The City Hall Building of DKI Jakarta Province as a symbol of the Regional Government of DKI Jakarta Province has increasingly complex buildings in terms of intensity, technology, and infrastructure and facilities. The threat of fire hazard can lead to major disasters with severe consequences, both for the safety of life and property, which will directly hinder the smooth running of development, especially in DKI Jakarta Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to prevent and overcome fire hazards in the City Hall Building of DKI Jakarta Province by analyzing the reliability of fire protection systems and life-saving facilities in the City Hall Buliding of DKI Jakarta Province. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative methods, where to obtain the required data is direct observation in the field. The results of observations made by researchers are entered into the Building Safety System (NKSKB) Reliability Value by using the SNI Pd-T-11-2005-C Building Fire Safety Reference Guidelines to obtain information on the level of reliability of the building. The results of this study DKI Jakarta Province City Hall building has a level of building reliability with a value of 87.6%, namely Good classification.

This research is about the application of active and passive protection system andemergency response system of fire at PT Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri(PPLi). The purpose of this research is to understand about the compatibility ofthose system compare with Keputusan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum and NationalFire Protection Association, active and passive protection system and emeregencyresponse system of fire. This research use descriptive method through observationand document review. The conclusion of this research is the active and passiveprotection system and emergency response of fire at PT Prasadha PamunahLimbah Industri (PPLi) has not fully complied the standard.

The purpose of this research is to understand about the compatibility of those system compare with Keputusan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum and National Fire Protection Association, active and passive protection system and emeregency response system of fire. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Proteksi Kebakaran Aktif, Pasif, Sarana Penyelamatan Jiwa dan Manajemen Keselamatan Kebakaran Gedung (MKKG) yang tersedia belum sesuai dengan acuan yang digunakan.
This study discussed about suitability evaluation of active fire protection system (sprinkler, alaram, heat and smoke detektor, APAR/minor fire extinguisher, fire pump and hydrant), passive fire protection system (building construction and compartment), life saving equipment (exit way, corridor, emergency stairs, direction sign, emergency doors and emergency lighting) and building?s fire safety management with regulatory reference of Indonesia PERMEN PU No. 26/PRT/M/2008, PERWAL DEPOK No. 14 Tahun 2012, KEPMENAKER No.KEP.186/MEN/1999 and some of standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). This research used analytic descriptive research with comparative approach.The result showed that evaluation of active and passive fire protection system, life saving equipment and building?s fire safety management which is available is not suitable with regulatory reference.

This research discusses about overview the application of active and passiveprotection systems, life safety, and emergency response of fire at plant papermachine (PM) B. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of activeprotection systems, passive, life safety, fire and emergency response are seenbased on the Minister of Public Works, incorporating the National Fire ProtectionAssociation standards. This research used descriptive research throughobservation, review of documents, and unstructured interviews to determine theapplication of protection system at plant paper machine (PM) B. The conclusionsof this research are the active and passive protection systems, life safety, andemergency response of fire at plant paper machine (PM) B have not fullycomplied the standards.Key words:Active protection system, passive protection system, life safety, emergencyresponse system, Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum, NFPA.
