Obstructive, Restrictive and Mixed Obstructive-Restrictive Pulmonary function disturbances is a lung decreased capacity due to the accumulation of dust which causing the decline and airway blockage and the narrowing of pulmonary tract that interfere with the respiratory tract and lung tissue damage. This disease can occur to the workers in an environment polluted by chemical fumes or dust which may increase the risk of Obstructive, Restrictive and Mixed Obstructive-Restrictive pulmonary disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of dust concentration (TSP) in the working room with the Pulmonary function disturbances of the workers of PT. KS in year 2010. This study is using survey research methods which is a research carried out without an intervention to the research subjects or non experimental. This study is an analytic study that aims to explain a condition or a situation with a cross sectional survey design. The observed variables are the Dust Concentration (TSP)of the rooms, Age, length of work, smoking habits, history of pulmonary disease, exercise habits and customs of the use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). The type of data used are primary and secondary data, and the data collection is using questionnaires and interviews. The analysis of the data used is by univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis.
The results showed that there was a significant relationship between smoking habits and the use of PPE with lung function disturbances with a value of p respectively p = 0.000 and p = 0.003. While the dust concentration, age, length of work, medical history and exercise habits showed no significant relationship. The results of logistic regression analysis of 2 (two) variables i.e smoking and not using PPE, that is smoking habits have 5 times the risk of having lung function disturbances and do not use PPE have 3.71 times the risk of getting lung function impairment compared with ones who use PPE. Suggestion, in the future there should be an integrated system that can unify the workers' health examination data, air quality data in the working environment of each unit of work, ambient air quality data and data quality of air emissions so that the analysis and evaluation of health conditions of workers can produce more accurate conclusions for the selection and the use of proper PPE.
The existence of landfill can be a source of manganese (Mn) pollutants in the environment. Mn can cause toxic for kidney if excessive intake. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Mn concentrations in ground water with kidney function disorders in the people living around the Cipayung Landfill. The research was a cross sectional study with 104 respondents which included Cipayung and Pasir Putih village. Kidney function disorders was determined by the level of proteinuria or hematuria determined by the semi-quantitative dipstick method. While the Mn measurements used SNI 6989.5: 2009. The results showed that Mn levels of ground water at 9 (13,6%) sampling points exceeded drinking water quality standards and 17 people (16.3%) showed changes in kidney function. Mn concentration were between 0.06 mg / L-0.84 mg /L. There was no relationship between Mn concentration in ground water with kidney function disorders. While risk factors for hypertension and obesity had a significant relationship with kidney function disorders (OR 4.20; 95%; CI: 1.27-13.84;
OR 3.64; 95%; CI: 1.10-12.07). The conclusions of this study is risk factors for hypertension and obesity have a significant relationship with kidney function disorders.
Most of the auto industry still use paint thinner containing VOCs (consisting of benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.). Health effects of VOCs include irritation of the nose and throat and impaired lung function (Ismail, 2011). Exposure paint thinner to workers continuously can cause respiratory irritation and lung function impairment in workers. This study is a cross-sectional study aimed to determine the relationship between exposure of thinner with impaired lung function after controlled confounding variable on painting workers in the automotive industry. After controlled by using mask variable, smoking behavior and exposure to a little thinner plus other chemicals, known that the risk for the paired exposed of thinner to suffer lung problems was 1.87 (95% CI = 0.74 to 4.71). In workers exposed to thinner at risk for developing impaired lung function of 3.23 (95% CI = 1.36 to 7.59). Greater and greater exposure to paint thinner, the risk for developing lung problems is higher. Based on the findings, it is recommended that companies conduct health promotion efforts to minimize the risk of impaired lung function in painting workers.

Air pollution from the transportation, industrial and domestic activities are problems forpublic health in Indonesia. Cement processing releases many particulates in the air, evenwith transport activities for its distribution. According to data obtained from the annualreport of Klapanunggal Puskesmas from 2016-2018, most respiratory diseases are in thevillages around the cement industry. This study aims to analyze the correlation of PM2.5concentration in household with impaired lung function among housewife aroundcement industry area, Klapanunggal sub-district. This study used a cross-sectional studyconducted in April-May 2018. The sample size is 97 housewives aged 20-55 years.Measurement of PM2.5 concentration was done by using Haz-Dust EPAM 5000 andpulmonary function measurement was done by spirometry test using spirometer tool.The results showed that the average concentration of PM2.5 in the house air was 70.51μg/m3. All samples had impaired restrictive lung function and 8.2% of them hadimpaired obstructive lung function. The result of bivariate analysis showed that therewas no significant correlation between PM2.5 concentration with restrictive lungfunction disorder in housewife in Kecamatan Klapanunggal with p value = 0,199.Monitoring and counseling needs to be done to the public about how to maintain thequality of house air as well as working with local universities or environmental healthagencies and seek fo regular lung function checks for the community.

The aim of this research is to study the factors that influence aging successfully and develop a model of supported health care for pre-elderly in Indonesia. This research has the benefit of supporting successful aging and supporting the need for well-supported health for pre-elderly. Aging is successfully measured by three criteria, namely physical function, cognitive capacity and mental health. Pre-elderly is categorized as successful aging if it meets these three criteria. Mixed Method Study by asking for sequential explanations. Data using cross sectional, sourced from the 4th Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) in 2007 and the 5th IFLS in 2014 to see changes over the past 7 years. Samples taken in IFLS 4 were 4011 pre-elderly and IFLS 5 were 1865 elderly. Meanwhile, qualitative data from in-depth interviews with two informants. The results showed the relationship between physical function and aging was successful with a p value of 0.046 and OR 0.116 (CI95% 0.0014-0.967), cognitive capacity increased to success with a p value of 0.0005, OR value of 1.540 (95% CI 1.351-1.756) , and mental health also has an effect on successful aging with p values of 0.015, OR 0.070 (CI95% 0.004-1.125). The proportion of successful aging in IFLS 5 in 2014 was 95.1% greater than IFLS 4 in 2007 which was 85.8%. Evidently, successful aging is mostly found in the elderly. Qualitative data is needed in the development of health services aimed at pre-elderly people, promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative efforts are needed. Therefore it is important for elderly to be facilitated access to health services that are supported by maximizing services in nursing homes, the use of elderly posyandu, and holistic preelderly preparation
