Nuning Maria Kiptiyah, MPH, Dr. PH Skabies adalah penyakit infeksi kulit menular yang disebabkan oleh Sarcoptes scabiei varian hominis yang dapat ditularkan melalui kontak langsung dan tidak langsung. Skabies merupakan masalah kesehatan di wilayah iklim tropis dan subtropis. Jumlah penderita skabies di dunia lebih dari 300 juta setiap tahunnya. Prevalensi skabies di Indonesia masih cukup tinggi karena Indonesia termasuk negara tropis, yaitu sekitar 627% dari populasi umum dan cenderung lebih tinggi pada anak dan remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian skabies di Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Aziz Cigombong Kabupaten Bogor jawa Barat tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan wawancara, observasi dan pemeriksaan fisik sebanyak 236 santri. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara total sampling dan analisis yang digunakan dengan metode Regresi Cox. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi skabies sebesar 48,7%, jenis kelamin (PR 2,079 95% CI 1,392-3,104), pengetahuan tentang skabies (PR 1,671 95% CI 1,0012,788), kebersihan tempat tidur (PR 1,506 95% CI 1,017-2,232), menggunakan tempat tidur bersama (PR 1,645 95% CI 1,033-2,621), dan kepadatan hunian (PR 1,865 95% CI 1,128-3,085) mempunyai hubungan bermakna dengan kejadian skabies. Jenis kelamin merupakan faktor yang paling ominan terhadap kejadian skabies, yaitu santri laki-laki berisiko 2,079 kali (95% CI 1,392-3,104) untuk terjadi skabies dibandingkan dengan santri perempuan. Menggunakan tempat tidur bersama merupakan faktor yang paling besar kontribusinya terhadap kejadian skabies yaitu 63,96%, artinya 63,96% kejadian skabies dapat dieliminasi atau dikurangi bila santri tidak menggunakan tempat tidur bersama/berpindah –pindah tempat tidur. Scabies is the health problem in tropical and subtropical climates. The number of people with scabies in the world is more than 300 million every year. Prevalence of scabies in Indonesia is still quite high, which is about 6-27% of the general population and tends to be higher in children and adolescents. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors related with the incidence of scabies in Miftahul Aziz Boarding School Cigombong Bogor West Java in 2018. This research using cross sectional design by interview, observation and physical examination 236 students, total sampling and the analysis using Cox Regresssion method. The analysis showed that the prevalence of scabies was 48.7%, sex (PR 2.079 95% CI 1,392-3,104), knowledge of scabies (PR 1.671 95% CI 1,001-2,788), bed cleanliness (PR 1.506 95% CI 1.017- 2,232), shared bed (PR 1.645 95% CI 1.033-2,621), and occupancy density (PR 1.865 95% CI 1.128-3.085) had significant association with the incidence of scabies. Sex was the most dominant factor with the incidence of scabies, the male student had 2.079 times (95% CI 1.392-3.104) for being scabies than the female student. Sharing a bed is the most contributing factor with the incidence of scabies 63,96%, it means 63.96% the incidence of scabies could be eliminated or reduced when santri not sharing a bed or moved to another bed. Background : Scabies is an infectious disease caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei homonis variety. Transmission of scabies can occur directly or indirectly. Scabies disease often occurs in densely inhabited environments, one of which is Islamic boarding schools which have dormitories for students to live in. The incidence of scabies in addition to disturbing the health of students but will have an impact on the performance of students to carry out daily activities. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct research to analyze the relationship between environmental factors and personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies in students in Islamic boarding schools. Objective: To determine the relationship between environmental factors and personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies in students at Islamic boarding school X in Bogor City in 2022. Methods: Cross sectional study conducted at 1 Islamic boarding school in Bogor City. 84 students were selected by random sampling to become research respondents. The research was conducted using a questionnaire and direct environmental data collection. The data that has been obtained will be subjected to univariate and bivariate statistical tests. Results: As many as 65 people (77.4%) had scabies, and 19 people (22.6%) did not have scabies. There is no significant relationship between environmental factors, namely temperature and humidity with the incidence. Meanwhile, personal hygiene factors such as hand hygiene, nail hygiene, skin hygiene, towel cleanliness and clothing hygiene have a significant relationship with the incidence of scabies. Skin disease is still a relatively high health problem in Indonesia and students living in Islamic boarding schools are at greater risk of developing skin diseases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between individual factors including hand washing behavior with soap, sharing personal utensils, family history of skin diseases, and the immune system, as well as dormitory condition factors including water conditions, room humidity, and residential density on the incidence of skin diseases in students at Islamic Boarding School 'X' for Boys. This study used a cross-sectional study design because the measured conditions described the conditions when data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire regarding the Potential for Environmental-Based Diseases in Pesantren to 71 students at Pesantren X with the help of teachers and secondary data from Pesantren X regarding the list of dorm rooms, the size of the dorm rooms, and a list of the distribution of the students' dormitory rooms. The results of the study were as many as 35 students (49.3%) had experienced skin diseases and 36 other students (50.7%) had never experienced skin diseases. The types of skin diseases that have been experienced by students are ringworm, water fleas, impetigo, leprosy, boils, chickenpox, warts, scabies, herpes, tinea versicolor, eczema, vitiligo, and rosacea. The most common skin disease experienced by students was tinea versicolor as many as 16 students (22.5%) and the least experienced was chickenpox, only 1 student (1.4%). There was no significant relationship between individual factors and dormitory conditions on the incidence of skin diseases in students at Pesantren 'X' for Boys. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further research to analyze other factors that have a significant relationship to the incidence of skin diseases, but it is still necessary to increase the application of personal hygiene and maintain the environmental conditions of the boarding school dormitory in order to avoid various diseases.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan rendah 1,5%, pengetahuan cukup 44,6% dan pengetahuan baik 53,8%. Ada 2 faktor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengetahuan remaja yakni jenis kelamin (p-value 0,025) dan pengalaman pernah mendapat informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi (p-value 0,001). Persentase pengetahuan baik dan cukup ini diharapkan pihak Pondok Pesantren dapat memberikan kebijakan yang tujuannya meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi agar pengetahuan responden baik.

Lack of knowledge about reproductive health in adolescents will pose various health risks for adolescents. In boarding schools which are generally teenagers, problems often occur due to lack of knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence adolescent knowledge about reproductive health in the Luhur Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School. The design of this study was a cross sectional descriptive analytic study with an accidental sampling technique totaling 65 respondents. Data collection tool uses a questionnaire.
The results showed low knowledge of 1.5%, sufficient knowledge 44.6% and good knowledge 53.8%. There are 2 significant factors influencing adolescents knowledge, namely gender (p-value 0,025) and experience of being informed about reproductive health (p-value 0,001). This percentage of good and sufficient knowledge is expected by the Islamic Boarding School to provide policies whose aim is to increase reproductive health knowledge so that respondents' knowledge is good.
