Construction is one of the sectors that has a high risk of work accidents, in 2020 this sector has 55.2% accident rate. Human factor is one of the factors causing work accidents, 70% of work accidents occur due to unsafe actions. The purpose of this study is to see the Project Z PT X risk perception level, the relationship between independent and dependent variable, and to explain the condition of risk perception that has been run by Project Z. This research is a semi-quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was 82 people with a sample size of 67 people. The results showed that most workers perception in Project Z were bad (55.7%). Risk voluntarily, immediacy of effect, knowledge of risk, catastrophic potential, and severity of consequences have the largest bad percentage, and there is a significant relationship on all research variables. Multivariate analysis explained that 4 variables had the most significant relationship, namely immediacy of effect, catastrophic potential, common dread, and severity of consequences. For short-term solutions, Project Z can improve supervision on high risk categorized job, for long term Project Z can improve hazard and risk identification and communicating them to all workers
In Indonesia in 2020 there were 177,000 cases of work accidents where the transportation sector contributed 9.3%. Work accidents can occur because of an unsafe work environment and unsafe behavior that comes from humans. One way to approach safety that can be used and focuses on the human factor is through a safety climate. Regarding the work safety climate at PT. XYZ, there has never been a work safety climate measurement. And this study aims to analyze the work safety climate at PT.XYZ. The measurement of the work safety climate in this study was carried out using the NOSACQ-50 method approach. Where the instrument in this study using the NOSACQ-50 questionnaire. And after processing the data, the results of the work safety climate level at PT. XYZ are with a score of 3.03, which means it is in the good category
This thesis discusses about the analysis at risk behavior unsafe behavior on workers in the furnace area PT. X. This research is a quantitative research using cross sectional study design and total of 78 respondents. The data used in this research is primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from questionnaires filled by respondents while secondary data obtained through corporate documents. This research uses Coopers Reciprocal Safety Culture model of Behavioral Approach dimension.
The training program prepared by the company for workers is one of the occupational safety and health (OSH) programs most widely used by companies for intervention. Training is useful for increasing the knowledge, skills and behavior of workers in dealing with hazards that exist in the workplace. This research uses descriptive analysis method that focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the HSE Mandatory training that has been carried out. Measurements were made using a four-step evaluation model from Kirkpatrick (1970) through the assessment of reactions, learning, behavior, and results. The results of the study indicate that the learning program that has been implemented is effective. However, there are still some things that can be improved so that the quality of learning is better and able to contribute as a leading indicator of (OSH) performance.
The trends using contractors manpower to carry out the work inclines from time to time, especially in oil and gas sector. This condition gives greater risks to the health and safety of contractor's manpower, so that they need a special program to manage the health and safety of contractor’s manpower. PT Z has run this program which is called Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management (CHESM). There was a tendency the inclination of CHESM rates of the contractors which mean the contractors have managed HES better in their working activities. It is necessary to evaluate the realization of PT Z program to know how far the effectiveness of the program in increasing the contractors ability.
The Author manages descriptive research using qualitative method to describe the situation objectively as the main reason. The primary and secondary data are collected by interviewing employees, field observation, library studies and document analyses. Based on the result of the research, it is found the gaps between the theories and the realization of the program stages. It really influences the effectiveness of the program. The gaps happen more when they carry them out in the field.
