The world of aviation has many activities that also produce various kinds of waste, including solid waste of hazardous and toxic materials. Aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities harm society and the environment. The impact of hazardous solid waste has to be prevented from the public and the environment. This research was conducted to determine how the hazardous solid waste management system results from aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul in aircraft maintenance companies. This study uses a descriptive observational study design using a qualitative approach. The source of data from this research comes from primary data, which comes from in-depth interviews and direct observation, and secondarily by reviewing company documents. The results of this study indicate that the hazardous solid waste management system has problems, including inadequate temporary disposal sites for hazardous and toxic waste, insufficient human resources, and obstacles to the efficiency of hazardous solid waste. The system for reporting and disseminating information on hazardous solid waste management is quite good because it is carried out routinely and informatively. Suggestions that this research can be given are conducting a workload analysis, improving the labeling system, routine monitoring of storage containers, repairing temporary disposal sites for hazardous and toxic waste, carrying out routine waste management, checking the health of hazardous waste officers, and disseminating information on the impact of hazardous solid waste to the public.

Perawat IGD berisiko terkena Nyeri Pinggang Bawah (NPB).
Nurse in the Emergency room at risk of Lower Back Pain (LBP). This research aimed at early detection of ergonomic risk level in nurse activities at emergency room Tarakan Hospital Jakarta in 2013. Of the 36 nurses, 26 complained of middle back pain and 22 lower back pain after work. Case study by observing the activity of the nurse measuring blood pressure, putting IV drip, putting a catheter, passing urine, suturing wound, lifting and moving patients who had ergonomic hazard, for example bending, lifting and squatting with working equipment (bed size, brandkard). Using REBA method and the NIOSH lifting equation analysis had the results, high risk level of activities were identified as passing urine, lifting and moving patients. The level of risk could be lowered by using adjustable beds and chairs; specimen table made of stainless steel, and a long neck numbered pot to measure urine.
ABSTRACT Family-work conflict (FWC) is a form of inter-role conflict, namely the role of stress or imbalance, between the roles in the family with roles in the job. One impact of family-work conflict is characterized by reduction in performance with increased absenteeism indicators female nurse outside absences due to leave the family's interests. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family-work conflict consisting of time-based conflict, strain-based conflict and behavior-based conflict with the performance of female nurses in hospitals Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. Methods This study uses cross-sectional design with a sample of 78 respondents female nurse on the inpatient. The results show there is a relationship between time-based conflict (pvalue 0.007), strain-based conflict (p-value 0.007) and behavior-based conflict (pvalue 0.026) with the performance of the female nurses in hospitals Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga.
The high use of lifting and transport equipment in manufacturing and freight ports requires increased supervision and guidance in their use. From the results of the case report proves the level of accidents in the field of lifting and transport equipment is still going on. The lack of competence of labor inspector in OSH of lift and transport equipment as well as the lack of supervisors increased the problem of lifting and transport equipment. Improving the quality and quantity of Inspectors Occupational Safety specialist of lifting and transport equipment is a solution that is through Competence Based Training (CBT) in accordance with the Competency Standards (SKKNI) of Labor inspector. The research was conducted with descriptive and analytic design through primary data of observation and interview and secondary data from literature and document from Ministry of Manpower. This study describes the condition of the implementation of functional training of current inspector and compared with the development of CBT patterned training, involving 3 supporting pillars namely Training Institute, certification body and business / industry. Keywords: CBT Training, Inspector of OHS, Lifting and Transport Equipment, Competency Standard (SKKNI), Training institution, Certification institution.
500 mg with Vitamin E 200 mg to Decrease Oxidative Stress and Increase Antioxidant on Technician Crew Military Aircraft. Oxidative stress is pathological condition body that is caused by imbalance between oxidants with antioxidants body, which produces free radicals that can lead cell damage early. Free radical will bind building blocks cell covering of fat, protein and DNA will result damage cell, so cell can not regenerate that affect onset of degenerative diseases. Technicians crew military aircraft as specialized personnel with activity job direct contact with material oxidant, thus high risk of oxidative stress. Vitamin C and vitamin E are antioxidant enzyme exogen outside body which has role inhibiting oxidative stress, so oxidative stress does not occur. The design study experimental studies with intervention randomized double blind controled trial. Sample size 206 people divided into two groups are intervention group with sample size 103 people are given supplements combination vitamin C 500 mg with vitamin E 200 mg and control group with sample size 103 people are given placebo for 40 days without break. Data collected include are characteristics of respondent, pattern and amount of consumption of vitamin C, vitamin E and nutrient food, derived from food frequecy questionnaire (FFQ) and 24-hour recall, examination of oxidative stress by checking levels malondialdehyde (MDA) and examination of antioxidant by checking levels glutathione (GSH) in blood serum in pre and post intervention. The results showed decrease oxidative stress in group intervention who are received suplement combination vitamin C 500 mg with vitamin E 200 mg compared with control group who are received placebo, are significant with p value 0.04 with effects size -0.089 nmol/mL, confidence interval 95 % (-0.17875 - 0.00095). No increase antioxidants in group intervention who are received supplement combination vitamin C 500 mg with vitamin E 200 mg compared with control group who are received placebo, are not significant with p value 0.81 with effects size -0.019 ug/mL, 95% confidence interval ( -0.140 - 0.180).
