One of the Government's targets through the Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) is to increase the membership of the Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). Family Planning Services is one of the benefits of preventive promotive services in Health Insurance. However, in Indonesia, contraception using injection (Non LARC) is the most widely used method. This research is a quantitative study with cross sectional data collection time. The data used are secondary data from the 2018 National Economic Survey (Susenas) with a sample of 28,889 married women of childbearing age of 15-49 years who were analyzed univariately, bivariately and multivariately using binary logit regression models. The results showed that ownership of health insurance, visiting health facilities especially FKTP, Age 27-49 years, higher education, number of children> 2, working status, living in Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, rich economic status, and residing living in rural areas has the opportunity to increase the use of LARC. With the most dominant determinant is the respondent variable residing in Bali and Nusa Tenggara and those aged 27-49 years.
This thesis discusses the relationship between the choice of information quality of health workers with the selection of long-term contraceptive methods (MKJP) in Indonesia in 2017. This study was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods. For quantitative research methods using secondary data that is IDHS data (2017) and qualitative research conducted with in-depth interviews. The sample of this research is WUS aged 15-49 years and using modern contraception. The results showed that MKJP users who got choice information with poor quality amounted to 46.2%. The results of multivariable analysis showed that there was a relationship between the choice of information from health workers and the selection of the MKJP after being controlled for age, education, occupation, economic status, area of residence, knowledge of family planning, number of children and family planning staff visits. It is recommended that the BKKBN increase family planning promotion more attractively, creatively and persuasively and provide soft skills training to improve the quality of PLKB in changing WUS attitudes towards contraceptive use.
The focus of this study is discusses about the effects of long-term contraception (MKJP) on fertility in young women aged 15 to 24 who are married. The implementation of the family planning program until now can’t control the fertility in Indonesia, and can’t reached the target by Indonesia government, seen from the TFR in Indonesia until now was 2.4. This condition differs from reaching the level of contraceptive use (CPR), which is higher than the goal, one of the causes is still low expectations of knowledge and attitudes using the MKJP contraceptive method as the choice of the best contraceptive tool compared to others. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design, sampel in this research was 1396 respondent. The results have a relation signifikan between and the use of MKJP on the fertility of married female adolescents in Indonesia after control the ideal number of children with OR 3.4-fold, so goverment must in order to improve the quality of KB expecially MKJP services.
