The participation of informal sector workers in Depok City in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Workers Social Security) program remains very low, indicating suboptimal protection for this group. This study aims to describe and analyze the relationship between behavioral determinants and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participation among informal sector workers in Depok City in 2025. This research used a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach involving 116 informal workers in Depok City, selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed both online and onsite at Pos UKK and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that more than half of the informal workers had not registered for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (50.9%). Most informal workers were women, of productive age, and married. The study found that gender, knowledge, perceived susceptibility, perceived barriers, BPJS premium costs, motivation, family support, and environmental support were significantly associated with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participation among informal workers in Depok City in 2025. Strategic efforts that consider these factors are needed to improve the coverage of social security protection for informal workers.
