The high prevalence of cervical cancer is a global health problem. It causes hundreds of thousands of deaths among women every year worldwide. With an estimated 570,000 cases and 311,000 deaths in 2018 worldwide, the disease is the fourth most frequently diagnosed cancer and the fourth leading cause of cancer death in women. Early diagnosis and screening in women can improve treatment success and women's survival. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the participation of women in Indonesia to perform early detection of cervical cancer. This study uses secondary data from IFLS V using a cross-sectional design with 29,220 respondents who are married women. The results show that the proportion of women who do early detection of cervical cancer or Pap smear as much as 22.99% is still very low compared to the target. Variables related to the participation of women in Indonesia for early detection of cervical cancer are disease history, parity, age, age at first marriage, education, distance to health facilities and health insurance. The most dominant variable that predicts women to do cervical cancer screening is age at first marriage with POR 2.4 with 95% CI 1.606-1.843. Socialization and health education are needed so that women are willing to delay the age of first marriage
Cervical cancer is still a serious problem for all women in the world. WHO recorded 36,633 cases or 9.2% of the total cancer cases Spending on health funds is limited, so it must pay more attention to promotive and preventive programs. WHO recommends that women do cervical cancer screening consisting of pap smears, IVA tests, and HPV-DNA tests. But the financial barriers faced due to the high cost of cervical cancer screening have been a problem until now. This study aims to determine the financing scheme for cervical cancer screening in various countries, the method used in this study is literature review. Search studies using online databases in the form of PubMed, ProQuest, and BMCPH. There were 9 studies used in this study that came from 8 different countries. From this study, it was found that there are 3 financing schemes for cervical cancer screening, namely financing by the government, financing through health insurance, and financing through donors/development partners. There is one integrated program in each country and is often referred to as NCSP. The connected programs and financing have an impact on the increasing participation rate of cervical cancer screening in various countries.
Maternal mental health problem is a major challenge in global public health problems. Women are generally more at risk for depression during pregnancy because of hormonal changes and their role changes in life. Untreated antenatal depression can increase the risk of postpartum depression and other complications for both mother and baby. Some symptoms of antenatal depression are similar to discomfort in pregnancy experienced by pregnant women so that these symptoms are often considered as normal discomfort in pregnancy. The absence of depression screening assessment instruments in pregnancy also makes mental health services for pregnant women not performed by midwives when conducting antenatal care in primary health facilities. This study aims to design an antenatal depression detection system in website-based mental health services for pregnant women. This research was conducted at the UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Panjang Bandar Lampung using a prototyping system development method. The results of this study indicate that mental health services for pregnant women have not been carried out in integrated antenatal care services. The final result of this research is a prototype of an information system that is able to detect the risk of depression in pregnant women and assess the risk factors that might be the cause of depression in pregnant women. By knowing these risk factors, midwives can provide appropriate interventions in reducing antenatal depression.
