ABSTRAK Industri baja memiliki resiko yang tinggi terhadap kesehatan dan keselamatan karyawannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui iklim keselamatan di area rolling mill PT X dengan besar sampel 166 orang. Hasilnya dimensi iklim keselamatan yang paling kuat adalah dimensi individu (3,21), dengan faktor iklim keselamatan tertinggi adalah komitmen pekerja (3,28). Semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan, jabatan dan semakin lama orang bekerja maka semakin tinggi nilai iklim keselamatannya. Tingginya angka kecelakaan di sektor manufaktur, korelasi antara safety climate dengan kejadian kecelakaan, serta tingkat safety climate pada unit produksi di perusahaan yang cenderung lebih rendah dibanding unit lain, menunjukan bahwa perusahaan perlu berupaya menciptakan suasana kerja yang baik agar dapat menghasilkan safety climate yang positif khususnya pada unit produksi di perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis safety climate di unit produksi PT X dimana PT X belum pernah melakukan pengukuran safety climate sebelumnya. Penelitian ini merupakan studi cross-sectional dengan metode analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Sampel sebanyak 114 responden menggunakan teknik simple random sampling pada pekerja di divisi produksi dan packing. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah NOSACQ-50. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor safety climate di unit produksi PT X adalah 3,15. Seluruh dimensi yang diukur mendapatkan skor rata rata antara 3,06 sampai 3,26. Skor rata-rata safety climate pada kelompok jenis kelamin, masa kerja, dan status kepegawaian menunjukkan perbedaan signifakan pada dimensi worker's safety priority and risk non-acceptance dan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan pada dimensi lainnya. Seluruh dimensi safety climate di unit produksi PT X masuk ke dalam kategori cukup baik. Upaya peningkatan dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan efektifitas program terkait persepsi keselamatan dan mengupayakan keaktifan para pekerja serta menyamakan persepsi akan risiko dan bahaya untuk para pekerja.
The high rate of accidents in the manufacturing sector, the correlation between safety climate and accidents, and the level of safety climate in the production unit in the company which tends to be lower than other units, show that companies need to strive to create a good working atmosphere in order to produce a positive safety climate, especially in the production unit in the company. This study aims to analyze the safety climate in the production unit of PT X where PT X has never measured safety climate before. This research is a cross-sectional study with descriptive and inferential analysis methods. A sample of 114 respondents using simple random sampling technique on workers in the production and packing division. The instrument used in this study is NOSACQ-50. The results showed that the average safety climate score in the PT X production unit was 3.15. All dimensions measured get an average score between 3.06 to 3.26. The average score of safety climate in groups of gender, length of service, and employment status shows significant differences in the dimensions of worker's safety priority and risk non-acceptance and there are no significant differences in other dimensions. All dimensions of safety climate in the PT X production unit fall into the fairly good category. Improvement can be carried out by increasing the effectiveness of programs related to safety perceptions and seeking the activeness of workers and equalizing perceptions of risks and hazards for workers.

Iklim keselamatan merupakan persepsi pekerja tentang pentingnya perilaku aman saat bekerja berkaitan dengan kebijakan, keselamatan, prosedur, praktik, serta seluruh kepentingan dan prioritas keselamatan kerja. Iklim keselamatan yang buruk akan ditandai dengan peningkatan stress pekerja, komunikasi keselamatan yang buruk, dan kurangnya dukungan sehingga dapat menormalkan perilaku tidak aman, merusak kesadaran situasional, dan meningkatkan kemungkinan kecelakaan. Pengukuran iklim keselamatan dapat dijadikan perusahaan sebagai leading indicator untuk acuan dalam membuat/memperbaiki program keselamatan yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil safety climate pada area support point di PT X Tahun 2025 berdasarkan dimensi komitmen manajemen, komunikasi keselamatan, aturan dan prosedur, lingkungan yang mendukung, akuntabilitas pribadi, dan pelatihan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner (data primer). Jumlah sampel yang dianalisis sebanyak 118 orang. Analisis data digunakan melalui analisis deskriptif dan inferensial (Uji Mann Whitney dan Kruskal Wallis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profil safety climate di area support point PT X tahun 2025 sudah baik, dengan rata – rata nilai 5,18. Seluruh dimensi yang diukur mendapatkan rata – rata skor 4,98 – 5,31. Skor rata – rata safety climate pada kelompok usia, masa kerja, dan pendidikan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada dimensi komitmen manajemen, komunikasi keselamatan, dan pelatihan.

A poor safety climate will be characterized by increased worker stress, poor safety communication, and lack of support thus normalizing unsafe behavior, decreasing situational awareness, and increasing the likelihood of accidents. Safety climate measurements can be used by companies as a leading indicator in establishing / improving existing safety programs. This study aims to analyze the safety climate profile in the support point area at PT X in 2025 based on the dimensions of management commitment, safety communication, rules and procedures, supportive environment, personal accountability, and training. The research design used is cross sectional with data collection methods using questionnaires (primary data). The number of samples analyzed was 118 respondents. Setiap pekerjaan memiliki risiko kecelakaan, dalam membangun kesadaran pekerja dibutuhkan safety culture yang baik. Untuk merepresentasikan safety culture dengan menggunakan safety climate atau persepsi keselamatan pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran safety climate di PT Fajar Mas Murni Tahun 2017, menggunakan desain survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengelolah data. Besaran sampel yang diambil sebanyak 109 responden diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai safety climate sebesar 7,51 atau sangat kuat. Dimensi yang paling kuat adalah persepsi karyawan sebagai individu terhadap nilai safety (7,82), sedangkan variabel yang menunjukan nilai paling tinggi adalah kebutuhan pribadi terhadap keselamatan (8,11). Nilai safety climate paling tinggi ada pada kelompok tingkat jabatan manajer (7,91), pendidikan terakhir Diploma III (7,7), masa kerja >15 tahun (7,73), dan pekerja kontrak (7,6)

Abstrak:
Di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 terjadi 177.000 kasus kecelakaan kerja dimana pada sektor transportasi menyumbang sebesar 9,3%. Kecelakaan kerja dapat terjadi karena lingkungan kerja yang tidak aman dan perilaku yang tidak aman yang bersumber dari manusia. Salah satu cara pendekatan keselamatan yang dapat digunakan dan berfokus kepada faktor manusia yaitu dengan melalui iklim keselamatan. Terkait dengan iklim keselamatan kerja di PT.XYZ belum pernah dilakukan pengukuran iklim keselamatan kerja. Dan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis iklim keselamatan kerja di PT.XYZ. Pengukuran iklim keselamatan kerja pada penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode NOSACQ-50. Dimana instrumen dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuesioner NOSACQ-50. Dan setalah dilakukan pengolahan data diperoleh hasil tingkat iklim keselamatan kerja di PT.XYZ adalah dengan skor 3,03 yang berarti masuk kedalam katagori baik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara iklim keselamatan dengan perilaku keselamatan pada pekerja di PT X. Iklim keselamatan mencerminkan persepsi pekerja terhadap komitmen dan praktik keselamatan di lingkungan kerja, sementara perilaku keselamatan mencerminkan tindakan nyata pekerja dalam mendukung keselamatan kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator iklim keselamatan dan perilaku keselamatan, yang masing-masing diukur menggunakan skala ordinal. Responden penelitian ini adalah seluruh pekerja bagian produksi di PT X. Analisis hubungan dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang kuat antara iklim keselamatan dan perilaku keselamatan (ρ = 0,551). Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi pekerja terhadap iklim keselamatan, maka semakin baik pula perilaku keselamatan yang ditunjukkan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya membangun iklim keselamatan yang positif sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan perilaku keselamatan di tempat kerja.

Tingginya angka unsafe action dan unsafe condition yang ditemui oleh PT X selama satu tahun terakhir menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan perlu membangun iklim keselamatan yang lebih positif. Adanya faktor tersebut dapat bermuara pada terjadinya kejadian kecelakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran iklim keselamatan di PT X melalui survei persepsi pekerja terhadap keselamatan menggunakan kuesioner NOSACQ-50. PT X saat ini belum pernah melakukan pengukuran terhadap iklim keselamatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian semikuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Pada 124 sampel digunakan proportionate stratified random sampling agar setiap strata dalam populasi mewakili secara proporsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim keselamatan di PT X tahun 2025 berada dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,34. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa sebagian besar pekerja di PT X sudah memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap keselamatan. Persepsi pekerja terhadap komitmen mereka tentang keselamatan mendapatkan nilai tertinggi, artinya sebagian besar pekerja mempunyai komitmen untuk berperilaku selamat. Akan tetapi, persepsi pekerja terhadap pemberdayaan pekerja oleh manajemen, keadilan keselamatan oleh manajemen, serta prioritas pekerja terhadap keselamatan dan penolakan risiko masih membutuhkan perhatian untuk dapat ditingkatkan. Upaya seperti pelatihan keselamatan yang berkelanjutan, pemberdayaan pekerja, penguatan komunikasi keselamatan, dan pembentukan budaya kerja yang positif dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan persepsi pekerja terhadap keselamatan.

These factors pose a significant risk of occupational accidents. This study aims to assess the safety climate at PT X by exploring workers' perceptions of safety using NOSACQ-50. PT X has never measured the safety climate. This study is semi-quantitative study with cross-sectional study design. In 124 samples, proportionate stratified random sampling was used so that each stratum in the population could be represented proportionally. The findings revealed that the overall safety climate at PT X was categorized as good, with an average score of 3.34. This indicates that the majority of workers possess a positive perception of safety. The highest score was observed in the dimension of workers’ commitment to safety, reflecting a strong individual commitment to safe behavior. However, workers' perceptions of management safety empowerment, management safety justice, and workers’ safety priority and risk non-acceptance still need attention to be improved. Interventions such as ongoing safety training, worker empowerment, strengthening safety communication, and establishing a positive work culture can be made to strengthen workers' perceptions and overall safety climate.

Abstrak:
Iklim keselamatan adalah persepsi bersama karyawan tentang kebijakan, prosedur, dan praktik yang berkaitan dengan keselamatan di lingkungan kerja mereka. Iklim keselamatan berhubungan dengan perilaku selamat dan kecelakaan kerja yang tidak disengaja di tempat kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan iklim keselamatan di PT X serta menganalisis hubungannya dengan perilaku selamat. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan metode kuesioner dengan total 200 responden. Kuesioner terstruktur digunakan untuk menangkap karakteristik sosio-demografis responden, iklim keselamatan kerja, dan perilaku keselamatan kerja. Responden berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini dengan menjawab kuesioner yang dibagikan secara online dan offline. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan iklim keselamatan di PT X berada di level Cukup, terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara Variabel sub dimensi dengan iklim keselamatan, serta hubungan yang cukup kuat antara iklim keselamatan dengan perilaku selamat. Studi menekankan bahwa peningkatan tingkat iklim keselamatan dapat meningkatkan perilaku selamat sehingga efektif dalam mengurangi insiden kecelakaan kerja.

Terdapat 183item pada kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh 87 responden yang merupakan pekerjaPT.X dengan jabatan pelaksana dan lama kerja minimal 6 bulan. Data yang telahdiperoleh selanjutnya diolah untuk mengetahui nilai rata-rata persepsi respondenterhadap ketiga variabel, yaitu safety leadership, safety climate dan safetybehavior.Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa safetyleadership atasan responden yang terdiri atas 5 indikator, yaitu: safety caring,safety cocahing, safety controlling, participative decision making dan leading byexample masuk pada kategori baik dengan nilai mean sebesar 76,34%. Hasilasesmen safety climate yang terdiri dari 6 indikator yaitu: management safetypriority, commitment and competence, safety communication, learning and trustin co-worker safety competence, workers safety commitment, workers safetypriority and risk non acceptance, organizational environment dan work pressuremasuk kedalam kategori baik dengan nilai mean sebesar 75,62%. Selain itu,variabel safety behavior juga masuk kedalam kategori baik dengan nilai meansebesar 75,26% yang terdiri atas 2 indikator yaitu safety compliance dan safetyparticipation.Kata kunci: asesmen;safety behavior;safety climate;safety leaderhip.
