Nutritional status is one of many determinants of health status. This research aims to describe the association between breakfast consumption, individual characteristics, energy and nutrient intake, snacking habit, physical activity, sleep duration, and stress of college students in Engineering Faculty Universitas Indonesia. Nutritional status is measured by measuring height and weight. Data about breakfast consumption, individual characteristics, snacking habit, sleep duration, and stress were collected by using self-registered questionnaire. Energy and nutrient intake were collected by conducting interview using semiquantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire. Physical activity was measured using Global Physical Activity Questionnaire by conducting interview. This research was quantitative research using cross-sectional study design involving 142 respondents. The sampling technique used systematical simple random. The data were collected during April-May 2015. The data were analyzed using Chi-Square test. The result shows that sex (P value=0,015), smoking status (P value=0,008), energy intake (P value=0,000), carbohydrate intake (P value=0,025), and fat intake (P value=0,004) were statistically associated with nutritional status. College students are suggested to eat more healthily and manage their physical activity. The faculty is suggested to support having a collaborative event related to nutrition and health.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan siklus menstruasi pada mahasiswi tiga fakultas terpilih di Universitas Indonesia.Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain crosssectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2015 di Gedung Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 155 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengisian kuesioner dan pengukuran antropometri serta analisisnya menggunakan uji chi-squareuntuk melihat hubungan antar variabel.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 58,7% responden memiliki siklus menstruasi tidak teratur. Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara persen lemak tubuh danstres dengan siklus menstruasi.Mahasiswi yang mengalami siklus menstruasi tidak teratur diharapkan dapat segera berkonsultasi ke pelayanan kesehatan agar dapat segera diketahui penyebabnya serta jika ada masalah kesehatan reproduksi dapat segera terdeteksi dan ditanggulangi. Energy derived from macronutrients is needed to carry out body metabolism, physical activity, and growth. Nutritional problems brought on by inappropriate eating patterns or unbalanced energy and nutrient consumption habits. On the other hand, a balanced and quality intake of energy and nutrients can maintain a person's physical health and mental stability. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between mindful eating and other factors with energy intake in Students of Nutritional Programs at FKM UI. The dependent variable of this study was energy intake, while the independent variables were mindful eating, nutritional knowledge, allowance, stress level, snack consumption and Sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) and sleep duration. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from March to June 2022 for 136 nutrition students of class 2019 to 2021. Data was obtained from food record 2x24 hours and online questionnaire. The result show that as many as 8.1% of student consumed high energy intake (fulfilled > 80% of Recommended Dietary Allowances). The result also showed that stress level, snack consumption and SSBs were related to students? energy intake. Researcher suggest to university to provide education related to balanced nutrition guidelines.
Asupan mikronutrien inadekuat dapat berdampak buruk bagi imunitas tubuh, terutama saat pandemi Covid-19. Asupan mikronutrien mahasiswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti pengetahuan gizi, tingkat stress, uang saku, media sosial, dan konsumsi. Untuk melihat hubungan antara asupan mikronutrien dengan faktor-faktor tersebut, dilakukan penelitian cross-sectional menggunakan data sekunder tahun 2020 yang melibatkan 138 mahasiswa S1 Gizi Universitas Indonesia. Ditemukan persentase asupan vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, asam folat, zat besi dan seng tergolong cukup (≥70% AKG) adalah 53,6%, 16,7%, 1,4%, 0%, 22,5%, 17,4%, 1,4%, 1,4%, dan 27,5%. Hasil analisis dengan chi-square menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan adanya hubungan signifikan antara asupan seng dengan penggunaan instagram (p-value= 0,002), asupan vitamin C (p-value=0,010), asupan asam folat (p- value=0,000), dan asupan seng (p-value=0,018) dengan konsumsi sayuran, asupan vitamin C (p-value=0,000), vitamin D (p-value=0,007), vitamin E (p-value=0,000), vitamin B6 (p-value=0,000), asam folat (p-value=0,007), dan zat besi (p-value=0,007) dengan konsumsi buah, asupan vitamin B12 (p-value=0,012) dan seng (p-value=0,027) dengan konsumsi lauk hewani, asupan vitamin C (p-value=0,033), vitamin E (p- value=0,011), dan seng (p-value=0,017) dengan kebiasaan sarapan. Meskipun tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan dengan pengetahuan gizi dan tingkat stress, kecenderungan hubungan masih ditemukan. Dengan demikian, pengetahuan gizi, tingkat stress, media sosial, serta konsumsi merupakan faktor yang penting untuk dipertimbangkan dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan asupan mikronutrien pada mahasiswa. Micronutrient inadequacy can cause effects on the immune system, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Students’ micronutrient intake may be influenced by knowledge, stress levels, pocket money, social media, and consumption. To assess the relationship between micronutrient intake and these factors, a cross-sectional study was conducted using secondary data in 2020 involving 138 students of the Nutrition students in University of Indonesia. This study found that the percentage of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folic acid, iron and zinc adequacy, respectively, was 53.6%, 16.7%, 1.4%, 0 %, 22.5%, 17.4%, 1.4%, 1.4%, and 27.5%. The result of chi-square analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between zinc intake and instagram usage (p-value = 0.002), vitamin C (p-value=0,010), folic acid (p-value=0,000), and zinc (p-value=0,018) intake with vegetable consumption, vitamin C (p-value=0.000), vitamin D (p-value=0.007), vitamin E (p- value=0.000), vitamin B6 (p-value=0.000), folic acid (p-value=0.007), and iron (p- value=0.007) intake with fruit consumption, vitamin B12 (p-value=0.012) and zinc (p- value=0.027) with animal source food consumption, vitamin C (p-value = 0.033), vitamin E (p-value = 0.011), and zinc (p-value = 0.017) intake with breakfast habits. Even though no significant relationship was found with nutritional knowledge and stress levels, the tendencies of the relationship was still found. Therefore, nutritional knowledge, stress levels, social media, and consumption are important factors in order to optimize students’ micronutrient intake.
