Status stunting dinilai berdasarkan Z-score TB/U menurut klasifikasi WHO.
ABSTRACT
Stunting or short stature is a ?hidden tragedy? and its impact causes disorder to a irreversible child?s development. The aim of this study were to determine the dominant factor of stunting among children aged 24-59 months at Harapan Mulya sub-district in Bekasi city 2013. Design was a cross sectional study on 143 children whom chosen by simple random sampling. Status of stunting were expressed by height for age z-score (HAZ) according to the WHO classification. Children?s height were measured using microtoise, body weight was measured with digital scales, nutrients intake (energy, protein, vitamin A and zink) were collected throught semiquantitative FFQ. Breastfeeding, birthweight, infection disease, education of father and mother and economic status were collected through interview.
The analysis result showed 32,9% children aged 24-59 months were stunting. Chi-square test showed birthweight , energy and protein intake, zinc intake, father education and economic status were significant correlate with stunting. Logistic regression analysis showed birthweight variable as a dominant factor which related to stunting after being controlled by father education and energy input (p=0,003;OR=6,663;CI=1,8723,5). Suggestion for deterrence of stunting is the regular pregnancy inspection, giving nutritious wellbalanced under five years food input as according to AKG suggested, preparing good nutrient and health status for woman adolescent before pregnancy.

One of the factors is breastfeeding up to two years which canhave big influence to the human resource. Maximal breastfeeding is breastfeeding up totwo years. Breastfeeding up to two years can increase the intelligence quotient (IQ) ofthe children and improve the quality of the children, therefore breastfeeding up to twoyears is important to the children. The aim of this study was to determine the mostdominant factor in breastfeeding up to two years in Cimalaka sub-district, SumedangDistrict. The study design was cross sectional. The study sample consisted of motherswho have children 24-59 months (N = 310). This research was conducted in February-March 2018. The method sampling was purposive sampling, from 14 villages selected 7villages and then select the sample by using random sampling method. The resultsshowed that there were three factors that affect breastfeeding up to two years, i.e.education (p value 0.05), socioeconomic (p value 0.043), and history of exclusivebreastfeeding until six months (p value 0.023).Keywords:Breastfeeding, Breastfeeding up to two years, Children 24-59 months.
Nutrition is an essential part of health and human development. Indonesia, not to achieve the MDG's targets malnutrition <15.5% ie 17.9% in 2010. While LBW is one of the main variables in infants causes of malnutrition prevalence of 11.5%. Research conducted on children aged 24-59 months with the use of secondary data and the Health Research Association 2010 cross-sectional study design. The number of samples in this study were 10122 respondents. Data analysis using Cox regression method (complex sample). The results showed that after controlling sex, maternal education, socioeconomic level, and type of area, with a history of LBW children had a prevalence of 1.77 times the malnourished than children of normal birth in infants with adequate energy intake (PRadj = 1.77, 95% CI: 1.32 to 2.37) and in children with less energy intake, adequate protein, and less protein each 1.55 (95% CI: 1,27 to 1,89), 1.51 (95% CI: 1.22 to 1.86), and 1.85 (95% CI: 1.40-2.43).
