Patient safety is an issue for the health care system. The work safety environment of a health care organization, and how employee involvement affects patient safety is critical to improving employee and patient safety. This study used a cross-sectional design with a questionnaire as a measuring tool. A Gallup Q12 Survey on employee engagement and a Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture were conducted. Data were collected in May - June 2020 from a sample of employees and doctors throughout Citra Sari Husada Hospital, and there were 88 samples that could be analyzed. The results of this study, the two cultures in patient safety at Citra Sari Husada Hospital were found to be moderate. In the involvement of employees not involved. Of the 12 patient safety culture composites, the highest mean score was management support for patient safety (62.12%). Bivariate analysis using Pearson correlation was performed, and 11 composites of patient safety culture had a correlation with employee involvement. This research model can explain the patient safety culture by 24.7%. The linear equation of this model is Patient Safety Culture = 44,279 + 0.439 total employee engagement score - 2,844 hours worked / week. The recommendations of this study are for the development of an award-winning system, workload analysis, open-minded input, and continuous workload analysis to improve patient safety culture.
Hasil analisis menjelaskan bahwa 84,8% dari variabel kepuasan karyawan di jelaskan oleh ke 6 kriteria Malcolm Baldrige, dan sisanya sebesar 15,2% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak ada pada penelitian ini.

Hospital is one of organization produce a health services that required to give quality services. One of the key factor to improve a high qualityt is employee satisfaction. This research use Malcolm Baldrige criteria that overall focus, and continues, contained in leadership, strategic planning, Customer focus, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, workforce focus, process management. Research method is the sequential explanatory mixed method design. Sampling technique is total sampling, the survey by distributing questionnaires to all employees Harapan Bunda Hospital.
The results of this study the relationship strong and positive pattern of the six criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige on employee satisfaction. And results of the analysis explains that 84.8% of the variable employee satisfaction described by Malcolm Baldrige criteria and the remaining 15.2% is explained by other variables that do not exist in this study.
Employees are one of the most important resources in achieving success and goals in an organization. One of the important factors in order to achieve optimal work results from an employee is the fulfillment of job satisfaction. Good human resources have qualities that can affect performance. However, no matter how good the plans and supervision are in an organization, if the human resources are less interested and unhappy in doing their work then an organization will not achieve the results it should be able to achieve. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction and individual characteristics on employee performance at Puskesmas Selong. This type of research is descriptive using a cross-sectional study design approach with mixed methods, namely combining quantitative and qualitative methods. There is no effect of job satisfaction simultaneously on the performance of employees at Puskesmas Selong, it can be seen from the p value = 1,000> 0.05. Of the five indicators of job satisfaction variables, only two indicators have an effect on employee performance, namely satisfaction with rewards with a value of p = 0.018 <0.05, and satisfaction with superior supervision with a value of p = 0.029 <0.05. Individual characteristics of employees that affect performance are educational characteristics, it can be seen from the p value = 0,047<0,05. Thus the management of Puskesmas Selong needs to provide an understanding to employees regarding the determination of payment of compensation, approach and communicate more effectively in efforts to improve the supervision system, and provide feedback on the work of employees so that employees can find out their weaknesses or strengths. With more intense communication with employees through regular meetings between leaders and employees, good communication will be established so as to improve the quality of employee work
