Composite Index of Anthropometric Failure (CIAF) is an indicator of composite nutritional status assessment (WAZ, HAZ, WHZ) to describe all nutritional problems experienced by toddlers. In 2020, malnutrition, unemployment, poverty in Banten Province is high, and the income of the population tends to be low. Karangkamulyan Village is an underdeveloped village with mining areas. This study aims to determine the factors related to Toddler nutritional status based on CIAF in Karangkamulyan Village, Cihara District, Lebak Regency in 2020. The study used a cross-sectional study design by analyzing primary data from the study "Factors Associated with the Incidence of Worms in Toddlers in Karangkamulyan Village, Cihara District, Lebak Regency in 2020". The research sample was 141 toddlers aged 24-59 months. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. The results found that toddlers experienced nutritional problems based on CIAF were 36.2%. Variables related to the nutritional status of toddlers, is exclusive breastfeeding (p-value 0.026), energy intake (p-value 0.026), and vegetable protein consumption habits (p-value 0.003). The variables of mother's education, family income, gender, birth weight, birth length, toddler's intake (protein, carbohydrates, fat), consumption habits (animal protein, vegetables, and fruit), and disease history (ARI, diarrhea) were not related to toddler nutritional status. With this condition, the implementation of nutrition control from parents, public health centers, and the health office hoped to be carried out to overcome the toddler nutritional problems.
Prevalensi autis meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, akan tetapi saat ini belum pernah dilakukan penelitian tentang status gizi pada anak autis.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi pada anak autis di tiga Rumah Autis (Bekasi, Tanjung Priuk, Depok) dan Klinik Tumbuh Kembang Depok. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional.Hasil penelitian, dari 62 anak autis ditemukan sebesar 43,5% kelebihan berat badan. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara jenis kelamin, kecukupan konsumsi energi dan kecukupan konsumsi lemak dengan status gizi anak autis. Anak autis yang mengonsumsi energi dengan kategori ?lebih? (>100% AKG) berisiko 3,7 kali kelebihan berat badan dan kecukupan konsumsi lemak merupakan faktor protektif tehadap kelebihan berat badan. Tetapi tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara umur, pantangan, aktivitas fisik, kecukupan konsumsi karbohidrat dan protein, frekuensi konsumsi pangan sumber energi (karbohidrat, protein, lemak) dengan status gizi pada anak autis. Namun terdapat kecenderungan kelebihan berat badan lebih banyak pada anak autis yang mengonsumsi makanan protein dengan kategori ?lebih? (50%), sumber karbohidrat dengan frekuensi ?sering sekali? >3x sehari (55,6%) dan sumber lemak dengan frekuensi ?sering? > 6x seminggu (48,1%).Penulis menyarankan bagi orang tua menerapkan pola konsumsi yang sehat bagi anak autis seperti makan dengan beraneka ragam warna dan variasi makanan.
The prevalence of autism increased from year to year, but now it has never done research on the nutritional status in children with autism. The focus of this study is about Factors Associated with nutritional status at Children Autism in Three Autism house (Jakarta, Tanjung Priuk, Depok) and Growth Clinic Kreibel Depok.The results of the study, 62 children with autism was found to be 43.5% overweight. Based on the results of statistical tests found a significant association between the sexes, the adequacy of energy consumption and the adequacy of fat consumption with the nutritional status of children with autism. Autism children who consume energy by category of "more" (> 100% RDA) 3.7x the risk of overweight and fat consumption adequacy repres protective factor overweight. But there is no significant relationship between age, abstinence, physical activity, adequate consumption of carbohydrates and protein, the frequency of food consumption of energy sources (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) with nutritional status in children with autism. But there is a tendency more overweight in children with autism who eat protein with the category of "more" (50%), carbohydrate source with a frequency of "very often"> 3x daily (55.6%) and fat sources with a frequency of "frequent" > 6x a week (48.1%).The author suggests that parents implement a healthy consumption pattern for children with autism such as eating with a wide range of colors and variety of food.
The focus of this study was to determine nutritional status and factors that associated with overweight and obesity among shift workers at PT Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia. This study used a cross-sectional design, simple random sampling method and analyzed using the chi-square test and independent t test. The study sample consisted of 150 shift workers. This study was conducted on April 2013. The result of this study shows that 34% of respondents were overweight and obesity. This study also found that overweight and obesity has been associated with energy intake (p value 0,000), protein intake (p value 0,004), fat intake (p value 0,000) and carbohydrate intake (p value 0,000). The researcher suggest that company should take a part to monitoring employees’ nutritional status, minimum by conducting weighing weight once a month to raise awareness about the current condition of employees’ nutritional status so the behavioral changes toward healthy life style could happen.
