Antiretroviral therapy suppresses HIV replication, prevent mobility and mortality. Treatment adherence is needed to achieve therapeutic success, prevent antiretroviral drug resistance and the risk of HIV transmission in the community. This study aims to determine the factors that associated with the adherent of antiretroviral drug treatment of HIV / AIDS patients in four hospitals in Jakarta in 2018-2019. This study was an observational study with a cross sectional design from the baseline data of INAPROACTIVE study (secondary data) from 666 people living with HIV. Treatment compliance was measured by self-report. Data were analyzed using cox proportional hazard regression with STATA12 software. The results showed the proportion of nonadherent by 17.9%, Analysis of determinant factors for compliance with treatment in this study using multivariate cox regression analysis and the magnitude of the effect was expressed in the prevalence ratio (PR) with 95% confidence interval (CI). Our study showed a proportion of ARV treatment adherence ≥ 95% showed 82.1%. This study showed that the socio-demographic factors associated with ARV treatment adherence among people living with HIV who received ARV therapy were gender, age, marital status and HIV transmission route. Clinical factors that have a relationship with adherence of ARV were the variable history of opportunistic infection syphilis and CD4 value. Treatment factors that have a relationship with adherence of ARV were the variable type of ARV regiment and duration of ARV treatment. All these variables were not statistially significant effect with p value > 0.05.

The treatment behavior in this study is the behavior of ODHA in taking ARV drugs, starting from taking ARV in health services to their consumption. The use ofantiretrovirals requires ODHA to comply and carry out their treatment regularly.Few violations of the provisions for taking these drugs can cause a failure of thetreatment process and trigger resistance. In Indonesia, the incidence of ARVtreatment failure is still high due to poor adherence to treatment. Until September2014, there were 38,399 people who stopped taking ARV treatment and were notfollowed up. The purpose of this study was to obtain an in-depth picture of thetreatment behavior of the ODHA of Kotex Mandiri Foundation relating toknowledge, self efficacy, history of drug side effects, access to health services, experience of getting stigma and discrimination in health services, support of healthworkers, and group support. This research is a type of qualitative research usingcase study design. The method used is in-depth interviews and document review. The results showed that most ODHA in Kotex Mandiri Foundation had goodknowledge about HIV, modes of transmission, and ARV treatment, had high selfefficacy, experienced a history of drug side effects such as nausea, fever, rashes, but could be treated well and does not cause drug breaking behavior, gets access tohealth services very easily, does not experience stigma and discrimination in healthservices where he is treated, gets support from health workers, and groups (family, friends and NGOs). The existence of a mentoring program from Kotex MandiriFoundation in health services has had an impact such as increasing the knowledgeand motivation of ODHA treatment.

The result showed 59.6% health center providers had positive attitude toward PLWH. Only one factor was significant related to attitude of health center providers toward PLWH with p=0.16 (OR: 4.827, 95% CI: 1.343-17.349). Meaning, there was 4.8 chance for health center providers who had helped PLWH having positive attitude toward PLWH compared with those who never helped PLWH.
