Background: Patient revisit intention is a key indicator reflecting satisfaction, trust, and perception of service quality. In today’s digital era, building patient loyalty depends not only on clinical care, but also on overall hospital perception. Factors such as electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), digital marketing, and service quality play crucial roles in shaping hospital image, which in turn influences revisit intention. This study aims to analyze the relationship between e-WOM, digital marketing, and service quality on revisit intention, with hospital image as a mediating variable at Hospital X. Methods: A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 120 patients who had received services at least once in the past year. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Results: The findings indicate that e-WOM, digital marketing, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on hospital image. Furthermore, hospital image significantly influences revisit intention and mediates the relationship between the three variables and patient revisit behavior. Conclusion: Hospital image plays a key mediating role in enhancing revisit intention. Strengthening digital communication and maintaining consistent service quality are essential strategies to foster a positive and sustainable hospital image. The study is limited to a single institution with a relatively homogeneous respondent profile, and therefore, findings should be generalized with caution

Background Various factors are known to influence patient satisfaction and loyalty in a hospital's Emergency Room (IGD), ranging from service quality, price to brand image. Satisfaction and loyalty of emergency room patients at Eka Cibubur Hospital is still one of the problems of the hospital's overall services, which has an impact on its operational performance in the form of negative growth in 2023. Objective The main objective of this research is to analyze and test various factors that influence patient satisfaction and loyalty at the Emergency Department (IGD) of Eka Cibubur Hospital. Methods This is a quantitative study on 163 patients who used the emergency room services at Eka Cibubur Hospital from December 2023 to January 2024. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to patients who had been determined after being tested first. Then, multivariate analysis was carried out and estimation of the interdependence relationship between latent variables simultaneously through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) test. Results Patient satisfaction is influenced by service quality (p = 0.034), price (p = 0.000) and brand image (p = 0.015). Meanwhile, patient loyalty is only influenced by brand image (p = 0.003) and patient satisfaction (p = 0.003). In addition, patient satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between price (p = 0.024), but does not mediate the relationship between service quality (p = 0.109) and brand image (p = 0.068) and patient loyalty. Conclusion Service quality, price and brand image that are well perceived by emergency room patients have been proven to influence satisfaction with their services. Loyalty regarding subsequent use of services is largely determined by satisfaction, especially satisfaction with price which has been proven to greatly influence patient loyalty regarding subsequent use of ER services. Furthermore, studies on other factors still need to be carried out for continuous improvement. Keywords: Service Quality, Price, Brand Image, Satisfaction, Loyalty

Teaching hospitals face challenges in fostering sustainable patient revisit intention due to the dual nature of services that integrate clinical education processes with high patient expectations regarding service quality and safety. Amid the growing use of digital communication as part of patient experience management, the effectiveness of digital storytelling in shaping patient perceptions and behaviors remains empirically inconsistent. This study aims to analyze the relationships among digital storytelling, service quality, brand image, and patient satisfaction in influencing revisit intention among outpatients at the Dental and Oral Teaching Hospital of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. This research employed a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 115 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that service quality has a significant and dominant effect on brand image, patient satisfaction, and revisit intention. Brand image and patient satisfaction also demonstrate significant positive effects on revisit intention and function as mediators in the relationship between service quality and revisit intention. In contrast, digital storytelling does not show a significant direct effect on brand image, patient satisfaction, or revisit intention within the context of this study. Nevertheless, respondents’ response patterns suggest a relatively positive reception toward digital narrative elements, indicating strategic potential if digital storytelling is developed with greater consistency, clinical relevance, and integration into service delivery processes. These findings emphasize that service quality serves as the primary driver of revisit intention in dental teaching hospitals, while digital storytelling requires strengthened design and implementation to meaningfully contribute to the formation of patient perceptions and decision-making. This study provides empirical evidence to support the development of service quality improvement strategies and patient-oriented digital communication in teaching hospital settings.
