Work shift which is applied by the company can made a good or bad effect to the employee. One of the bad affect is a presence of fatigue symptoms. Study work shift against the symptoms of fatigue from % CVL are 56 respondents (100%) are not suffering from fatigue, 22 respondents (39,3%) from night shift workers are also not suffering from fatigue, 33 respondents (58,9%) are necessary to repairs and 1 respondents (1,8%) is working in a short time. On a morning work shift day 7th there is an increase 42,9% in a Hypertension Grade I, and on a night work shift day 7th there is an increase 46,5% on a Hypertension Grade II. The level of subjective fatigue on a morning shift there is 49 respondents (87,5%) are not suffering from fatigue and 7 respondents (12,5%) in a light fatigue. On a night shift there are 7 respondents (12,5%) not suffering from fatigue, 29 respondents (51,8%) in a light fatigue and 20 respondents (35,7%) in a mild fatigue. The level of sleepiness there are 56 respondents morning work shift (100%) in a normal level, on a night shift there are 32 respondents (57,1%) in a excessive sleepiness category and 24 respondents (42,9%) in a normal level.

Fatigue measurement was performed as baseline to see fatigue profile on drivers at an expedition service company. A total of 52 drivers were measured for 10 minutes using Psychomotor Vigilance Task-192 (PVT-192). From the mean reaction time, respondents had normal and significant fatigue profiles of 0.046 on the driving distance with the negative pattern. There was one fatigue driver and 18 sleepiness drivers after dropping off the load. Promotion and preventive activities need periodically (education and medical checks up). Masalah mengantuk pada mahasiswa berdampak negatif pada konsentrasi belajar dan produktifitas mahasiswa. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi antara lain asupan zat gizi, asupan energi, status gizi dan aktivitas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap masalah mengantuk pada mahasiswa S-1 reguler FKM UI tahun 2011. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan Mei 2011 di FKM UI menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan jumlah responden yang didapatkan 139 orang. Data primer yaitu data IMT, Masalah mengantuk, aktivitas sehari-hari (aktivitas fisik, durasi tidur dan keterpaparan media), asupan energi dan asupan zat gizi (karbohidrat, protein, lemak, serat, triptofan dan Fe). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Persentase mahasiswa S-1 reguler FKM UI angkatan 2008-2010 tahun 2011 yang sering mengantuk adalah 28,80%. Pada penelitian ini ada hubungan yang signifikan antara durasi tidur dengan masalah mengantuk. Variabel yang paling dominan adalah durasi tidur. Mahasiswa dengan durasi tidur yang <8 jam/ hari akan sering mengantuk sebesar 0,478 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa dengan durasi tidur ≥8 jam/ hari (ada efek protektif). The highest problem sleepiness among students has a negative impact to their concentrate and productivity. Nutrient and energy intake, nutrition status and daily activity could give an impact for sleepiness frequency. This study is aimed at knowing the dominant factor that can give influence for problem sleepiness among Public Health Students in 2011. The sample consisted of 139 public health students participating in a cross sectional study in Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia. The percentage of students who is almost sleepy is 28,80%. This research showed the association between sleep duration and problem sleepiness is significant. The dominant factor is sleep duration. Students with sleep duration < 8 hours/ day could be 0,478 times more sleepy than students with sleep duration ≥ 8 hours/ day (has a protective effect).
