Abstrak:
PT XYZ adalah industri manufaktur yang memiliki proses produksi yang menghasilkan panas dan berpotensi menimbulkan heat stress bagi pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat keluhan subjektif akibat tekanan panas pada pekerja di area fermentasi kedelai dan pemasakan PT XYZ. Penelitian dilakukan pada 55 responden dengan desain studi cross sectional deskriptif. Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) digunakan untuk mengukur risiko tekanan panas. Kuesioner menilai keluhan subjektif pekerja akibat tekanan panas. Hasil menunjukkan indeks WBGT rata-rata di area adalah 27,35°C - 32,29°C. Terdapat 70,9% responden mengalami tekanan panas dan 54,5% mengalami keluhan ringan. Keluhan subjektif utama yaitu banyak berkeringat (67,3%) dan merasa haus (50,9%). Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat keluhan subjektif, yaitu kejadian tekanan panas (p value= 0,001) dan beban kerja (p value= 0,019). Rekomendasi dari segi teknis, administratif, maupun personal dibutuhkan untuk meminimalisasi keluhan subjektif dan dampak kesehatan akibat tekanan panas.

Questionnaires assessed worker's subjective complaints from heat stress. Results showed WBGT index in the average area are 27,35°C - 32,29°C. About 70,9% respondents experienced heat stress and 54,5% suffered minor complaints. The most subjective complaints were excessive sweating (67,3%) and feeling thirsty (50,9%). Factors related to the level of subjective complaints were heat stress (p value= 0,001) and workload (p value= 0,019). Hence, the recommendation such as engineering, administrative, and personal control are needed to minimize the subjective complaints and adverse health effect of heat stress.

Abstrak:
Tesis ini mengkaji implementasi sistem investigasi, tipe-tipe kecelakaan kerja dan penyebabnya pada industri manufaktur sepatu dengan fokus menganalisis kecelakaan kerja yang sering terjadi beserta faktor penyebab dasar yang berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dan unit analisis yang digunakan adalah data kecelakaan kerja tercatat 2009-2012 dan hasil wawancara. Strategi yang digunakan adalah analisis hasil wawancara dan data sekunder.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah angka kecelakaan kerja selama 2009-2012 menurun. Tipe kecelakaan terbanyak adalah kecelakaan tersangkut di atau pada (tertusuk jarum), di area NCVS karena mesin jahit. Penyebab dasar diketahui datang dari sisi manajemen dan kelemahan sistem investigasi terletak pada kurangnya prosedur tertulis, kurangnya kompetensi/pelatihan, kurangnya manajemen/supervisi dan kurangnya pengetahuan.
This research aim to study the implementation of accident investigation system, the type of accidents and the causes occur in shoe manufacturing industry with focus analyzing the most frequent accident happened and their contributory causes. This research character and approach is descriptive qualitative with the unit of analysis are the 2009-2012 accident reports data and interview results. The strategy being used to collect data is interview and analyzing secondary data.
The conclusion which can be pulled that the number of accident in PT ADF during 2009-2012 is declining. Type of accident mostly caught in or on (caught in needle), at NCVS area because of sewing/stitching machine. The contributory cause comes mostly from management side and for the accident investigation system weaknesses are inadequate written procedure, inadequate training/competence, inadequate management/supervision and lack of knowledge.

Abstrak:
Pekerjaan pengelasan memiliki berbagai bahaya yang kompleks, termasukbahaya sinar ultraviolet B. Dampak bahaya adalah Merusak mata dan kulitpada tubuh pekerja, (Winiarto et al. 2013). Menurut American WeldingSociety, efek akut dari paparan ultraviolet (UV) cahaya meliputiphotokeratitis. Penelitian ini pada 52 Operator las bengkel resmi disepanjang Jalan Raya Setu Bantar Gebang, Mustika Jaya Kota Bekasi,menemukan 39 operator dengan kasus photokeratitis (75% dari populasi).Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metoda survei dan datadikumpulkan secara cross sectional. Survei dilakukan dengan menggunakankuesioner, observasi dan wawancara serta pemeriksaan visual yangdilakukan seorang dokter untuk mengetahui responden mengalamiphotokeratitis. Pengukuran radiasi menggunakan UV Light Meter UV-Bdilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat sinar UV-B yang memajan operatorpengelasan. Salah satu faktor yang kuat terkait dengan kasus ini intensitastinggi UV-B radiasi dengan rata-rata 99,2 μW/cm2. Faktor-faktor lainseperti umur, tahun bekerja, waktu paparan dan jarak ke sumber pengelasantelah menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan juga, namun penggunaanAPD tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan untuk kasus photokeratitis.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang analisis penyebab traffic accident yang terjadi sepanjang tahun 2012 di PT Pamapersada Nusantara Jobsite Kideco, Batu Kajang, Kalimantan Timur dengan menggunakan metode telaah data sekunder dan diklasifikasikan ke dalam Human Factor Analysis and Classification System for Mining Industry (HFACS-MI) untuk melihat faktor penyebab berkaitan dengan unsafe act, precondition of unsafe act, dan unsafe leadership. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar traffic accident terjadi karena unsafe act dan terdapat manifestasi juga dari precondition of unsafe act dan unsafe leadership. Skripsi ini membahas mengenai kelelahan pada pengemudi Bus Malam CepatAntar Kota Antar Provinsi PO. X tahun 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kelelahan pada pengemudi berdasarkan faktor usia,status gizi, kondisi kesehatan masa kerja, waktu tidur, monotoni kerja, jadwal kerja dan durasi mengemudi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 33 (97,1 %) pengemudi BusMalam Cepat Antar Kota Antar Provinsi PO.
