This study aims to determine the determinants incidence of diarrhea in infants 6-59 months in Babakan Madang District in 2019. Study design was cross sectional. Sampling method was purposive sampling, obtained 612 toddlers. Data collection in May August 2019, by measuring the weight and length of infants, structured interviews with toddler mothers using questionnaire. The results of the study found that 22,5% of children under five had diarrhea at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month and the last 3 months before the interview. Dominant factor in the occurrence of diarrhea in infants 6-59 months in Babakan Madang Sub-district in 2019 was the source of clean water for drinking after being controlled by the mother's age variable, storing leftover complementary feeding, cutting toddler's nails, clean water for cooking and washing toddler's tableware. Infrastructure needs to be sought to meet drinking water needs for low-income people, environmental health through counseling about the dangers of diarrhea and how to prevent it.
Hypertension is a leading cause of death and disability on a global level and is a risk factor for other chronic diseases including ischemic heart disease and kidney failure. This study aimed to assess trends and determinants of hypertension associated with individual characteristics and lifestyle. The design of this research was a longitudinal study with time series analysis utilizing cohort study data of risk factors for Non-Communicable Diseases 2015-2017 in Bogor. The number of samples in this study were 711 respondents. Bivariate analysis used repeated ANOVA, Friedman and Wilcoxon, oneway ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney and also Chi-square tests. Meanwhile, the multivariate analysis used multiple logistic regression. The results of the 2015-2017 study showed that the prevalence of hypertension increased from 31,9% to 45,9%. The increase was also shown in the average systolic and diastolic blood pressure, energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, sodium intake and physical activity. In this study, it was found that the most dominant factor affecting hypertension status in 2015-2017 was excess carbohydrate intake. Respondents with excess carbohydrate intake had a 5,14-14,58 times risk of developing hypertension compared to those with sufficient carbohydrate intake. Other variables that affect hypertension status were nutritional status, age, gender, protein intake, smoking habits and fat intake
As many as 40% of deaths caused by uncontrolled hypertension, one of them dueto dietary disobedience, Food eaten will affect the stability of blood pressure. DietaryApproach to Stop Hypertension for Indonesian (DASHI) is recommended, because it cancontrol blood pressure for people with hypertension. The purpose of this study to seewhether there is influence of (DASHI) diet adherence to differences in systolic anddiastolic blood pressure changes in patients with hypertension 25-65 years old. The designof this study was a longitudinal studies conducted from May to September 2017 usingprimary data. There is no effect of dietary compliance (DASHI) on the difference ofsystolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients, but based on the comparisonon each measurement result there is difference of systolic and diastolic blood pressurechanges based on DASHI diet compliance including first month compared to third month,and second month measurement compared with third month, with p-value <0.05.Mancova test results showed there was an effect of (DASHI) dietary compliance to thedifference in systolic blood preassure after controlled smoking habit covariate, and therewas an effect of (DASHI) dietary compliance to difference in diastolic blood pressureafter controlled medication compliance and smoking habit covariate.Key words:DASHI compliance, patients with hypertension, blood pressure.
