Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proporsi kurang gizi kelompok kasus sebesar 29.17% lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis T-test menjelaskan bahwa anak dengan gizi buruk memiliki risiko TB paru dibandingkan dengan anak dengan status gizi normal (OR 3.54; 95% CI 1.56-8.04; p 0,002). Hasil analisis regresi logistik menjelaskan bahwa anak dengan malnutrisi berisiko tuberkulosis paru 3.37 dibandingkan dengan anak dengan status gizi normal setelah dikontrol oleh variabel kondisi atap, pencahayaan, riwayat imunisasi dasar, dan riwayat kontak kasus tuberculosis (95% CI 1.10-10.25; p 0.034). Kegiatan preventif dan promotif merupakan upaya dalam pencegahan dan pengendalian tuberkulosis paru khususnya pada anak. Upaya preventif dapat dilakukan melalui Gerakan Temukan Tuberkulosis Obati Sampai Sembuh (TOSS TB). Untuk memperkuat Gerakan TOSS TB, Pemerintah bersama masyarakat dapat melakukan Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS).
The training program prepared by the company for workers is one of the occupational safety and health (OSH) programs most widely used by companies for intervention. Training is useful for increasing the knowledge, skills and behavior of workers in dealing with hazards that exist in the workplace. This research uses descriptive analysis method that focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the HSE Mandatory training that has been carried out. Measurements were made using a four-step evaluation model from Kirkpatrick (1970) through the assessment of reactions, learning, behavior, and results. The results of the study indicate that the learning program that has been implemented is effective. However, there are still some things that can be improved so that the quality of learning is better and able to contribute as a leading indicator of (OSH) performance.
Occupational Safety and Health Management System is a system used to manage Occupational Safety and Health. The purpose of implementing OHSMS is to create a work environment that is free from harm or illness due to work. However, along with the development of OHS, it is not accompanied by an increase in OHS performance. It can be seen from several studies that show that there is no difference in OHS performance between certified and non-OHS certified companies. Many factors affect the effectiveness of OHSMS implementation. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors influence the effectiveness of the implementation of OHSMS through a systematical Literature Review. The study was conducted with 4 search portals namely Scopus, Proquest, Science Direct and Sage. Articles published between 2010-2020. From the literature search results there are 40 articles that meet the criteria. Research results indicate that there are internal and external factors that affect the effectiveness of the implementation of OHSMS. . Internal factors that influence the effectiveness of OHSMS implementation are management commitment, OHS leadership and policies, employee participation, OHS culture, employee morale, sufficient resources, financial performance, OHS cost allocation, company size, internal incentives, worker safety behavior, communication and consultation OHS, OHS rules and procedures, OHS promotion, integration, continuous improvement, the process of identifying hazards and risk reduction, developing and implementing OHS risk control strategiesAnd external factors are enforcement of OSH regulations, OSH support and authority, external audit certification, external incentives, pressure from customers, market competition, company image, international trends
Ship fires are still a significant contributor to accidents in Indonesia and abroad. Failure to respond to a fire emergency can cause great losses such as damage to property, pollution of the environment, damage to reputation and even loss of life. Continued efforts are needed to ensure the readiness of the crew, programs, facilities and infrastructure as well as management can respond to fire emergencies properly. This study aims to explain the preparedness of a fire emergency on a delay ship based on SOLAS CHAPTER II-2 regulations and supporting regulations such as ISM Code Chapter 8, SOLAS Chapter (III, IV and V) in the company PT. ABC in 2020. This research is a descriptive analytic study by analyzing secondary data at PT. ABC on the regulation of SOLAS and ISM Code, next is to provide recommendations from the results of the analysis. The results showed the percentage value for emergency response programs, especially programmed fire hazard identification is 50% level of compliance with the standard, for facilities and infrastructure are: 1. Compliance with LSA (Life Saving Appliances) in general from 6 categories already fulfilled, there are categories that fulfill 67%, 2. Compliance with Fire Protection and Fire Fighting Equipment from 11 categories in general has fulfilled there are several categories whose fulfillment is below 100%, Air-recharging system for SCBAs (0%), Self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBAs) (80%), Fixed fire-detection and alarm systems (60%), Wheeled (mobile) fire extinguishers (71%) xi 3. Fulfillment of Fixed firefighting systems in general have met, of the 7 categories there are parts that are still below 100%, 4. Fulfillment of radio and navigational equipment there are parts below 100%. In general, the overall level of preparedness for tugboat emergency response at PT. ABC of SOLAS and ISM is in the range of 50-100%, the component that needs attention from management is the availability of tools to conduct inspections, testing and maintenance in accordance with the standards, so that compliance can be maintained and improved continuously.
Safety Observation Reporting (POK) is implemented in the oil and gas industry at PT X, Riau Province to try to reduce the number of work accidents. The purpose of this study is to examine the safety observation reporting as a tool used to reduce the number of accidents. This POK is a modified version of the DuPont STOP Card. This study uses a descriptive analysis method that focuses on the study of safety observation reporting. Accident figures were also collected to compare with the number of safety observation reporting. A questionnaire of 15 questions was also given to 50 workers to observe workers' perceptions of the applied POK. Scatterplots are used to establish the correlation between issuance reporting and occupational accident incidents. The results showed that the safety observation reporting was associated with a reduction in the occurrence of accidents. Safety observation reporting positively influences the mindset of workers towards implemented safe work practices. However, company management needs to pay attention to the completion of finding progress status of safety observation reporting whose completion status is still pending
Diabetes is a non-infectious disease to 4 causes of death in Indonesia, prevalence of 6.9%,occurs at ≥ 15 years old (Kemenkes, 2014), Nearly 90% are Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus(T2DM) caused by unhealthy lifestyles. PT.X employees suffer from T2DM with aprevalence of 6.5%. The purpose of this study to analyze patterns of eating and physicalactivity of the patient DMT 2, with qualitative research methods of descriptive analysison 12 respondents. The diet was measured by Food Frequency Quesionnair questionnaireand physical activity with International Physical Activity Quesionnair, and observationand in-depth interviews were conducted. The results showed that the characteristics of 12respondents were ≥ 40 years old (75%), male (91.7%), and respondents who had a familyhistory of DM (58.3%). Irregular eating patterns, excessive carbohydrate consumption orhigh Glycemic Index (GI). The activity of respondents in the category of mild and rarelyexercise. Mean Total Metabolic Equivalent (MET) respondents from total work activities,transportation, domestic, exercise is below 600 MET-minutes/week, Respondentsreasoned no time and lazy to exercise. Suggested health promotion programs on healthyor low GI foods for employees and their wives, if possible company provides healthyfoods and create sports programs.Keywords: Dietary Petterns, Occupational Health, Physical Activity, Type 2 DiabetesMellitus.
