Work distress among Electric Rail Train (KRL) drivers is an important issue in urban mass transportation systems because it has the potential to reduce operational safety, work performance, and workers’ psychological well-being. The increasing number of KRL passengers in the Greater Jakarta area, accompanied by high operational demands, shift work systems, punctuality pressure, and technology-based work complexity, is suspected to increase psychosocial hazard exposure among train drivers. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between personal risk factors and occupational risk factors with work distress among KRL drivers of PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia in the Greater Jakarta operational area in 2026. This study employed a quantitative design with a descriptive-analytic and cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 440 train drivers, with a sample of 231 respondents selected using a quota accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, including the NIOSH Generic Job Stress Questionnaire (NIOSH GJSQ), ICAWS, NASA-TLX, JCQ, Job Insecurity Questionnaire, and IFRC. Data analysis was conducted using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with simple Poisson regression to obtain the Prevalence Ratio (PR), and multivariate analysis using modified Poisson regression with robust variance at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that 47.2% of train drivers experienced work distress. Personal factors such as age, marital status, educational level, years of service, and health status were not significantly associated with work distress, while work fatigue was only significant in the bivariate analysis. Occupational factors including workplace conflict, excessive workload, low workload, job control, and job security were significantly associated with work distress in the bivariate analysis. However, multivariate analysis revealed that only workplace conflict (p=0.012: Adjusted PR=0.896: 95% CI=0.822–0.976) and job security (p<0.001: Adjusted PR=0.803: 95% CI=0.744–0.866) were dominant factors associated with work distress among KRL drivers in the Greater Jakarta area. This study concludes that nearly half of KRL drivers experienced work distress and that occupational factors were the primary determinants. Therefore, Occupational Health and Safety based interventions are needed to control psychosocial hazards, strengthen job security, and create a supportive work environment in order to improve operational safety and the psychological well-being of train drivers. Scaffolding is an inseparable part of a construction work. Scaffolding work contributes to the emergence of risk factors for skeletal muscle disorders due to work (gotrak) or musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors for the occurrence of scaffolding at PT X. This type of research was crosssectional with 156 employees as respondents at PT X. Ergonomics risk factor assessment in the workplace is carried out with an approach to assessing the level of occupational risk and subjective complaints of workers. Respondents provided information on individual characteristics, ergonomic risks using the method (Rapid Entire Body Assessment or REBA) with the results achieving high and very high scores. The level of ergonomics risk shows that 66.23% of respondents are in the high risk category and 33.77% of the respondents are in the low risk category. The analysis of cough complaints on workers using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire resulted in the 3 highest complaints, namely neck, shoulders and hands/wrist. This study shows that the risk factors for the occurrence of Gotrak scaffold workers at PT X at 12 months old are age 30 years OR 1.91 (95% CI 1.37-3.25), working period 10 years OR 2.42 (95 % CI 1.39-4.19), awkward posture OR 6.24 (95% CI 2.40-16.21). While the risk factors for gotrak that caused the absence of the last 12 months are age 30 years OR 1.32 (95% CI 1.18-1.76), years of service ≥ 10 years OR 1.65 (95% CI 1.03-2.65), type of work OR 10.98 (95% CI 4.2628.26), REBA score 2.53 (1.78-3.00), demands at work OR 1.65 (95% CI 1.02-2.51), work organization and job contents OR1.44 (95% CI 1.28-2.93, for risk factors for the last 7 days, namely type of work OR 2.79 (95% CI 1.28-6.07), health and wellbeingOR 1.43 (95% CI 1.09-1.84).

Fatigue is a common occurrence in many industries, including the transportation industry in this case particularly in electric train drivers. Activities performed by commuter train drivers have the potential to cause fatigue due to job characteristics of train drivers are at risk of exposure to physical factor (awkward posture), psychosocial factores (effort, reward, overcommitment, monotonous work, social support from co-workers, supervisor and family, work related stress and shift), and individual factors (age, body mass index, smoking status). This research was carried out on the train drivers of UPT Crew Depok PT. KCI. The design of this research is quantitative observational with cross sectional approach. Previous studies have linked the incidence of work fatigue to psychosocial risk factors while only few studies have examined physical risk factors. In addition, the study related to work fatigue in general used questionnaire instrument while in this study in addition to using the questionnaire instrument also made an objective measurement through Salivary Alpha Amylase (SAA) using cocorometer as one of the indicators to measure stress levels and using sleep-2-peak applications to measure work related fatigue. This is the the background to conduct research related to the overview of work related fatigue as well as to analyze the relationship of physical factors, psychosocial, and individual factors to work related fatigue in train drivers of PT. KCI 2018.

This research is about the analysis of related factors that generate stress atworkplace on PT. X. According to Robbins (2006) suggests there are three categories ofpotential stressors which are derived from environmental, organizational, and individualfactors. Supported by a theory, developed by Health, Safety, and Executive (2007), thereare six aspects in management standards that are related to stress at workplace. Based onthis, it can be said that management standards and individual characteristics are factorsthat generate stress at workplace. This is the descriptive analytic with cross sectional design studies. Independentvariables which include on this reasearch are management standards (demands, control, support, relationships, role, and change) and individual characteristics (age, sex, education, marital status, years of service). Dependen variables which include on thisresearch is the incident of stress, experienced by workers at PT. X. With 136 respondents, researcher used chi-square for bivariate analysis. The result, 25 workers (18.4%)experienced severe stress level, 43 workers (31.6%) experienced moderate stress level,39 workers (28.7%) experienced a low stress level, and as many as 29 workers (21.3%)not having a stressed level. Individual characteristics that are proven to be associated withstress events are education level and marital status. Whereas, all management standardsare proven to be related stress at workplace in PT. X.

Name : Indah Sari Budi Ghafara Study Program: Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Title : Analysis of Work Fatigue Risk Factors on Train Driver PT XYZ in 2023. Counsellor : Indri Hapsari Susilowati, S.KM, M.KKK, Ph.D Public transportation is currently people's favorite choice for moving safely and efficiently. One of the public transportation choices for the people of Jakarta is the Mass Rapid Train (MRT). MRT train safety is an important issue to pay attention to maintain the safety of both the driver and the passengers. In operating the MRT train, it is carried out by a train driver. According to data from the National Transportation Safety Commission (KNKT), in 2016 as many as 45% of accidents were caused by train drivers. This study aims to analyze fatigue and factors related to the occurrence of fatigue in train drivers such as work-related factors and non-work related factors. This research was conducted from January to June 2023 at PT XYZ. The tools used in this study were the Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS) questionnaire to measure fatigue, and the Sound Level Meter to measure noise. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design. The sample in this study was 67 MRT train drivers who actively operated trains. The results of the questionnaire data were analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. The results of this study showed that 41.8% experienced fatigue. From this study, it is known that on work-related risk factors, there is a significant relationship between work shifts and driver fatigue. In non-work related risk factors, there is a significant relationship between commuting time and sleep quality on driver fatigue.
The aim of this study was to determine the factors that led to occupational skindisease complaints on Sewing and Cutting workers at the Preparing/ Upper SoleDepartment, one of the shoe manufacturing in Sukabumi, May 2016. Out of the1.350 respondents, found that 777 workers suffering from occupational skindisease complaints, while 573 others do not suffer from this complaint. Using thesystematic random sampling technique, obtained a sample of 817 workers, ofwhich the result showed 58% of them suffer from occupational skin diseasecomplaints. Statistically there was no significant association between exposures toorganic solvents with occupational skin disease complaints in workers.Furthermore, the study result indicates that workers exposed to organic dust 2.5times are at risk of suffering from occupational skin disease complaints. Workerswith ≤ 3service years had 2.4 times the risk of developing occupational skindisease complaints compared to workers who have > 3 years of service. Workerswho have the habit of not washing their hands have 2.6 times the risk ofoccupational skin disease complaints. Workers who do not wearing gloves are atrisk 4.7 times of occupational skin disease complaints, and workers with a historyof allergies had 6.7 times risk to occupational skin disease complaints. Controlcan be done by educating the workers and do the monitoring, as well asadministrative control and provided the facilities in health promotion andoptimum preventive, such as to provide a sink, use appropriate PPE, screeningand do the treatment as well.
