The shortage of nurses has been a world problem for several years. Not only in Indonesia,increasing nurse turnover is also a critical challenge faced by various countries such asCanada, China, Germany, Scotland, Britain and the United States, particularly in this studydiscussed about Indonesia, China, Japan, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Korea and the UnitedStates. Understanding the conditions regarding the factors that influencing nurse turnoverintention is important for every hospital in various countries that experience nurseshortages. This study aims to determine the factors associated with nurse turnoverintention at the hospitals as an effort that can be done in minimizing turnover rates inhospitals in Indonesia and also in several other countries. This study uses a qualitativeapproach that is descriptive analytic. The method used is literature review. The type ofdata used is secondary data obtained through research studies conducted by utilizing theresults of pre-existing studies and theories related to the topic. The analysis in this researchis analytic descriptive. The inclusion criteria in this study are research with all types ofmethods that can answer the topic, using Indonesian and English in the last 10 years. Theexclusion criteria for this study were more than 10 years of research, also the research thatcould not answer research questions. The results of the information obtained from thestudy of literature will be described in the form of a table of results and also narrative.Research conducted in government hospitals is needed to make a comparison between thefactors causing turnover intention of nurses in private hospitals and government hospitals.Because there is one study which states that one of the factors causing the high turnoverrate of nurses at the hospital is because the nurses who leave have been accepted as civilservants in government hospitals.
Tesis ini membahas perbedaan variabel penilaian kinerja tehnis keperawatan dalam Instrumen Keperawatan Rumah Sakit 'X' dengan Elemen Penilaian Standar Akreditasi Rumah Sakit KARS tahun 2011 karena adanya perubahan Sistem Akreditasi Rumah Sakit dari sistem akreditasi berorientasi input and dokumentasi menjadi sistem akreditasi berorientasi proses dan pasien Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan persamaan dan perbedaan variabel dan elemen penilaian untuk kemudian dianalisa dan dirumuskan menjadi sebuah insrumen penilaian kinerja tehnis keperawatan adaptasi dari instrumen penilaian kinerja tehnis yang saat ini digunakan oleh Rumah Sakit 'X' sehingga sesuai dengan elemen penilaian Standar Akreditasi Rumah Sakit KARS tahun 2011 Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat sebanyak 28 variabel Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja Keperawatan Rumah Sakit 'X rsquo yang sudah sesuai dengan elemen penilaian Standar Akreditasi Rumah Sakit KARS tahun 2011 40 variabel Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja Keperawatan Rumah Sakit 'X rsquo masih berbeda dengan Elemen Penilaian Standar Akreditasi Rumah Sakit KARS tahun 2011 dan akan dimasukkan kedalam draft revisi Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja Rumah Sakit 'X' serta 2 variabel dalam Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja Keperawatan Rumah Sakit 'X rsquo akan dimasukkan kedalam draft revisi Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja Rumah Sakit walau tidak terdapat dalam elemen penilaian Standar Akreditasi Rumah Sakit KARS tahun 2011.
This Thesis discuss the variable difference between nursing technical performance appraisal instrument of Hospital 'X' dan KARS Hospital Accreditation of 2011 due to a change of standard within the Hospital Accreditation System from input and document oriented system into a process and patient oriented system The goal of this research is to find the similarities dan differences between Nursing Technical Performance Appraisal Instrument of Haspital 'X' dan KARS Hospital Accreditation of 2011 to then be analyzed and be made into a draft for Hospital 'X' Nursing Appraisal Instrument revision so that the current Nursing Appraisal Instrument template still can be used with a revision to accomodate KARS Hospital Accreditation of 2011 This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design The research show a similarities of 28 variables and a difference of 40 variabels between nursing technical performance appraisal instrument of Haspital 'X' dan KARS Hospital Accreditation of 2011 In addition there are 2 more variables derived from the current nursing technical performance appraisal instrument of Hospital 'X' that have no similarities with KARS Hospital Accreditation of 2011 which will be made into a draft for Hospital 'X' Nursing Appraisal Instrument revision.
Pelayanan yang bermutu di rumah sakit adalah pelayanan yang memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan. Salah satu perwujudan akan tanggungjawab tersebut rumah sakit harus dapat menjamin keselamatan pasien (Patient Safety) selama pasien tersebut menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit. Tujuan akhir dari upaya keselamatan pasien adalah menurunkan angka kejadian tidak diinginkan dan angka kejadain nyaris cedera. Dengan menurunkan KTD/KNC maka akuntabilitas Rumah sakit akan meningkat. Dengan akuntabilitas yang baik maka rumah sakit akan unggul dalam persaingan global yang semakin lama semakin ketat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku patient safety pada perawat unit rawat inap Rumah Sakit Tugu Ibu, Depok. Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka KTD/KNC mulai dari pelaporannya sepanjang tahun 2005-2010. Responden yang dipilih adalah perawat unit rawat inap, dengan alasan perawat adalah ujung tombak pelayanan di rumah sakit khususnya unit rawat inap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku patient safety pada perawat unit rawat inap RS Tugu Ibu Depok. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi perilaku patient safety ditinjau dari faktor predisposisi yang meliputi pendidikan, umur, pelatihan, pengalaman kerja, dari faktor penguat yang meliputi pengaruh pimpinan, pengaruh organisasi, dan imbalan, dari faktor pendukung yang meliputi sumber daya dan desain kerja, serta dari budaya patient safety yang meliputi reporting culture, just culture, learning culture dan flexible culture. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh perawat rawat inap RS Tugu Ibu, Depok yang berjumlah 76 orang sebagai total sampel. Hasil analisis bivariat dengan uji statistic chi-square menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan bermakna antara pelatihan dan sumber daya terhadap perilaku patient safety. Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara umur, pendidikan, pengalaman kerja,pengaruh pimpinan,pengaruh organisasi, imbalan, desain kerja dan budaya patient safety. Saran berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkatkan upaya keselamatan pasien pada semua unsur di rumah sakit dan pada perawat khususnya. It is the right for every patient at the hospital to receive a high quality standard service provided by the Hospital. One embodiment would be the responsibility of the hospital to ensure patient safety during the time when the patient is on undergoing treatment in the hospital. The end goal of patient safety efforts is to lower the incident of adverse event and near miss. By lowering adverse event and near miss then the hospital will increase accountability and with a good accountability will bring a positive outcome so the Hospital can overcome a global competition which becoming increasingly fierce. This study was conducted to analyze the factors that affect patient safety behavior on inpatient nursing units at Tugu Ibu Hospital, Cimanggis, Depok. The background of this research problem is because the high number of adverse event and near miss incident, during the 2005 – 2010 reporting period. The selected respondents are inpatient nurses, as they are the front liners in a Hospitals service, especially inpatient unit. The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of the patient safety to the nurse with a reference to the “Nine Life-Saving Patient Safety Solutions”. In addition, to find out what factors influence the behavior of patient safety in terms of predisposing factors.That includes background education, age, training, working experiences. The other supporting factors are the leader’s influence, organizational influence. Rewards from the other supporting that covers resource and design work, as well as culture that includes patient safety reporting culture, learning culture and flexibility culture. These performance design is using a cross sectional study. Methods of data collection are done through surveys and questionnaires to inpatient hospital nurses. The resources are all inpatient hospital nurse at Tugu Ibu Hospital at Depok Cimanggis with a total number 76 nurses. The bivariate analysis results with chi-square statistical test showed that there is a mutual relationship between the leader’s influence and patient safety.
