pernapasan termasuk tiga besar penyakit penyebab mortalitas balita Indonesia pada 2019—2022. Kota Tangerang, bagian Provinsi Banten yang termasuk peringkat tiga nasional penemuan pneumonia balita tahun 2022, melaporkan 5247 kasus pneumonia balita di tahun yang sama berdasarkan Profil Dinas Kesehatan Kota Tangerang. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan cakupan rumah sehat, status gizi kurang, BBLR, pemberian ASI eksklusif, dan kepadatan penduduk terhadap pneumonia balita di Kota Tangerang tahun 2022. Metode: Studi ekologi dengan unit analisis 13 kecamatan. Data bulanan dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat (Korelasi Pearson dan Korelasi Spearman), dan multivariat (Regresi Linear Berganda). Hasil: Cakupan rumah sehat berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian pneumonia balita di 2 kecamatan, yaitu Karang Tengah (p-value = 0,036) dengan korelasi kuat negatif (r = -0,607) dan Batuceper (p-value = 0,013) dengan korelasi kuat positif (ρ = 0,689). Pemberian ASI eksklusif berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian pneumonia balita di Kecamatan Tangerang (p-value = 0,028) dengan korelasi kuat negatif (r = -0,629). Kepadatan penduduk berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian pneumonia balita 2 kecamatan, yaitu Karawaci (p-value = 0,045) dengan korelasi kuat positif (r = 0,586) dan Periuk (p-value = 0,015) dengan korelasi kuat positif (ρ = 0,681). Sementara itu, variabel yang tidak berhubungan signifikan (p-value >0,05) dengan kejadian pneumonia balita di seluruh kecamatan adalah status gizi kurang dan BBLR. Pengaruh terbesar kejadian pneumonia balita adalah cakupan rumah sehat di 2 kecamatan (Cipondoh dan Tangerang), status gizi kurang di 7 kecamatan (Ciledug, Karang Tengah, Pinang, Jatiuwung, Cibodas, Periuk, dan Batuceper), BBLR di 3 kecamatan (Larangan, Karawaci, dan Benda), dan kepadatan penduduk di Kecamatan Neglasari. Kesimpulan: Beberapa variabel berhubungan signifikan dan berkorelasi kuat dengan kejadian pneumonia balita, yakni cakupan rumah sehat di Karang Tengah (r = -0,607) dan Batuceper (ρ = 0,689), pemberian ASI eksklusif di Kecamatan Tangerang (r = -0,629), dan kepadatan penduduk di Karawaci (r = 0,586) dan Periuk (ρ = 0,681).

Tangerang City (part of Banten Province that ranked third nationally in under-five pneumonia cases in 2022) reported 5247 pneumonia cases on Profil Dinas Kesehatan Kota Tangerang’s publication. Penyakit diare masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan di Indonesia, termasuk di Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara proporsi rumah sehat, akses air minum layak, dan penggunaan jamban sehat dengan kejadian diare di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukadiri, Pakuhaji, dan Sukawali pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi ekologi dengan unit analisis desa/kelurahan. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tangerang dan masing-masing puskesmas. Analisis bivariat dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dan Spearman sesuai dengan hasil uji normalitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang lemah dan berarah positif antara proporsi rumah sehat dengan kejadian diare (ρ = 0,387; p = 0,075), serta hubungan yang lemah dan berarah negatif antara akses air minum layak (r = -0,276; p = 0,214) dan penggunaan jamban sehat (ρ = -0,334; p = 0,128) dengan kejadian diare. Ketiga hubungan tersebut tidak signifikan secara statistik. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun arah hubungan sebagian besar sejalan dengan teori, hubungan antara indikator lingkungan dan kejadian diare belum dapat dibuktikan secara signifikan di wilayah penelitian ini.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the proportion of healthy homes, access to safe drinking water, and the use of proper sanitation facilities with the incidence of diarrhea in the working areas of Sukadiri, Pakuhaji, and Sukawali Community Health Centers in 2023. This study employed an ecological study design with the unit of analysis being villages/sub-districts. The data used were secondary data obtained from the Tangerang District Health Office and respective health centers. Bivariate analysis was conducted using Pearson and Spearman correlation tests, based on the results of the normality test. The findings show a weak positive correlation between the proportion of healthy homes and the incidence of diarrhea (r = 0.387; p = 0.075), a weak negative correlation between access to safe drinking water (r = -0.276; p = 0.214), and a weak negative correlation between the use of proper sanitation facilities (r = -0.334; p = 0.128) with the incidence of diarrhea. All three correlations were found to be statistically insignificant. Although the direction of the relationship aligns with theoretical expectations, the relationship between environmental health indicators and the incidence of diarrhea could not be statistically confirmed in the study area.
