This operation research is to find out drug planning and controlling at Zahirah General Hospital in 2010. The first step of this research was qualitative one, about drug logistic cycle of Zahirah General Hospital, mainly on planning and controlling. It was done by deep interviews and observations. The second step was conducting ABC and ABC critical index analyses. The third step was forecasting the use of group A Critical Index drugs in 2010 by using the 10 time series method of WinQSB 2.0 Version program, the best method is chosen by the smallest bias parameter. Based on this information, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Re Order Point (ROP) were calculated.
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya permasalahan dalam monitoring kegiatan teknisi dalam melakukan perawatan ruangan di RSU. Manuaba sehingga kerusakan yang terjadi terlambat diketahui. Masalah lain yang timbul adalah proses pelaporan yang belum berjalan baik karena belum diimplementasikan perangkat lunak untuk mendukung proses pemeliharaan ruangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak perancangan perangkat lunak sistem stiker kode batang untuk membantu proses monitoring pemeliharaan ruangan di RSU. Manuaba. Penelitian ini mempergunakan desain penelitian kualitatif. Dalam pelaksanaannya peneliti akan melakukan black box testing pada perangkat lunak, observasi partisipatif, dan wawancara terstruktur. Untuk meningkatkan validitas data peneliti melakukan triangulasi metode dan triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan perangkat lunak sistem kode batang dalam proses pemeliharaan ruangan di RSU. Manuaba telah mampu meningkatkan disiplin kerja teknisi, membantu proses pelaporan, dan menurunkan keluhan konsumen. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan sistem stiker kode batang dalam proses pemeliharaan ruangan di RSU. Manuaba dapat membantu dalam pengawasan disiplin kerja teknisi, membantu proses pelaporan, dan menurunkan keluhan konsumen. Lack of maintenance technician monitoring caused facility damage at Manuaba Hospital. As no viable system of post-maintenance monitoring was in place, recognition of this damage was delayed. As the damage report process was dependant entirely on technician self-reporting, ?human nature? delayed the reporting process, as no verifiable and consistent computer-managed reporting and verification process was in place, nor was computer software available to aid in this process. The goal of this article is to evaluate the implementation of a barcode sticker software system (?BSSS?) to support the room maintenance process at Manuaba Hospital. In this qualitative study, both software black box testing utilizing a barcode sticker system, participative observation, and a structured interview of maintenance technicians was utilized. Validity was tested utilizing triangulation. Research proved that implementation of BSSS for room maintenance process in Manuaba Hospital could increase technician discipline, improve the reporting process, and decrease consumer complaints. Additionally, this study suggests that BSSS may have the possibility for use in other areas at Manuaba Hospital.
