Latar belakang: Penggunaan komputer dapat menimbulkan suatu keluhan kesehatan yang disebut dengan Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), Sindrom ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor risiko individual, lingkungan dan komputer.
Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor resiko ergonomik individual dan komputer yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) pada pekerja pengguna komputer yang berkacamata dan pekerja yang tidak berkacamata.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian metode kualitatatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April - Mei 2013 di Unit Pelakasana dan Pelatihan. Sampel sebanyak 18 orang dengan kriteria tertentu, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok pekerja berkacamata dan pekerja yang tidak berkacamata. Peneliltian dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung menggunakan kuesioner dan pengukuran.
Hasil: Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian CVS adalah Kelembaban 71%, Pencahayaan kurang dari 300-500 lux (KEPMENKES nomor 1405/Menkes/SK/XI/2002), Usia lebih dari 40 tahun (das et al.), lama bekerja dengan komputer, dan jarak komputer dengan mata.
Kesimpulan: Gejala ekstraokuler pada pekerja pengguna kacamata bifocal melakukan retrofleksi leher sehingga leher tertekuk kebelakang yang menyebabkan keluhan nyeri pada leher. Penderita terbanyak bukan dari pengguna kacamata tetapi pada pekerja yang tidak berkacamata. Serta penderita CVS (berdasarkan kriteria anamnesa) di usia 25 tahun, kedua hal ini berkaitan dengan potur ergonomi pada saat kerja baik secara design tempat kerja, kondisi ruangan ataupun durasi kerja yang semuanya saling berkaitan sehingga menimbulkan gejala Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).
Background: Computer usage could cause health complaints called Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). This syndrome was influenced by individual and computer risk factors.
Aim: The objective of the study is to identify and to analyze individual and computer factors of computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).
Methods: This study was an observational study with methods qualitatively. The research was conducted in April-May 2013 in the Pelakasana and Training Unit. Sample of 18 people with certain criteria, divided into 2 groups of workers and workers who are not wearing glasses glasses. Peneliltian done by direct interviews using questionnaires and measurements.
Results: Factors associated with the incidence of CVS is Humidity 71%, less than the 300-500 lux lighting (KEPMENKES 1405/Menkes/SK/XI/2002), age over 40 years (das et al.), Long working computers, and computer distance by eye.
Conclusion: Extraocular symptoms in workers bifocal glasses users do retrofleksi neck so the neck is bent backwards which causes pain in the neck. Most patients but not from users goggles to workers who do not wear glasses. And people with CVS (based on criteria anamnesis) at the age of 25 years, these two things related to ergonomic posture at work both in design work, ambient conditions or duration of action that are all intertwined, giving rise to symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).
Workers who use computers at risk of suffering from complaints ComputerVision Syndrome (CVS). Complaints CVS can cause discomfort anddecreased work productivity. The purpose of this study is to clarify thepicture of CVS risk factors consisting of individual factors, environmentalfactors, factors computer and work process factors in workers who use acomputer at PT. Sukabumi Trading Coy. This type of research is descriptivethat describes the risk factors in 15 respondents. The results showed 60% ofrespondents suffer from CVS, 83.3% of women suffer from CVSrespondents, 75% of respondents make use of glasses suffer CVS, 50% ofrespondents who use computers are not appropriate distance suffers CVSand 53.85% of respondents who have a work desk lighting levels CVSincompatible suffer. Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) is a group of symptoms that are often experiencedby computer users and it is influenced by various factors: personal, computer,duration, and environmental factors or combination of these factors. This descriptivestudy aims to determine the distribution and frequency of CVS risk factors in PPSIemployee at Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia ( UI ). The designof this study is cross-sectional and involved 26 employees as respondent. The datawere collected by questionnaires, interviews, observation, and direct measurement.The results showed that 84.6 % respondents get CVS complaint with the mostcomplaints are eyestrain (73.1 %), fatigue (65.4 %), shoulder and back pain (57.7 %)in work area with light levels <300 lux. Improve the level of lighting in the workarea, correct the vision error with a proper lens, and improve sitting posture whileworking with computer may help to reduce the CVS symptoms.Keyword: Computer vision syndrome, CVS, PPSI employee
Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of some risk factors such as high level of glucose and triglyceride, low level of High Density Lipid (HDL), central obesity, and hypertension. Someone who suffers from metabolic syndrome has higher risk to get chronic disease like cardiovascular disease and diabetes melitus type 2 in the future. As per Medical Check Up result of Oil and Gas Company X workers in 2014, found that dyslipidemia up to 69,4%, obesity 14,8%, overweight 33,17%, diabetes 8,7%. Furthermore, based on observation, office workers of Oil and Gas Company X tend to have sedentary life style since they spent most of their time at office to sit for doing some administrative task and often consume high fat food. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyze the risk factors that associate with metabolik syndrome on Head Office Workers of Oil and Gas Company X using cross sectional design study. The result of this study foud that prevalence of metabolik syndrome on Head Office Workers of Oil and Gas Company X is 25%. The independent variables that were significant with metabolic syndrome were animal protein diet (p value = 0.016), fat diet (p value = 0.037), body mass index (p value= 0,001), physical activity (p value = 0.010), and sedentary lifestyle (p value = 0.030) and smoking (p value= 0,037). Therefore, it is necessary to create strategy in order to provide knowledge and information regarding a balanced diet and increase the willingness of workers to do sufficient and regular physical activity and stop smoking to maintain ideal body weight, having a healthy life style and prevent chronic disase caused by metabolik syndrome
