This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status, nutrient intake, and work fatigue among rice farmers in the informal sector in Batujaya Village, Karawang Regency. Farmers in this sector engage in high-intensity physical labor but often face limitations in nutrient intake. This research employed a cross-sectional design involving 45 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) for nutrient intake, Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements for nutritional status, and the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire for work fatigue. Inferensial analysis using the Chi-Square test showed that nutrient intake (p = 0.003), nutritional status (p = 0.001), years of service (p = 0.012), reported illness (p = 0.000), and workload (p = 0.000) had a statistically significant relationship with the level of work fatigue. In contrast, age and gender were not significantly associated. Farmers with poor nutritional intake and status tended to experience higher levels of work fatigue. These findings underscore the importance of adequate nutritional fulfillment and workload management to prevent work fatigue and enhance productivity. Interventions are needed in the form of nutrition education, improved access to nutritious food, and the strengthening of community-based occupational health programs in the informal agricultural sector.
