Outpatient services is one of unit working in hospitals that serve patients withoutpatient including all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The waiting time isone important thing that will determine the initial image of hospital services. Oneof the tools for identifying customer needs hospital is the Total Quality Service(TQS). Patient satisfaction is a major factor and a measure of the success of thehospital which is given to customers who impact the number of visits increasedand patients are satisfied tend to be returned. This research is a quantitativeresearch with cross sectional design (cross-sectional) with correlation analysis toanalyze the relationship the dependent variable and independent variables. Thestudy was conducted by calculating the waiting time and time clinic doctorexamination, then conducted a TQS questionnaire survey on 135 respondents. Thestudy states that the waiting time and the doctor's examination time did not affectpatient satisfaction. The quality of personnel, administrative services, medicalcare experiences, and social responsibility has a significant relationship withpatient satisfaction. And the social responsibility factor is the most dominantvariable and the effect on patient satisfaction in RSIA AMC Metro.Keywords:Waiting Time, Total Quality Service Factor, Patient Satisfaction
Clinical Pathway in the hospital is a guideline which includes all activities fromadmission until hospital discharge. This thesis discusses the effect of clinicalpathways towards length of stay and cost of prescription patient in IMC hospital.This study is a qualitative and quantitative, analysis of a descriptive case studydesign. Results of the study illustrate the stages of the process of implementingclinical pathways in IMC Hospital that begins with planning, team building, clinicalpathways form drafting, dissemination, trial and implementation; as well as adecline in length of stay and cost of prescription inguinal hernia patients due to theeffect of the implementation of clinical pathways in IMC Hospital.Keyword:Clinical pathway, length of stay, prescription cost, inguinal hernia.
ABSTRAK Ferra Jacquiline Papilaya Program Studi Kajian Adminitrasi Rumah Sakit – Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Indonesia Preferensi ibu Hamil Peserta Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Terhadap Rawat Inap Kebidanan di RS XYZ, Tangerang Selatan. Salah satu upaya pemerintah memenuhi kebutuhan pelayan kesehatan adalah melalui Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran preferensi ibu hamil peserta BPJS terhadap pelayanan rawat inap kebidanan di XYZ, serta determinan yang berhubungan dengan preferensi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik deskriptif dengan metode kwantitatif, dilakukan secara potong lintang yang melibatkan 253 ibu hamil. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan preferensi ibu hamil peserta BPJS tehadap rawat inap kebidanan di RS XYZ dipengaruhi oleh jarak RS XYZ dengan tempat tinggal para ibu dan informasi bahwa RS XYZ melayani peserta BPJS. Rumah Sakit perlu melakukan aktifitas marketing yang konsisten untuk memastikan masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar Rumah Sakit mendapatkan informasi tentang pelayanan BPJS di RS XYZ. ABSTRACT Ferra Jacquiline Papilaya Hospital Administration Study Program, Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia Preference of pregnant women participants of Social Security Administrative Bodies to obstetric inpatient service at XYZ hospital, South Tangerang One of the government's efforts to provide health care is through Social Security Administrative Bodies (BPJS). The aim of this research is to provide an overview of pregnant women participants of BPJS preference to obstetric inpatient services at XYZ Hospital, as well as the determinants related to the preferences. The research is a cross sectional descriptive analytic research with quantitative methods, involving 253 pregnant women. The results found preferences of pregnant women participants of BPJS to obstetrics inpatient services at XYZ hospital affected by the distance of XYZ hospital with the residence of the pregnant women and the information that the hospital serves BPJS participants. The hospital needs to perform a consistent marketing activities to ensure people living around the hospital to get information about BPJS services in RS XYZ. Nurses, as human resources for health also contribute greatly to the health servicesin hospitals and to provide services directly to patients. Nursing services atIntensive Care Unit has to be developed along with the technology development.Therefore, there is a need to concern the effieciency of nurses in term of quantityand competencies. This research discussed about the needs analysis nursing staffin the Intensive Care Unit of dr. Oen Solo Baru Hospital based on workload (usingtime and motion technique to 7 nurses then processed by Ilyas Methods) and workcompetencies based on Aditama 2007 and Ilyas (depth interview to threeinformants with a focus on job knowledge, skills and attitudes). Results of thisresearch show that productive time amounted to 81.56%, the lack of standards andcompetencies, and it need 51 nursesKey Words :Workloads , work competency , nurses, intensive care unit
