The focus of this study is all Forensic Technicians and Pathology AnatomyTechnicians in Cianjur Hospital and all Forensic Technicians in Funeral HomeBandung who has a type of works related to the use of formaldehyde. The purposeof this study was to evaluate how the exposure to formaldehyde in the room andthe personal and irritating effects that they feel. After knowing the results couldspur workers and hospital or company in order to prevent the occurrence ofadverse health effects due to exposure to formaldehyde. The study design wascross sectional approach. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews,observation and measurement. Sumber daya manusia merupakan komponen paling penting dalam pelayanan rumah sakit. Manajemen profesional sangat dibutuhkan untuk menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam memberikan pelayanan rumah sakit yang berkualitas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah optimal kebutuhan tenaga keperawatan di Ruang Perawatan Anak Rumah Sakit Grha Permata Ibu Tahun 2012. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian gabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh aktivitas yang dilakukan perawat. Metoda pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi waktu, work sampling dan wawancara mendalam. Hasilnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan metoda Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) dan menggunakan formula perhitungan kebutuhan perawat berdasarkan tingkat ketergantungan pasien. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan waktu produktif terhadap waktu kerja adalah 75,99 %. Sebanyak 41,57 % digunakan untuk melakukan aktivitas langsung keperawatan dan 34,42 % digunakan untuk aktivitas keperawatan tidak langsung. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tenaga keperawatan sudah produktif menggunakan waktu yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan metode WISN hanya dibutuhkan 11 tenaga keperawatan sedangkan menurut tingkat ketergantungan pasien membutuhkan 10 perawat. Jumlah optimal kebutuhan tenaga keperawatan yang dibutuhkan di Ruang Perawatan Anak Rumah Sakit Grha Permata Ibu sebanyak 10 -11 orang tenaga keperawatan. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya kelebihan jumlah tenaga keperawatan di Ruang Perawatan Anak Rumah Sakit Grha Permata Ibu sebanyak 1-2 orang. The most important components in the hospital services are human resources. Professional management is needed to determine the type as well as the quality of the human resources to assure the quality of hospital services. This research aimed to finding out the optimal number of nursing staff needed in Children Ward at Grha Permata Ibu Hospital 2012. This is a mixed method research. The population of this research is the amount of activities has been done by nursing staff. The method of data collection was time observation, work sampling and indepth interview. The data were analyzed using Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) method and calculation formula of nurses based on clients dependence level. The analysis showed that nursing staff using time productively 75,99 % of the total activities time, 41,57 % is used for direct activities and 34,42 % is used for indirect activities. It was concluded that the nursing staff already productive using the activities time. Based on theWISN method, only eleven people of nursing staff are needed. Total nursing staff demand based on clients dependence level is ten nursing staff. The optimal number of nursing staff needed in Children Ward at Grha Permata Ibu Hospital is ten until eleven people. It means that there are an excessive number of nursing staff i.e. one until two people. Key Word : Nursing Staff demand , WISN Method, dependence level
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidaklangsung serta besarannya antara kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, danorganizational citizenship behavior (OCB) terhadap kuaitas layanan perawat diRSUD dr. H Abdul Moloek Provinsi Lampung. Metode penelitian adalahobservasional dengan rancangan cross sectional melalui analisis SEM-PLS. Populasinya adalah seluruh tenaga perawat yang bekerja di RSUD dr.H AbdulMoloek sebanyak 555 orang.
Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah perawat yangbekerja di bagian rawat inap sebanyak 90 orang (rule of thumb)Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada pengaruh langsung antara kepuasan kerjaterhadap kualitas layanan perawat sebesar 11,46%, ada pengaruh langsungkomitmen organisasi terhadap kualitas layanan perawat sebesar 38,09%, adapengaruh langsung antara OCB terhadap kualitas layanan perawat sebesar30,46%, ada pengaruh langsung komitmen organisasi terhadap OCB sebesar61,34%, ada pengaruh langsung kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasisebesar 57,6%, dan pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap OCB adalah bersifat tidaklangsung, yaitu melalui mediasi komitmen organisasi yaitu sebesar 17,65%.
Penulis menyarankan agar pihak manajemen rumah sakit selalu menjagaserta meningkatkan komitmen organisasi perawat yang memiliki pengaruhterbesar terhadap kualitas layanan, selain itu perlu memperhatikan perilaku OCBpada perawat sehingga diharapkan perilaku ini dapat menjadi suatu budayaorganisasi yang akan berdampak positif bagi mutu pelayanan di RSUD dr.HAbdul Moloek Provinsi Lampung.Kata Kunci :Kualitas Layanan, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), KomitmenOrganisasi, Kepuasan Kerja, SEM-PLS.
All activities undertaken in providing health care put health workers atOccupational Health and Safety risk, including nurses. One of the accidents that cancause injury, illness and even death from blood-borne infections is Needle Stick andSharp Injuries (NSSI). NSSI incidence and factor associated with NSSI at IndonesianRed Cross Hospital nurses have not been recorded properly. A cross-sectional studywas conducted, using questionnaire as an instrument to collect data. The samplingtechnique in this study used total sampling method, which was all nurses working inInpatient, Emergency and Surgical Installation. A total of 216 nurses were accepted forinclusion. Results showed that the incidence of NSSI in the last 1 year was 49.5%, withthe most common cause was glass ampoule cap (49.5%) and the most frequentlyreported circumstances of NSSI was breaking the glass ampule cap (48.6%). There wasno statistically significant association between experience, training, unsafe acts andunsafe conditions with NSSI. There was statistically significant association betweenknowledge with NSSI. To prevent the occurrence of NSSI it is necessary to increasethe knowledge of nurses, promotion and integrated reporting of occupational accident,followed by surveillance.Key words:Knowledge; Needle-stick and Sharp Injuries; nurse
