Background: Patient dissatisfaction with long waiting times is one consequence of an inefficient service delivery system. Long waiting times have a significant correlation with patient satisfaction levels. Excessive waiting can lead to boredom and fatigue, which diminishes satisfaction with the provided services. Objective: This study aims to analyze waiting times and the factors associated with prescription service waiting times at the Outpatient Pharmacy Installation of Hermina General Hospital Depok. Research Methodology: This study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods. Data on waiting times and prescriptions were collected through observations of prescription service workflows and officer interview in the outpatient pharmacy. Results: The findings indicate that the waiting time for non-compounded (patent) drug prescriptions still does not meet the established standard due to the high number of drug items per prescription. Prescription backlogs and delays in dispensing completed medications frequently occur. Factors related to prescription service waiting times in this study include patient status, prescription type, number of drug items, shift schedules, and human resources. Inefficient human resources distribution across shifts contributes to prolonged waiting times in each prescription service workflow. The most dominant factor affecting prescription service waiting times is human resources . Proper human resources allocation across shifts, particularly during peak days, can help reduce excessive waiting times.

Data were obtained through interviews, field observations, consisted of doctors, nurses, management, health staff and administrative officers. Questionnaires for patients using the Likert Scale (very satisfied, satisfied, dissatisfied, very dissatisfied)with the aim of measuring satisfaction with the use of the digital. MCU system based on the Design Thinking approach.Research result: Users and doctors support the AI-based digital MCU system to speed up the process and improve accuracy, although direct physical examinations are still needed, with patient surveys showing high satisfaction but still needing improvement in speed and ease of use.
The increasing number of BPJS patients affects the length of service time in the outpatient installation of BPJS at Hermina Bekasi Hospital. Issues affecting the length of outpatient service can be identified by knowing all business processes in the service process using the Lean Six Sigma method. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive design with stages of DMAIC Define, Measure, Analize, Improve, and Control. The results of this study suggest that during the service process, the average length of service process is 200 minutes with a percentage of valuable activities value added of 17 and NVA activity of 83. The largest waste is waiting in the transfer of each stage in the service. Causes of long waiting time include lack of availability of human resources, hospital information systems that have not been integrated, and facilities and infrastructure that have not been adequate. The research also proposed improvements in the form of integrated information system application for registration process, improvement of work environment using 5 S method, proposed SPO making for doctors, room layout changes in pharmacy depot, and installing schedule of drug taking hours. Keywords Waiting time outpatient services lean six sigma.
