The observational result indicated there are influence on chronic malnutrition risk on pregnancy, ANC and mother age to LBW. The most dominant factor which is influence to LBW is chronic malnutrition risk on pregnancy with odds ratio 4,8 (95% Cl 2,48 - 9,42), it's mean is pregnancy with chronic malnutrition will face the risk 4,8 times to LBW compare to pregnancy with out risk chronic malnutrition after ANC and mother age controlled To avoid and settles chronic malnutrition risk on pregnancy which is expected could to reduce LBW and presses infant mortality. This study aims to obtain a determinant of the intention to use contraception in unmarried men aged 15-24 years in urban and rural areas of Indonesia. Design of this research is a cross sectional. Data were analyzed using logistic regression. Results: The proportion that expressed a intention to use contraception in the future was 76% in urban and 71.2% in rural areas. Determinant of the intention to use contraception in urban areas are influenced by the highest level of education, exposure to information preventing pregnancy from school, exposure to information preventing pregnancy from television, knowledge related to preventing pregnancy, attitudes toward condoms, perception of the ideal age of having a first child, perception of the ideal number of children. The perception of the ideal number of children is the dominant factor for intention to use contraception in urban areas, while in rural areas attitudes toward condoms are the dominant factor for intention to use contraception.
This study was motivated by differences in the proportion of Low Birth Weight (LBW) cases based on the level of iron supplementation consumption. LBW incidence was found to be higher among pregnant women who did not consume iron supplementation according to recommendations, raising the assumption that there may be a relationship between supplementation consumption and infant birth weight. However, several previous studies have shown inconsistent results regarding this association. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between iron supplementation consumption during pregnancy and infant birth weight. The study used a cross-sectional design with a secondary data analysis approach, utilizing data from the 2023 Indonesia Health Survey. The sample included 51,797 mothers who had delivered a live baby in the past five years and were recorded as having received or purchased iron supplementation during pregnancy. The average birth weight of the infants was 3,101 grams, while the average TTD consumption among pregnant women was 70 tablets, still below the government's recommended amount. The analysis results showed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.007 and a p-value of 0.126, indicating no significant relationship between iron supplementation consumption and infant birth weight. Other variables such as health insurance ownership and exposure to cigarette smoke also showed no significant relationship. However, factors such as maternal education, parity, place of residence, pregnancy risk, ANC visits, and gestational age at first TTD intake showed significant associations.

Including postpartum depression as maternal mental health issue. This study aims to analyze the relationship of postpartum depression with exclusively breastfeeding in infants (0-5 months) in Indonesia. The sample of this study was women aged 15-49 years with infants aged 0-5 months in Indonesia, totaling 2332 people. Result : Bivariate analysis with Chi Square test was found that the relationship of postpartum depression towards exclusive breastfeeding was not significant with p value 0.911 (OR 0.946, 95% CI : 0.355-2.522). While the multivariate test results obtained maternal age, work status, residence and early initiation breastfeeding status (p value <0.05) with each OR respectively 0.770 (95% CI 0.588-1.008), 0.766 (95% CI 0.602-0.976), 0.671 (95% CI 0.537-0.837), and 0.568 (95% CI 0.443-0.728) as the confounding variables. This study concludes that a need to evaluate the EIBF and exclusive breastfeeding program and maternal mental health problems screening during the postpartum period.
