The COVID-19 pandemic situation has opened people's eyes to the importance of health, the increasing demand for health products has encouraged the logistics industry of PT X, which plays a role in the distribution of goods, to carry out overtime work to meet the high work intensity, this increases the risk of fatigue in the workplace which can reduce body function and have an impact on the health of workers and even the risk of errors in the workplace. Additionally, PT X lacks a fatigue risk management system, making it unable to do fatigue detection, thus this research aims to provide an overview of complaints and fatigue warehouse logistics workers at PT X year 2022, located in one of the DKI Jakarta region. Research design is a quantitative and qualitative with a cross-sectional study using questionnaire instruments, including the Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS), NASA Task Load Index (TLX), and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) which were then analyzed univariately and triangulated the data with the results of field interviews towards several workers and the coordinator of each team. The results showed that there were 20 workers (37.04%) experiencing light fatigue, the majority of the others (62.96%) did not experience any, and none with severe fatigue, as for the most dominant fatigue risk factor found is the workers' sleep quantity with the majority of workers (83.33%) having sleep duration below the standard of 7 hours minimum
Tuberculosis is still the main cause of death worldwide, including Indonesia as the 3rd country with the highest number of tuberculosis sufferers in the world. Meanwhile, at the provincial level, Depok City is in 11th place with the largest contributor to tuberculosis cases in West Java Province. This study aims to determine the relationship between healthy homes, TB treatment coverage, and TB treatment success rates with the Incidence Rate (IR) tuberculosis in Depok City in 2021. This study uses an ecological study design based on place with a population of all communities recorded in 11 sub-districts in Depok. Depok City, which was diagnosed with tuberculosis. The results of the study through the correlation test showed that the independent variables that had a significant relationship with the Incidence Rate (IR) of tuberculosis is treatment coverage in Bojongsari District (p = 0.000). Meanwhile, the results of the correlation test between healthy home coverage, TB treatment coverage, and TB treatment success rates in Depok City showed an insignificant relationship. The results of other analyzes showed that the coverage of healthy homes in Depok City had a weak negative correlation (r = -0.173), TB treatment coverage had a weak positive correlation (r = 0.184), and the success rate of TB treatment had a strong negative correlation (r = -0.584).
Succes rate of TB treatment is an important indicator of the Natinal TB control program. The main focus of TB control program DOTS strategy is to break the chain of TB transmission. Tostmann A, et al (2008) showed that through 13-20% sputum smear negative pulmonary tuberculosis patients can spread TB the bacteria. BBKPM Bandung as one of CGU DOTS strategy has lower treatment succes rate of the national targets.Purpose: To study factors that influence the treatment succes rate of compare with both smear positve and negative pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Those are age, gender, occupation, treatment compliance (factor individu) and regimen, dose, duration of treatment, comorbid HIV and DM (drug and disease). Indicator of treatment succes are the conversion of sputum result examination and the gain weight.Study design: a retrospective cohort study.Samples: the pulmonary TB patient data recorded at TB 01 yeras 2009-2011. The number of TB patients with sputum smear positive are 461 and negative are 292.Analysis: Multivariable logistic regression.Result: OR treatment succes among sputum smear-negative pulmonary TB patients 1,4 (CI: 0,7-3,0) and among sputum smear positive pulmonary Tb patients who adhere to treatment is 1,1 (CI:0,6-2,2) after controlling for age, sex, and occupation.Suggestion: Enhancing the role of the PMO to increase the treatment adherence rate, treat the TB patients with HIV and DM co-infection.
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that remains a significant public health problem globally, including in Indonesia. TB treatment is a key component of TB control and elimination efforts, aiming to cure patients, prevent death or disability due to TB, and reduce the risk of transmission. In 2023, South Jakarta ranked third in the number of drug-sensitive TB (DS-TB) case detections in DKI Jakarta Province, with a total of 11,278 cases detected (99% of the estimated 11,411 cases). However, the high case detection rate has not been matched by the treatment success rate. The treatment success rate among those who were diagnosed and treated has not yet reached the national target, standing at only 80.89%.This study aims to provide an overview of the problem and identify factors influencing treatment success among TB patients in South Jakarta in 2023, using a retrospective cohort design. Variables analyzed included age, sex, employment status, history of previous treatment, HIV status, comorbid diabetes mellitus (DM), type of anti-TB drug regimen, and type of health facility. Among the 4,542 patients analyzed, 65% successfully completed TB treatment, with a cumulative survival probability at the end of follow-up of 4.36%, and a median overall survival of 6 months. Two variables were identified as significant predictors of TB treatment success: type of health facility and comorbid diabetes mellitus. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to strengthening TB control programs, particularly in the management of patients with comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus. Furthermore, these results may serve as a reference for future research exploring the relationship between comorbid conditions and TB treatment outcomes, as well as supporting the integration of more effective health services.
