The development of digital information and communication technology affects human life and has an impact on increasing the use of social media such as TikTok with various purposes, especially to promote food products targeting teenagers. This causes teenagers following food trends on social media, but the choices they make are not good, which triggers nutritional problems for adolescents. This study aims to determine the relationship between TikTok social media and adolescent eating behavior in Malang. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design of 200 respondents and was carried out from May to June 2022. The data was collected through questionnaires. Data analysis began with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and the Chi-square test with 95% confidence. Variables that have a significant relationship to adolescent eating behavior are duration and frequency of exposure to food content, with a p-value <0.05. Meanwhile, other variables such as age, gender, education level, BMI, pocket money, family upbringing, and peer influence were not significantly related to adolescent eating behavior in Malang. Suggestions for the Health Office are that this research can be used as a reference in planning educational programs regarding balanced diet through social media, especially TikTok by involving influencers.
Anemia pada ibu hamil dapat dicegah dengan melakukan perilaku pencegahan anemia yang meliputi makan-makanan bergizi, rutin konsumsi tablet tambah darah, dan rutin melakukan kunjungan Antenatal Care (ANC). Cakupan ANC di Puskesmas Kedungkandang dibawah standar Provinsi Jawa Timur (Cakupan K1 98,2% dan pada K4 89,93%) dan Kota Malang (Cakupan K1 89,10% dan pada K4 84,41%) yaitu pada K1 sebesar 88% dan cakupan K4 sebesar 84%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kedungkandang Kota Malang Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, desain cross sectional pada 115 ibu hamil yang diambil secara proportional random sampling dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor predisposisi: pengetahuan (P-value = 0,000) dan sikap (P-value = 0,000), faktor pemungkin: kelas ibu hamil (P-value = 0,012), dan faktor penguat: dukungan suami (P-value = 0,000) dengan perilaku pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil. Untuk itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan perilaku pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil dengan peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, keikutsertaan dalam kelas ibu hamil dan dukungan suami agar perilaku pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil semakin baik.
Anemia in pregnant women can be prevented by carrying out anemia prevention behaviors which include eating nutritious foods, routinely consuming blood-boosting tablets, and carrying out routine antenatal care (ANC) visits. ANC coverage at the Kedungkandang Health Center is below the standard for East Java Province (Coverage of K1 98.2% and in K4 89.93%) and Malang City (Coverage of K1 89.10% and in K4 84.41%), namely in K1 it is 88% and K4 coverage of 84%. This study aims to determine the factors related to anemia prevention behavior in pregnant women in the Working Area of the Kedungkandang Health Center, Malang City in 2023. This research is a quantitative study, cross-sectional design on 115 pregnant women who were taken by proportional random sampling and carried out in the month June-July 2023. Data collection was carried out through interviews using a questionnaire. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between predisposing factors: knowledge (P-value = 0.000) and attitudes (P-value = 0.000), enabling factors: class of pregnant women (P-value = 0.012), and reinforcing factors: husband's support ( P-value = 0.000) with anemia prevention behavior in pregnant women. For this reason, efforts are needed to increase anemia prevention behavior in pregnant women by increasing knowledge, attitudes, participation in classes for pregnant women and husband's support so that anemia prevention behavior in pregnant women is getting better.
Adolescent is a significant of human resource asset as the continuity of the next generation in the future. Phisically, adolescent period is marked the rapid changes, either in size or the body shape. In line with the activity of the sexual hormones and the maturity of reproduction organs. This changing, biologically causes the biggest sexual urge on the adolescent period, and as it supported by the external influences, either from their peers or people around them as well as the information that has porn characteristic that make adolescent do uncontrolable sexual activity. The purpose of the research is to know the image of adolescent sexual behavior in private Vocational High School X2 in Depok 2012.
Adolescent premarital sexual behavior has an impact on health problems, one of which Sexual Transmitted Infections. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of sexual behavior in adolescents in Depok City based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. The research design used was cross-sectional. The sample was 165 adolescent respondents 15-19 years old in Depok City and not married. The sample was limited to adolescents who had access to social media. Instruments in the form of a YSI-Q (Azimah, 2016) and Adolescent Sexual Behavior and Measurements (Muflih & Syafitri, 2018). Questionnaires were distributed online to the youth online communities in Depok City. The results showed that as many as 13,3% of respondents had risky sexual behavior, including having sex with more than one person (0,6%), having sex with and without contraception (each 1,8%), petting (4,2%), oral sex (3,6%) and kissing (13,3%). It is known that attitude signifcantly related with premarital sex behavior (p = 0.003) with OR = 5.1 (1.6-15.8). Adolescents who have a positive attitude towards premarital sex have a risk of 5,1 times more likely to have risky premarital sex than adolescents who have a negative attitude. Subjective norms also related with adolescent premarital sexual behavior (p=0,010) with OR=3.9 (1,3-11,3). Adolescents who have a supportive subjective norm have a risk of 3,9 times more likely to engage in risky premarital sex behavior than a not supportive subjective norm. Perceived control behavior and sexual intention have no significant relation with premarital sex behavior (p-value > 0,05). The results of this study are to be a consideration for related parties who handling the problems of adolescent premarital sexual behavior.
Smoking still become a risk factor for chronic and deadly diseases. In 2014, there were 5.8 billion smokers in the world, 80 percent started smoking as a teenager. In Indonesia, the average of age to initial smoking is 17,6 years. To protect adolescents from the dangers of smoking, Pictorial Health Warning (PHW) with fear appeal was imprinted on cigarette pack. As 24 June 2014, PHW has been applied in Indonesia. The research aims to describe the response of adolescent smoker in Depok City toward message with fear appeal on PHW in Indonesia.
