ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat pemenuhan terhadap implementasi prosedur tentang bekerja di ketinggian PT. Balfour Beatty Sakti Indonesia (WTC2 Project) tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian potong lintang atau cross sectional yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat implementasi prosedur bekerja di ketinggian dan mengidentifikasi prosedur yang tidak terimplementasi bagi pekerja di ketinggian. Penelitian menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 106 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner, wawancara terstruktur dengan informan, lembar observasi dan menggunakan telaah dokumen yang ada. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS untuk kuantitatif dengan menormalisasikan dengan rumus De Boer dan mstriks, table untuk data kualitatif serta dipresentasikan dengan traffic light system. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi prosedur bekerja di ketinggian dalam variable tanggung jawab 60% dan variable prosedur kerja 47% sehingga tingkat implementasi prosedur bekerja di ketinggian sebesar 53,5% dalam kategori Merah dan data kecelakaan tahun 2012 dalam kategori Kuning. Tingkat implementasi prosedur bekerja di ketinggian di tabel tingkat implementasi dan tingkat kecelakaan termasuk dalam level 5 ( berbahaya ). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa prosedur bekerja di ketinggian tidak terimplementasi dengan baik yaitu level 5 (berbahaya) di PT.BBS Indonesia. PT. BBS Indonesia perlu mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap program yang prosedur bekerja di ketinggian. Melalui kegiatan evaluasi terhadap kepala departemen, melakukan perencanaan, pendataan dan pelaporan pelatihan untuk manajemen, pengawas dan pekerja, perencanaan dan pelaporan inspeksi peralatan dan area kerja.
ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate the level of compliance with the implementation of working at heights procedures for PT. Balfour Beatty Sakti Indonesia (WTC2 Project) in 2012. This study uses quantitative and qualitative approaches to the design of a cross-sectional studies conducted to determine the level of implementation of working at heights procedures and identify procedures that are not implemented for workers at height. The research uses total sampling with a sample of as many as 106 people. The data was collected by questionnaires, structured interviews with informants, observation sheets and use the existing document review. Processing the data in this study using SPSS for quantitative formula with normalizing with De Boer and matriks, table for qualitative data and was presented with a traffic light system. From the study results showed that the implementation of work at height procedures 60% in a variable responsibility and 47% in variable working procedures. So that the level implementation of working at height procedures is 53.5% in the red category and Accident data in 2012 is in the Yellow category. Level of implementation of working at procedures in the level implementation working at height procedures table and the accident rate is in level 5 (dangerous). Can be concluded that the works at a height procedure in PT.BBS Indonesia is not properly implemented because in level 5 (dangerous). PT. BBS Indonesia needs to evaluate and improve the monitoring program and standard of working at height according procedures. Through the evaluation of department heads, planning, data collection and reporting of training to management, supervisors and workers, planning and reporting of inspection equipment and work area.
Working at heights is a high-risk activity. Falls from heights accounted for 38% of the 105,182 work accidents in the construction sector. In 2020 and 2021, PT.X had two falls from a height. Organizational influence is the biggest contributor in both cases. This study discusses in depth the analysis of work accidents at the height that occurred at PT.X in 2020-2021 using human factors aspects. In the accident analysis, one of the theories of human factors will be used, namely the Swiss Cheese Model with derivative tools, namely Human Factors Analysis and Classification. The research method used is a case study using secondary data and interviews with PT.X. The use of human factors aspects in accidents at work will find latent conditions and active failures that can be contributing factors to accidents. Latent conditions found include lack of management awareness in enforcing safety aspects, unavailability of optimal safety support facilities, and others. While active conditions that contribute include lack of knowledge and training of workers about hazards and controls in the workplace, violation of work rules, and others. Researchers suggest PT.X make improvements to the factors that contribute to the incidence of accidents, especially at the management and organizational levels.
Construction sector is one of the most dangerous sector in the world, due to high number of accident and fatality rates due to work. One of the work processes that has the highest risk of causing an accident or death is excavation work. This can happen because excavation work will change the soil structure and affect soil stability. The biggest risk that may occur is the collapse of excavated soil or cave in, which is caused due to lack of available or inadequate control that are prepared before the work is done, so the accident can not be avoided. This research is a systematic literature review study with a qualitative approach, which is carried out to review, as well as gain knowledge about control that can be done to control soil stability in construction sector. The object of this research is a soil stability control in construction sector, which has the scope on the type, impact or effect, and method of the control. A systematic literature review was carried out through the process of identifying literature, extracting literature, and synthesis of literature from 11 (eleven) selected literature. The results showed that to control soil stability and reduce the risk of cave in can be done by using several methods such as, sloping & benching to minimize pressure or lateral forces on the soil or excavation walls, trench box to protect workers if cave in occured, shoring to provide support to the soil or excavation walls and utilizing the nature of soil to remain bonded with each other, binder materials & grouting to improve the characteristics of soil (ground improvement), and soil drainage system to reduce water content in the soil which will affect soil stability. The researcher concludes that some of this methods have their own limitations and characteristics, so in order to reduce the risk of cave in, one method can be combined with other methods.

This study discusses the safety risk assessment in construction work atheight in Project Bogor Valley Residence & Hotel PT. X 2014. Risk assessment isfocused to the risk that will be experienced by workers on the job, especially atthe height of finishing, namely: painting by using the gondola, the installation ofrailing at the edge of the building up to a height of 20 floors, billboards usingscaffholding, and Passenger hoist.Risk assessment is done by analyzing the probable value, exposure andconsequences of each phase of the work which is then compared to the standardsemi-quantitative risk level W.T Fine. J to determine the level of risk involved ineach stage of the production process. The study was a descriptive analytic studyusing semi-quantitative method AS/NZS 4360:2004. Design research is anobservational cross-sectional approach. The collection of data obtained fromobservations and interviews. The study states that the level of risk in work atheight includes very high level, priority 1 level, substantial level, priority 3 levelandacceptable level.Keywords:AS/NZS 4360:2004, risk assessment, construction, work at height.

This study describes risk assessment of occupational health and safety on working at height activities in Leighton-Total Joint Operation (LTJO) year 2015. This study refers to AS/NZS 4360:2004 standard with semi-quantitative analysis, and mathematic method from W.T. Fine. The result of this study shows that activities at height in LTJO have 86 occupational health and safety risks. At the level of existing risk, there are 1 risk categorized as very high, which means activity should be stopped until risk reduced to the safe limit, which is the risk of falling from height within the scaffold dismantling activity.
