This study aims to determine the factors associated to menstrual hygiene behaviors among female students at SMP Negeri 141 Jakarta in 2020. This research is a quantitative study with cross-sectional methods by primary data which is conducted at SMP Negeri 141 Jakarta in June 2020 with a total sample of 201 respondents. Menstrual hygiene behaviors is the dependent variable, while knowledge, attitudes, availability of menstrual hygiene facilities at school, information exposure about menstruation, teacher support, and peer support are the independent variables. The data used is the results of selfadministered online questionnaires and analyzed by chi-square test. Based on analysis, it is found that the highest proportion in the group of students who had bad menstrual hygiene behaviors is 82,6%, low knowledge 95,5%, negative attitudes 50,7%, the availability of complete menstrual hygiene facilities at school 79,1%, lack of information exposure about menstruation 92,5%, lack of teacher support 62,2%, and enough of peer support 79,1%. There is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude with menstrual hygiene behaviors. The results of the study suggest to establish partnerships between schools and local health facilities to provide health promotion in the form of lecture and counseling conducted by health workers.

The level of community participation in visiting posyandu in the working area of the Puskesmas Air Putih is 18.2%. This coverage is below the coverage of Samarinda City 24.38% and East Kalimantan Province 39.81%. This condition makes many children under five whose nutritional status is not monitored. This study aims to determine the behavioral determinants of Posyandu visits to Toddler mothers. This study used a cross-sectional design, data collection was carried out through home visits by filling out the questionnaires independently by the respondents. The research sample was 139 Toddler mothers who were randomly selected at 13 Posyandu. Multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression. The results showed that 74.8% of Toddler mothers had regular visits to Posyandu. Factors that were significantly related to the behavior of visiting Posyandu on Toddler mothers were work (p=0.08), knowledge (p=0.001), and attitude (p=0.005). Knowledge is the most dominant factor in this study. Mothers with high knowledge have a 4.5 times greater chance of making routine visits to Posyandu after controlling for work and attitude variables. Suggestions for the Samarinda City Posyandu Pokjanal Team to evaluate D/S achievements and propose a Probebaya budget for socializing the importance of routine visits to Posyandu every month.
Currently, Indonesia is facing three major nutritional challenges: undernutrition, overnutrition, and micronutrient deficiencies. Anemia remains a significant public health issue that requires attention. Female adolescents, especially school-aged girls, are particularly susceptible to iron deficiency anemia. This vulnerability is due to several factors, including monthly menstruation and improper dietary habits. Therefore, it is important to instill preventive behaviors against anemia from an early age to avoid long-term health consequences. This study aims to analyze the determinants influencing anemia prevention behaviors among female students at SMKN 37 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A total of 110 participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test to examine the relationship between various factors and anemia prevention behaviors at SMKN 37 Jakarta. The results showed that 54.5% of respondents demonstrated good anemia prevention behaviors. The study assessed knowledge (p = 1.00), attitude (p = 0.001), subjective norms (p = 0.47), and perceived behavioral control (p = 0.001). Attitude and perceived behavioral control were found to have a significant relationship with anemia prevention behaviors. Therefore, support from various stakeholders is needed to promote anemia prevention and raise awareness among female adolescents.
Tujuan peneltian ini adalah diketahuinya proporsi pemberian ASI eksklusif dan tingkat kecerdasan serta hubungan antara durasi pemberian ASI dengan kecerdasan anak pada siswa-siswi SDSN Pekayon Jaya VI Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain crosssectional model regresi logistik ganda dengan responden siswa/i kelas 1-3 yang berumur 7-9 tahun dan ibunya sebanyak 175 responden. Namun jumlah sampel yang terkumpul hanya 166 (94,8%) responden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2013. Pada siswa-siswi dilakukan tes kecerdasan dengan menggunakan tes Raven sedangkan ibunya mengisi kuesioner.
Hasil penelitian didapatkan tingkat kecerdasan tinggi 57,2%, rata-rata 36,7% dan rendah 6%. Variabel yang berhubungan dengan kecerdasan adalah durasi pemberian ASI (p=0,043, OR=0,487, 95%CI=0,254-0,932) dan Pendidikan ibu (p=0,047, OR=3,730, 95%CI=1,119-12,432). Pendidikan ibu adalah faktor yang pengaruhnya lebih besar terhadap kecerdasan, bahwa ibu yang berpendidikan tinggi berpeluang memiliki anak dengan kecerdasan tinggi yaitu : 3,556 kali lebih besar dibandingkan ibu berpendidikan rendah setelah dikontrol variabel durasi ASI.
Saran untuk Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bekasi agar menyelenggarakan berbagai aktivitas seperti seminar/pelatihan/konseling bagi orang tua murid tentang pentingnya peran orang tua terhadap tumbuh kembang anak.
The purpose this of research was to the determine the proportion of exclusive breastfeeding and the level of intellegence also the relationship between duration of breastfeeding with the level of students intellegence in SDSN Pekayon Jaya VI Bekasi city. This research used a cross-sectional design employed multiple logistic regression analisys technique. Students as the respondents age 7 ? 9 year-old who were selected using systematic random sampling technique and his mothers was about 175 respondents. However collected just the number of sampels was 166 (94,8%) responden. This study was conducted in May 2013 from second week to third week. The students intellegence was tested using the Raven test while her mothers was requested to fill out a questionnaire about their breastfeeding history, background caracteristic and parenting style.
The results showed the level of childrens intellegence was high (57.2%), average was (36.7%) and low was (6%). Those variables which related to the intellegence level were duration of breastfeeding (p = 0.043, OR = 0.487, 95% CI = 0.254-0.932) and the level of mothers education (p = 0.047, OR = 3.730, 95% CI = 1.119 to 12.432). The mothers education level is one of the factors which has higher effect. Againts the childrens intellegence. Those mothers who have high level education will have probability 3,556 to have their children with high level intellegence (after controlling the duration breastfeeding).
The following sugestion is made to the Department of Education Bekasi city to organize activities relevant to the inproving of parents in growth and development of their children through seminars / training / counseling.
Tesis ini membahas tentang gangguan menstruasi dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi gangguan menstruasi pada siswi kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 5 Kota Bekasi Tahun 2013. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan disain cross sectional, pengumpulan data secara angket dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, faktor yang berhubungan dengan tindakan untuk mengatasi gangguan menstruasi pada siswi kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 5 Kota Bekasi Tahun 2013 adalah anjuran/dorongan. Responden yang mendapatkan anjuran/dorongan mempunyai peluang hampir 5 kali untuk melakukan tindakan mengatasi gangguan menstruasi dibandingkan yang tidak mendapatkan anjuran atau dorongan.
This thesis discusses menstrual disorders and factors associated to the actions taken to overcome menstrual disorders in X and XI grade schoolgirl at SMAN 5 Bekasi in 2013. Quantitative research with cross sectional design, data collection questionnaire using questionnaires. The results showed that factors associated with actions taken to overcome menstrual disorders in X and XI grade schoolgirl at SMAN 5 Bekasi in 2013 was cues to action (the advice / encouragement). Respondents who received the advice / encouragement have opportunities almost 5 times to take action to overcome menstrual disorders than those who did not receive advice or encouragement.
